TSUNADE SENJU POV
Earlier that day.
She won yet another round in the Slot machine and her scowl deepened.
"Lady Tsunade. You won once again." Shizune said.
With how long Shizune has been with her, she also knew that whenever her luck starts turning better, something bad is about to happen.
"I did." She said and got up from her chair without even collecting her winnings. "We're leaving Shizune."
Shizune nodded and followed behind her.
Just as she left the Casino, something happened.
She paused mid-step and looking around, using what little Chakra Sensing abilities she had to search for any other shinobi nearby.
She couldn't find anyone.
But she knew that something had happened.
Something has changed within her. Something fundamental. Something important.
She turned to look at Shizune who looked a little uncomfortable as well.
"Did you felt it as well Shizune?" She asked.
Shizune nodded. "What just happened Lady Tsunade?"
She paused for a moment and then she went to the window of a nearby shop and removed her transformation.
She saw her true self in the reflection and realized that instead of turning old as she should be… she looked even younger.
"Lady Tsunade!!!" Shizune exclaimed as she too realized what had happened.
She turned away from the glass and looked at Shizune.
It was not as noticeable for your apprentice but she could tell that Shizune had become younger as well. If only by a little bit.
Not only that but the little imperfections in her face had been removed as well.
This was… troubling.
Because becoming younger was a good thing. And good things just didn't happen to her.
Not without a catch.
She closed her eyes and looked within herself, trying to find what else had changed within her.
It didn't take her long to figure out that not only had she become young, but her body was in the most perfect state it had ever been in.
She was not this healthy even when she was a young girl.
Her Chakra reserves had also gone up a notch and her Control which she thought she couldn't improve any further had gone up a level as well.
But then she noticed something even more important.
She… she didn't felt sorrow when she thought about Dan.
Well, she did feel a little sad when she thought about his death but it did not send her into a spiral of depression as it once used to do.
Before she could do any further inspection of herself, she felt a disturbance in the space near her.
She took Shizune by the hand and they were a dozen meters away from that place a moment later.
Her eyes narrowed as she saw a hole of some sort form on the wall.
Except, it was no normal hole as she could see a beautiful forest on the other side of that hole.
And… the people on the streets were walking by as if they did not see that hole.
Her eyes narrowed as she realized that those civilians indeed did not see that hole.
'Some sort of genjutsu?' she wondered.
Then… a man… no. A boy walked out of the portal and her heart sped up as at the sudden realization that she loved him more than she even loved Dan.
Not only that but she also felt arousal toward this boy.
This… was definitely not normal.
Her training kicked in and she felt the urge to kill him. To free herself and Shizune from whatever he had done. But then she realized how much she loved him and that her hatred for being controlled like this was overcome by the love she felt for him.
"You are the one who mind-controlled us?" She asked, her voice and posture calm and not showing even a hint of the conflicted feelings brewing in her heart.
The boy walked up to them and her eyes narrowed as she took in his features.
Blond hair. Blue eyes. Whiskered Cheeks…
She knew who he was. She could be wrong but she was pretty sure that the boy was none other than the child of that Minato brat and Kushina.
The Jinchuriki of the 9 tailed fox.
Naruto Uzumaki.
But how did the boy gained the power to control people like this?
"Yes," The boy said without any preamble "And if you would follow me then I would explain the whole situation to you." He said while gesturing at the Hole.
She wanted to refuse him but how do you refuse the man that you love so much that you would do anything for him.
She sighed inwardly.
There was really nothing she could do at this point but bow down and accept this boy as her man.
She had lost this game before she even knew that there was one.
She nodded and walked toward the Hole in the space. "Let's go Shizune. I want some answers."
