Chapter 34: A Wanted Man
As Joker hand moves forward towards Adam a horde of bats whooshed pass Adam and latched onto Joker.
Jokers body covered in bats vanished and the bats dispersed, what was left was a foam ball that Joker was juggling earlier.
"Hehe huhu haha that was a lot of bats and I wonder who let them loose hehe" Says joker standing away from Adam looking towards the top of a building.
On top of one of the building was a women who floats downed stands next to Adam.
She was wearing a black long dress that had a trail, she had black long hair and crimson red eyes. she had sharp nails and was about 6ft in height.
"If it isn't a disgusting trickster causing trouble where ever he goes...
leave this place at once?"
"hehe huhu looks like we have a guest Adam and I think she's part of my little group..
So does the lady have a name? hehe"
"My name is Eru and I am only going to say this one more time, leave here or else I will kill you myself"
Adam stands back up and turns towards Eru
"Thank you lady"
"Huhu hehe Eeeerruuuu I want to have some fun, play with meee huhu"
Eru annoyed tuts and sighs
She raises her hands and a horde of bats swarm towards Joker
Joker however vanishes and pops up in a different direction
The swarm of bats follow joker around the alley way,
Joker seems to vanish and appear in another location. When ever Joker teleports a foam ball drops to the floor. The foam balls dropped are the same as the ones he was juggling with earlier.
While the game of cat and mouse was happening with Joker and the swarm of bats Adam turns towards Eru
"Is what he said true, that you both are in some sort of group wanting to play some game?"
"Tchh what he said was correct, there will be an event in 3 years and I wish to have you with me when that times come"
While the swarm of bats chase Joker, another Joker appears right next to Adam
He watches the joker being chased by the bats eating popcorn
"Hehe those bats are getting ever so close hehe"
Both Adam and Eru turn to look at Joker
Joker also turns to look at them and offers some popcorn
Adam swings at Joker and Eru shoots out a multiple small balls of red energy called 'blood bombs' towards Joker.
Blood bombs cause a destructive explosion upon impact.
Joker after taking impact from Adams swing turned into a foam ball and vanished however
Eru used another skill alongside her 'blood bombs' known as 'Bloody sonar' that allows her to sense heart beats in a certain range and she was able to track jokers real body.
The blood bomb she shot at circled around and went straight for a rubbish bin
After hitting the bin an explosion occurred and a red mist formed around the bin
"hehe huhu oww that really hurt Eru"
Out of the red mist Joker walks out with blood trickling down his forehead
"You should have just died, so why don't you stay still and I'll finish you off"
"Now this ain't no fun" Says joker with a serious look on his face
"It looks like both of you are no longer fun so for now I'll say bye bye...
We'll continue this later hehe"
And with that Joker left the alley whistling loudly.
Adam turns to look at Eru's status window

"Now that the tricksters gone I want to ask you a question, would you join me in the event that will take place 3 years from now?"
"Look miss Eru I am really thankful for your help but I'm going to say no to joining up with you, I don't wish to be anyones dog and I don't want to participate in any event I just want to do what I am currently doing and that's all."
Eru sighs
"I see...
Well I'm sure you'll come and find me when the times right" Says Eru smiling sinisterly walks away
"Oh just before I go, you'll be getting more visitors I'm sure of it, but I trust you will make the right choice"
And with those last words Eru turned into a swarm of bats and flew away
"What the heck just happened, I get beat by a crazy clown and a evil looking bat lady"
Adam walks back to Ma Dong-seoks home. He looked bruised and beaten.
As soon Adam walks into the house, Lightning and Sakura notice Adam beaten appearance
"Master what happened to you?" Says Sakura
"It's nothing I just had a little scrap with a clown" says Adam as he walks away
Adam cleans himself up and heads back into the living room,
Sakura walks up to him
"Master I memorised the 3 formulas now what should I do?"
"Ok let's go to the kitchen I'll show you how to use your profession alchemist properly"
Once they entered the kitchen Adam opens up the book he handed Sakura
"Ok So let's start with the first one and when you've mastered it we'll move to the second one and so on"

