Chapter 98: Fight and Love

Said breathlessly a man that wore a damaged Atlesian uniform as he runs through snow dunes.
"Just little mo--!"
And that was his last words as he collapsed into the snow with a visible bullet hole through his head.

Said Altesian corporal as he and his mates fired another volley inside the hallway that was now bathed in red light.
"Fire in the hole!"
Said another as he fired rocked, don't caring about the damage he had done.
"OOOOOHHHHHH SHIIIIIIITT!!!!"
Atlesian soldier said as he saw nightmare come to life.
Throughout the damaged hallway that had bullet holes and scratches from flames all-around, two new improved SPCS Bastion units walked, upgraded with new crystal computing technology and hard light-shielding they reap lives left and right as their left hands held a roman looking shield and in their right gatling gun that newer seemed to run out of ammo.
"Activate self-destruction! NOW!"
Said corporal as he used his semblance to block incoming fire.

On the east of Solitas battle raged between two air fleets and a horde of nevermores, one bore a flag of Atlas proudly and the other was rode under Snowflake symbol, and as they tore each other apart with kinetic weapon fire, both of fleets ripped nevermore's that dared approach the sky battlefield.

Even without magic Ozpin could feel it.
Just like every century, change was coming, and he was once again powerless to act.
Ozpin knew that the moment all connections to Atlas fallen, something bad happened, even his personal connection to Ironwood was disconnected, but not because of outside forces, Ozpin knew that Ironwood disconnected it himself...

Ozpin would send Qrow, but after last time he didn't dare as it seemed that SDC and Schnee family already documented how Qrow looks in his crow state and thus always warned him to leave before they opened fire.
Ozpin sighted as he powerlessly watched another of his friends fall...
There was the reason he stopped getting deeply attached to others, yes he knew that thanks to such a mindset, he started others see as nothing more than pieces on board, alas he was too cowardly to open his heart as he knew, he knew that they would die, if not by Salem's hand, they couldn't outrun time itself...
And so, all Ozpin could do was to reinforce the borders and settlements with his students as reports of higher Grimm activity came.
Was it a mistake sending Amber to Altas?
No... If Ozpin was sure of one thing, as the Schnee would never permit that power to fall to someone who could hurt his family, and Ozpin used such fact in protecting Fall maiden...
Just if he knew why he had such strange feelings about it...

Said Ozpin as he looked from the window of his tower with sorrow in his ancient eyes.
He was too tired...

"Boss, this base was swept clean."
Said SPCS Captain who wore a standard captain white hood and cape around her body that hid all her proportions as it was intended.
After all that cape was one of the most costly equipment, made from dust and spider silk strands, it gave both protection to wielder high enough to block bullets, of course, kinetic power was then absorbed by armor captains wore under the cape.
"Good, survivors?"
Asked Sienna as she revived the report.
"Just civilians, scientists, engineers and standard personnel for such complex."
Said Captain and Sienna nodded, satisfied.
"Good, wrap it up there and move to next destination."
Said Sienna and Captain nodded as she barked orders.
Sienna smiled to herself, good if it was going to be this smooth, she would demand a reward from Aegis...
Just thinking about it made Sienna tremble in anticipation.

Cinder and Emerald sat on the couch as they watched the current progress of forces, Cinder at first wanted to join but Aegis said that she should just watch, that this victory needs to belong to their soldiers and not them.
Cinder could see the logic in it, after all if led them by hand for the entire time, the SPCS would become a joke, so she accepted Aegis reasoning and just watched the battles in real-time from satellite video.
Emerald who was in Cinder's embrace, just hummed to herself as she didn't like the bloodshed but knew that both Cinder and Aegis are people who even if not seeking it would always be by the center of such bloody things.
Emerald told Cinder her intention, and she told Cinder her wish to be with her even if she chose to pursue a relationship with Aegis, and to Emerald's surprise, Cinder just chuckled.
Cinder told Emerald that she didn't even think about it, but said there was a high possibility of her and Aegis getting together.
When Emerald heard it she almost cried but stopped when Cinder kissed her and told her that it was just thought, a thought she didn't want to pursue as it meant hurting her, but now that Emerald chose to follow this path?
Cinder said she didn't mind if she shared their relationship with Aegis that at least like that they would be truly together.
But what took Emerald truly hard was what Cinder said next.
For Cinder said that she would like to see mint-haired little children with both Emeralds and Aegis properties, that she would love to see a merge of two people she now loved most...
And that she would like them to play with her own little images with Aegis...
That night Emerald and Cinder slept together, Emerald was both surprised and scared, but when she thought about it, she felt strangely at peace...
She never thought about the possibility of children, not when she preferred women company, but...
Emerald thought that if it was Aegis, it wouldn't be bad...
Cinder who looked at her emotionally torn lover just smiled as new doors opened for her...
Until now she didn't think romantically about Aegis, yes she loved him and would do anything for her little brother, she owed everything, but now that Emerald came up with the possibility of more than familial love?
It made Cinder strangely pleased, and what she said was true, she truly wanted to see mini Emeralds or Aegis clones running around...

Yelled girl with short black hair with red tips and that had silver eyes with such innocence inside them that it would make even a villain do good if she used them as weapons.
"Wh-what! As Ruby, don't scare me so much!"
Yelled fifteen-year-old girl that already had a body of seductress with her big hips and even bigger bust, but the most eyecatching thing was her golden hair that flowed down to her backside in a wild manner.
"What gave you such scare?"
Asked Ruby with her innocent eyes.
"Nothing, just thinking..."
Said Yang as she looked back at the tv.
"WHAT? Yang thinking?! ABORT ABORT THE WORLD ENDS!"
Yelled Ruby with true panic, and Yang's forehead gained few veins as she gritted her teeth at her younger sister's outburst.
"YOU LITTLE!"
Yang yelled as she chased the laughing red petal.
Still, even as she terrorized her younger sister for her dramatic insult on her intelligence Yang still didn't forget what she saw on TV...
For when she saw Atlas graduation ceremony she could see Schnee family...
A Schnee family where she saw her mother standing in maid clothing...

As Aegis was free for the night, he chose to go to his office where he could observe the progress of his forces, and Aegis knew that if there was something outside of parameters his commanders, captains, generals, admirals, or Sienna would call, and thus was at ease as there was no such call.
But as he closed the door of his office, he was greeted by most wondrous sight.
"Hello, little brother."
Said Winter who stood before Aegis's table clothed just in her black underwear.
An ornated underwear that let little to imagine as Aegis drunk his big sister's body curves.
"I expect my reward for completing school with honors."
Winter said teasingly and smiled at her younger brother with a gentle smile that just screamed about love.
"And, I think it's time you already had all blood-connected family inside your harem."
Said Winter with a smile and kissed Aegis on the lips as she tried to calm her nerves, yes she acted strong but deep down, she was nervous more than ever...
After all, it was her first time...
"Winter..."
Aegis said, and Winter just shushed him.
"No, Weiss and mother already slept with you, and even Harriet,,, I will not permit another one, not before you claim me as your fourth..."
Winter said and Aegis just nodded...
Winter smiled as she slowly unclothed Aegis...
