Chapter 3: Mercy is victory
It's been a whole day since I've been reincarnated into this world. I haven't a second to spare, I have to reach my current max lvl before I can even think of leaving this place. Thankfully I gain xp just from training and leveling up my stats and skills. I'm currently lvl 2 with both water and earth magic at lvl 10. I can't lvl them up any further until I gain more spirit power or a core upgrade. So now there's really nothing else to do except to strengthen my dirt body to its limit with my mana.
Gosh I hope something interesting happens soon, I'm bored out of my mi.....
System notification received-
"Huh, what's this?"
I tapped on the pop up and a mini map of this entire floor showed up in front of me. There were 3 red dots rapidly advancing towards my location as the number of golems on this floor rapidly went down.
"Oh shit... I'm totally dead."
These golems have been here longer than me so if they can't beat these intruders how will I?
Right as I start panicking I feel a large ripping force in my left shoulder followed by a burning cold sensation. Before I can even react My entire right arm gets lobbed off and oh boy does that hurt.
I stumble back a while and look up.
Far in the back of the hallway is a small human woman with what appears to be a 50. Cal sniper rifle. I'll assume she's the one who shot me.
That must be a magic gun... how else would it have frozen the point of impact.
"Heh, this floors gunna be a piece of cake".
The cleric standing besides the sniper says as she stares at me like I'm an ant. (b*tch im a big boi)
"Indeed, once we beat the floor boss we can receive the floor map and return to town. This is a new instant dungeon so we should receive a discovery reward".
The knight ( currently holding a sword to my core) says as she grins at me.
Well now, it's my turn to deal some pain...
My entire right arm reforms as I sucker punch the knight in her chest which send her back 6 meters.
"Damn... this ones... cough...
(blood spurts from her mouth)
"Quite strong.. abnormally so."
"Weiss be careful"
The cleric casts a healing spell on the knight as the sniper takes aim. At the exact second I hear the gunshot I smash my fists against the ground and create a small wall directly In front of me. The sniper round gets stopped by it but the wall freezes and shatters.
"Earth magic?! "
The knight yells out.
"The only way a golem would be able to use magic is if it's of a higher level. That means this guys the floor boss".
"What... how? It's too early!".
Yells out the cleric.
Before they can attack again Jack summons a large ball of water and launches it directly at the sniper. As he does this he dashed towards the cleric. It's common knowledge healers are usually weak and incapable of fighting.
" If I knock her out they'll definitely retreat" Jack thinks to himself.
The cleric seems weaker than the other two girls so Jack ( being the gentleman he is) softens his blow which still launches her into the back wall.
"Let's get out of here!" The knight shouts out.
They all start running for the exit and after a while the red markers on the mini map disappear.
"Whew...."
Jack sits down with his back against the wall.
As he goes over his stats he notices some of the values went down.
"Oh yeah, my stats relate to my physical form as well as my spirit. Of course losing an arm and shoulder resulted in me losing 4 strength".
"My mana reserve is empty now to",
He mumbles.

He looks around and realizes that the sniper left behind her rifle. He picks it up and examine it which is followed by a system notification.

Jack examines the sniper rifle and jumps back when he sees its stats.

"How the hell did I survive getting hit by this!!"

"Oh, so you can talk?"

Well now that that's over I have to finish enhancing my self in case stronger adventurers come by. Once they hear a dungeon has a floor one boss as strong as me they'll definitely think the loot here is amazing.
Jack enters a meditative state and begins to encircle mana around his body.
Little did he know his existence in this world was a very valuable thing to both good and evil alike. And while he is blissfully unaware treating his current situation like a game... the heros of justice and agents of destruction already began making their moves.
