My panic meter was rising, anxiety rushing through my head and as she was about to drag me out of the place I did the first thing I could think off.
I bit her arm, hard.
She screamed at the pain and as she loosened her grip on me and yanked her hand away, I pushed her out and immediately closed the door from the inside.
Then I locked the door using manual locks so that no one from the outside will be able to open it.
I finished the work fast and as soon as I was done the door tried to open.
I backed away as Luna yelled at me, "You bitch open this!"
I feel like she's gonna scream for a while so I turned and left the place and went to my room.
I could still hear her a little so I wore my headphones and turned on the music to cancel everything out.
Then I quietly began to do my homework.
Hours passed by and as night took over the door to my room opened. I was still busy solving the maths problem when someone softly took my earphone out from my left ear and I flinched.
I shot my head towards him.
"Calix?"
He smirked at me, "You bit my sister?" He was amused.
"Uh..." I took the other earphone off, "Well, I did..." I didn't meet his eyes, "I...uh, I did bite her..." I glanced at him.
"Mhmm." He looked at me with his arms folded.
"She was about to drag me out and that was flight or fight response."
"Hmm, " He nodded his head, "Well good."
...
I was surprised.
"Wait, really?" This was new, "You're not mad?"
"No," He unfolded his arms and patted my head, "Luna can get a little childish but I got it under control."
...
I pursed my lips as my cheeks flushed a little.
It felt nice
But Oh!
"She said I looked familiar... What if she recognizes me?"
"Well, I doubt that'll happen but-" He paused , "I did tell her not tell anyone about this but there's a chance she will do that."
I felt my anxiety creep up and I my heart beat began to accelerate, "Then?!"
"I got the locked changed." He handed me another key, "Now only you and I have the key."
I took it and stared at the black shiny sleek card key.
"Oh..." I calmed down a little but it suddenly struck me, "Wait..." I looked back at him, "How did you get in?"
"Well," He tapped his finger on the desk, "The whole door was changed since you wouldn't open it."
I felt my soul leave my body.
"I'm so sorry!!" I felt so bad, "I'm so stupid!"
"Well, " He calmed me down, "That's why now only you and I have the key so nothing like that will happen again."
"Oh..." I bit my lower lip, "Alright... Sorry again..."
"Hmm," He thought about something.
"It won't happen again!" I looked at him in desperation.
"Yeah, I'm counting on it."
"Sorry..." I looked down again.
"Well, I'll let it slide," He passed me a soft smile, "How about going to a party with me?"
...
"A party?" I looked at him in horror.
"Don't worry." He said, "It's not a classy party." He assured me, "It's more like casual get together thing."
I frowned, "Why?"
"It's arranged by my school friends and all of them who are in a relationship are bringing their partners."
"Oh..."
"So? Will you go with me?"