{Healing potion
Ingredients :
1 litre of distilled water
1lb of green gelatinous cube
3 off of apples
5 off of glistering grass strands
Step 1 - Dice the 3 apples
Step 2 - Add 0.5 litres of water in a pot over a lit fire
Step 3 - place 1lb of gelatinous cube into the pot until it turns liquid and starts to bubble
Step 4 - Place the diced apples into the pot along with the 5 glistering grass stands
Step 5 - Stir mixture and slowly pour in the rest of the liquid and stop when the liquid turns blue
Step 6 - Once the liquid turns blue pour it into a little and let it cool for 30 minutes}

[Green Gelatinous Cube - A creature that evolves from a slime. It is nearly transparent, is green in colour and is shaped like a cube. Travels very slowly and absorbs anything it touches.]

"Ok so now that we know the ingredients and steps let's gather up all the ingredients"
Sakura went off to grab all the items needed for the potion. She returned after a few minutes with all the ingredients
Adam followed the steps and ended up making a bottle of healing potion
"Now Sakura this is the important bit, because you have the profession alchemist like me I'll show you how to use it.
So when you do each step your system screen pops up and as you start following the steps the screen that starts off being white turns green which means it's going well, if it turns red then that means you've gone too far and the success rate will decrease, when it turns orange, then what you should do is move to the next step"
Sakura understood everything Adam was saying
"Master where did you learn all this?"
"When I was in the tower I met a man called Lars who's from Sweden, he said he was a chemical engineer. He was the person who handed me this very notebook with him.
I rescued them from a bunch of Hobgoblins and travelled through the tower floor with them, he was the man who taught me everything there is to know about alchemy.
I hope to see him again to see how's he doing and to see what else I can take.. I mean learn from him haha"
While Adam and Sakura spoke, the house phone rang,
Adam picked it up and found it to be Ma Dong-seok on the other side
"Hi Master is that you?"
"Yeah what's up Ma Dong?"
"My father said that he wants to speak to you before agreeing on the licenses for Shadow and Lightning, if you can pop down that would be great"
"Ok I'll come now" Adam hangs up the phone and heads off to the Korean association.
After an hour in a taxi, Adam finally reached the Korean association. He marched up to the office of the president and just waltzed in.
"Hey old man what can I do for you?"
Dong-seok was in a meeting with two of his men
"Will you two excuse me, it looks like I have some business to take care of"
The two guys left the room and Adam sat down opposite Dong-seok
"Adam I'm glad you make it, so my son tells me you want me to make player licences as well as forge some identifications for two demons?"
"Yes that is correct, and I'm sure you didn't call me here just for me to confirm what your son said was true, so tell me old man what is it you want?"
"Ahaha straight to business I see, well I want you to teach a special class of students who will be looking to join this association, so I want them to be ready for what ever is to come when they first enter a gate or tower"
"Huh you want me to teach a bunch of kids and in return I'll get documentations for two of my guys, what kind of joke is this I know I'm smart and talented but teaching kids maths , science and stuff isn't my thing so if you have any other request let me know"
"I want you to teach them how to use their status window efficiently as well as teach them how to fight so that they don't die in a gate,
If you can teach the kids for just 1 month, in return I will hand over all the documents you need and also hand you over 3 rank 'E' gates.
Adam starts to reconsider the offer as he would have 3 gates to start off his guild with as well as have the paperwork for Shadow and Lightning.
"Ok I'll teach your class for 1 month, but I'll say this if someone dies during my class you'll be responsible"
With Adam happy to teach left the association and made his way back to Ma Dong-seoks home.
When he reached the house he sat down away from Sakura who was practicing alchemy and away from Lightning who was sorting out all the items they had.
Adam started to look at his status window and noticed that he had a platinum mystery box
"Oh yeah I remember I conquered the 'S' rank gate, let's see what I'll get this time"
