Chapter 172: Are You Disappointed?
In Section 1, Nathan Yang was not in a favorable position.
"How long are you going to keep me restrained?" He calmly asked Mu Qianmo who was watching him attentively.
Lin Fang passed by while carrying a medical kit in his hand.
He paused and saw Nathan Yang who was restrained by metal bars, gave him one short glance, and moved on as if he saw nothing.
"This bastard..." Nathan Yang laughed.
"Dr. Fang, do something!" He called out.
"How long are you going to let this guy keep me captive like this?"
Lin Fang pretended he didn't hear Nathan Yang. He felt that this guy deserves to be treated this way for being a jerk.
Moreover, his little sister, Jiao'er already told him everything he needed to know.
In short, Nathan Yang was an even bigger asshole than he expected.
He actually dared to throw a knife at his precious little sister? Hmph. From now on, they were no longer on peaceful terms.
Before, Lin Fang could still tolerate Nathan Yang's attitude because he might not look like it but he is actually a responsible person.
However, Lin Fang's outlook towards him made a complete 180° turn after finding out what the bastard tried to do to his sister.
His sister was not a little guinea pig!
That Nathan Yang was really not a reliable person.
Lin Fang would no longer help him. To him, Nathan Yang would be just like those soldiers from the military who were useless lapdogs to the higher-ups.
As Lin Fang arrived at a room, he knocked on the door three times before opening it.
"Big brother! You're here!"
After seeing his sister's smile, Lin Fang sighed with relief after confirming that he wasn't really dreaming. His little sister was truly alive!
"Jiao'er, did you slept well?" Lin Fang said in a soft tone, his expression was quite gentle that if Nathan Yang saw this, he wouldn't be able to hold back and make some kind of offending comment.
"Big brother, I'm fine. Big sister Qingqing and I were able to sleep well this time. Xiao Ji is still asleep at the moment while the others are in the room next to this."
"That's good." Lin Fang said as he rubbed the top of her hair in a familiar manner.
"I'm a little worried about Big sister Qingqing. She isn't in a good mood since Big sister Mo disappeared." Lin Jiaojiao said in a concerned tone.
After Lilian Mo passed out, her body vanished infront of their eyes.
Mu Qingqing actually lost it and started panicking. Lin Jiaojiao was also quite stunned and they couldn't help but look at Nathan Yang as the culprit because only after Lilian Mo confronted him did she lost consciousness and disappeared before their very eyes.
Lin Jiaojiao and Mu Qianmo were the only two rational people who were conscious at that time so they were actually placed in a difficult position while facing so many problems at once.
Lin Fang's eyes glistened with familiarity.
"Ah... That Lilian Mo is the one who saved you and gave you that katana, right?" On the surface, Lin Fang seemed at peace while talking but he was actually in a dilemma.
He never thought that a day would come where his precious little sister would be forced to hold a weapon. But then, he also realized that he wouldn't be able to protect her forever because times have changed.
They were no longer in a peaceful era. The past four months seemed so long.
Death, gore, destruction, and thick blood became the remnants of human civilization.
He studied to become a doctor so he could give her a bright future and yet, they were actually given such a bleak future.
Lin Fang hid his right hand which he had clenched so hard, his nails were almost digging through his skin.
If only he wasn't so weak, he could have saved her from suffering. He subconsciously touched his chest, his eyes clouding for a moment.
"Jiao'er, are you disappointed that big brother wasn't able to come and save you? I'm sorry... I truly am." Lin Fang bowed his head with shame.
