Chapter 100: Chapter 100: All Of Us...

They said it was for protecting the caravan better but I digress, they should've stayed inside to save their stamina for later.

Anyway, it's a bit comfy here. We've been travelling for 4 hours now, and we have just got out of the Forest. I laid my back against the roof of the caravan, as my temporary teammates decided to walk instead of travelling inside the vehicle. We have just exited the Forest of Beast, and, might I add, I find that name quite ironic since we haven't encountered any beasts while we were travelling here. Although, I'm grateful that the place we teleported in was quite close to the exit of the forest, that's why we were able to get out in such a short time.

I laid down on my chest as I looked at my teammates, saying, "Are you guys sure you should walk all the way there? I mean, it's a pretty long walk."

"Don't worry, little boss, we are stronger than we look!" Verte said, and I am quite thankful he didn't talk in Larrein. I should've learned most of the popular languages out there, and I am regretful that I didn't do much in those first few months I spent in the sect.

"Kurdak is strong, Kurdak can walk long!" Kurdak puffed his chest, looking proud.

"It's okay, we're used to this," Cecelia said, carrying her wand in her right hand.

Avian seemed to be in deep thought, before looking at me while she walked, saying out of nowhere, "I didn't know that you were such a great sensor, Auguste."

I just shrugged, and said, "Well, I am not the leader of this team for no reason."

I didn't know she could sense that.

You see, since I am an overly cautious child, I used my mana sense to stretch up to 20-kilometers radius so that I could watch everything around me, in case trouble comes to us. Though, it's barely draining my mana.

I'm going to give you an example of how much mana I have.

Imagine 100 needles and as each hour goes by, 1 would disappear. That's how much mana I have. Literally, only 4 percent of my mana has been spent the time I was using my mana sense.

If any other people have done this, besides normal mortals, they would've been drained of all their mana, except for my master and his daughter. They are much more overpowered than me.

2 hours later, we entered the Great Plains. In here, I saw nothing much except for a herd of horses running around the plains.

Somehow, in this far place, someone had paved a road. Must be the doing of the cultivators in the sect since this road is needed for caravan travelling.

Suddenly, the caravan stopped.

"It seems like we'll have to camp in the plains for the night," Dain said as he climbed down the seat.

Hmm, the sun is indeed setting down. Though, it's not wise to rest here since silverback wolf packs were rumored to hunt in here. I think wolves hide near lakes during the day, and they hunt at night.

Silverback Wolves are quite large, having the size of roughly 3 meters long and half a meter wide, but the most dangerous thing about them is their speed. Even with their large statues, they could run at 150 Kilometers per hour, which is almost a tenth of the speed of sound. Normal mortals would die if they ever encountered one, but thankfully, all of us are not normal mortals.

I jumped down from the roof of the caravan, and landed on my feet.

Dain was already taking care of his horses, feeding them with fruits such as the apples from those crates.

The others though were setting their tents so that the only things left would be starting a fire and cooking dinner for everyone. I think Verte took upon that role.

I didn't know what to do, so I just used my Earth Magic to raise four stone walls from the ground on the grass plains, cleaned it off the remaining dirt by using Water Magic, and then dried it with Wind Magic.

The walls roughly covered 10 square meters of land, with the floor inside being remade entirely by stone.

The others looked at me, and I raised my eyebrow in confusion, "What?" I asked.

Verte then said in envy, "C'mon, that's just unfair, little boss. You should also stay in a tent!" He pointed at me.

I shrugged, and said, "It's not my fault none of you uses Earth Magic." It's true though. Cecelia only knows Light Magic, Avian with Wind and Fire Magic, Kurdak using only his physical strength, and then Verte, whose only element is just Sound Magic. They told me that earlier while we were travelling so that we could know each other better. Honestly, they should've learned other elements, even just a little.

Verte was about to reply, but Avian beat him to it, "Just forget about it, Verte. It's not like you'll magically learn how to use Earth Magic if you keep trying to argue with him."

Ain't that ironic?

Verte pouted and looked away.

I simply went onto my business, which is building the roof for the night. I'll be leaving this small stone house I've built for others to use in the future, so I'll need it to be as strong as possible to survive anything thrown at it. If only I knew how to do talisman magic then this would've been easy, but nooooo, I just had to waste my time doing nothin—anyway, I'll just reinforce the walls and roof with magic.

The foundation of this stone house is strong since it came from underground, and it is still connected to it.

Soon, my stone house was built almost perfectly except it didn't have any vanity in it or any kind of decorations since it is, after all, meant to withstand hurricanes and terrible weathers for future passersby.

And, even though I had a huge amount of food in my storage ring, I still decided to eat what Verte cooked, which smelled deliciously from afar.

They had assembled four chopped trees to be our chairs, and in the middle was the bonfire, which was thanks to Avian who used her Fire Magic to light it up. On top of it was a pan, which belonged to Verte, and right now, they were frying some kind of meat, possibly steak.

Kurdak was looking at the meat, his mouth dripping with saliva.

Verte said, looking proud, "I knew Kurdak would love that, that's why I picked It as our dinner for tonight."

Kurdak turned away from the frying pan for a little, and looked at Verte with a serious look, saying, "Kurdak will never forget about this, Kurdak shall return this kindness!"

"Aww, gosh, no need for formalities. We're all friends here! Aren't I right, Avian?" He glanced at the tanned woman, who only narrowed her eyes but immediately changed into a joyful look.

"Yes, of course, all of us are friends here… all of us."
