Chapter 1: New Life
After being sent away by ROB, Alex is now on his way to start his new life.
Woman: What a beautiful baby you have, Elizabeth! He looks just like you! What are you going to name him?
Elizabeth is the mother of Alex in his second life. She has semi-long black hair that's tied into a ponytail, that reaches past her nape. She is a thin and beautiful woman who looks to be just in her early 20's.
Elizabeth: I know exactly what I'm gonna name him. His name is Alexander, Alexander Gregory.
Alex: 'Is this a coincidence? I can't believe my new name is the exact same one as my old one. This must be ROB's doing. This should be a lot easier to remember now. And it seems my new mother's name is Elizabeth, and by the looks of it, the other woman should be someone from her family since they look so much alike.'
Woman: Alexander is a wonderful name. I think it suits him very well. Anyway, congratulations, Elizabeth. But sadly, I have to go to work now.*sigh*
Elizabeth: Don't worry about it, Asuka. you can come and visit whenever you want.
Alex: 'So her name is Asuka, maybe that's my aunt. Oh well, I'll find out at some point since my mom said she could come and visit anytime. But this is really strange, my body feels so heavy, I can barely open my eyes. My face is starting to itch but I can barely reach my own face, I guess I'll just ask for help.'
Alex: Uwaaagaaahaaaaa (Hey can someone please scratch my face for me?)
While Alex was asking for help, no one understood what he was saying. All they heard was a baby making noises.
Elizabeth: Oh no, he's crying. Asuka help me, I don't know what to do!
Asuka: Figure it out yourself, you are his mother and you'll have to learn how to do it yourself. See you later, Bye!
Asuka leaves for her work, walking out of the hospital room while laughing. While she walks out, a man runs in while panting.
Man: Elizabeth! How are you? Are you fine? Does anything hurt? Do you need me to get you anything?
Elizabeth laughs while the man continues to ask questions.
Elizabeth: Calm down, I'm doing just fine. You don't have to be such a worrywart, David.
The man who just ran in with all the questions is named David. He is a tall, muscular man with short blonde hair that doesn't reach down far.
David: That's very good then. Oh? Who's this little guy?
Elizabeth: This is our son, Alexander.
David: Since when did we agree on Alexander? It doesn't matter though, I kinda like the name. Hello there, Alexander. My name is David and I am your father.
While Elizabeth and David are chatting up a storm, Alex who had given up trying to ask for help just silently watched his parents talk. On the other hand, the nurse in the room was just standing there with sweat running down the side of her face as she was being ignored.
Nurse: Ahem! Congratulations on a healthy birth, Mr. and Mrs. Gregory. Mrs. Gregory, how are you feeling right now?
Elizabeth: I feel amazing right now! I could leave right now at this very moment!
Elizabeth says with a smile while winding up her arm as if she's ready to hit someone. The nurse looks at her again with a sigh and starts to walk out of the room.
Nurse: I will try to get you discharged today since you're ready to go now.
After she says that, the nurse leaves the room leaving Alex, Elizabeth, and David in there all alone.
David: I can't wait until he's 5! Then I can train him with the sword so he'll be an amazing adventurer when he grows up, just like me.
Elizabeth: No way! He's gonna be a mage like me, and be an expert in magic.
While the two keep arguing, Alex inwardly sighs as he feels like going to sleep.
5 Years later
Alex is currently outside sweating in his backyard training with a sword with his father. Alex is sweating heavily since he can't keep up with his father's stamina at his young age. Alex then collapses.
David: Hahaha! Wonderful, truly magnificent! We've been going at it for 2 hours now. it's amazing you could last this long at suck a young age! By the time you are 8 or 9, you would probably have a chance at beating me!
David laughs loudly at his sons progress with the sword while Alex can hardly stand after all their practice. While David is laughing proudly at his sons achievements, Elizabeth is yelling from the kitchen.
Elizabeth: Don't bully the young boy, he's only 5! Don't you think you're going a little too hard on him?
David: No way am I going too hard on him! He's my son after all! He can handle anything that comes his way, isn't that right, Alex?
Alex slowly stands up with a smile.
Alex: Of course I can. I will become the strongest in the world with my parents guiding me!
Elizabeth could only let out a hopeless sigh with a smile while she looks at her soon from the kitchen window.
Elizabeth: 'He truly is David's son.'
David on the other hand looks at his son with a smirk.
David: So you think you're tough huh? I'll put you in your place you little brat!
Alex also looks at him while smirking.
Alex: Come and try it, old man.
The father and son duo go at it again for another hour before Alex passes out for pushing himself past his limits. But before he falls, David rushes over and catches him.
David: 'This kid is truly a monster. When he goes to school, no one will be able to mess with him. I can only hope he doesn't get arrogant thinking no one can stop him. But knowing him, that'll never happen.'
David goes inside the house and takes Alex to his room laying him on the bed.
Alex wakes up a couple hours later feeling sore all over his body.
Alex: 'Ouch. This really hurts. But I haven't practiced my magic yet. I need to hurry before the day ends. If I miss this, my schedule will get all messed up and I can't let that happen.'
Alex slowly walks out of his room to go back outside to practice his magic. When he was about to go back outside he feels someone grab his shoulder.
Elizabeth: Woah there, young man. Where do you think you're going? You just finished training a couple hours ago. You trained so hard you passed out. You can't do too much or it'll ruin your health. Stay inside for the rest of the day, will you?
Alex: But mom, I'm only going to practice my magic! I won't train my body for the rest of the day I promise! Just please let me go! If you don't I won't be able to become a good mage like you!
Alex says that trying to convince his mom to let him go and....it worked.
Elizabeth: Okay fine. But don't push yourself too hard again, got it?
Alex: Yes ma'am!
Alex smiles at his mother and then runs outside to practice his magic. He stays out there for 3 hours training his, water, wind, earth, fire, lightning, light, dark, and space element to the limits. He also has the erase element that can cancel out any magic no matter how strong it is. His parents looked at him still shocked from seeing him use all those elements. Everyone in this world is only able to use 1 element, and if they are lucky they might have 2, but won't have a high affinity with one of them. And over all that, he was also able to use the space element which was never heard of before until now. They told Alex to never reveal anymore than 2 elements as to not draw suspicion and cause anyone to have ill intent towards him. After all, they don't want their only child to be kidnapped, or worse, killed.
Alex: 'Ahhhh. I've used all the Mana in my Mana pool for now. I need to make it bigger so I could use more. But I'm satisfied so far since I'm only 5 years old. I can't wait until I'm 16 so I can enter a Magic Academy! I've still got 11 years to go so that's more than enough time to strengthen myself up before leaving. I'm really glad I kept my previous life's memories so I can use some of that knowledge to help me do better. After all, in my previous life I was pretty smart. Well anyway, I need to go back inside. I haven't had anything to eat since breakfast and I'm starving.'
Alex walks back inside the house holding his stomach as he is really hungry. He walks into the kitchen and taps his mother's arm, who is currently cooking dinner right now.
Alex: Mommmm. I'm hungryyy.
Elizabeth looks at her son and laughs softly as she listens to her son.
Elizabeth: Dinner will be ready in about 5 minutes. Can you hold on that long, Alex?
Alex: I guess so...
Alex slowly walks away from the kitchen until he stops and turns around.
Alex: Mom!
Elizabeth: How can I help you, Alex?
Alex: I wanna learn how to cook.

Also, if you are wondering what the world he is in about, I will be explaining it in the next chapter. I also won't be going into detail on how he learns how to cook in the next chapter because I don't know how to cook :/ Anyway thanks for reading! Bye!!
