Chapter 193: Awakening
Taylor awakened and the first thing she knew was a pain...
And enormous pain that seemed to rip her mind apart from multiple strange sensations and feelings she swore there wasn't previously.
But as the pain seemed to never lessen down, she heard, heard a piece of music, a peaceful, full of life, and...
And...
And of love, of acceptance, that made her pain seemed to retreat as her mind calmed down...
But as Taylor tried to think about the music that made her pain to go away, she couldn't remember it, all she could remember was the feeling of peacefulness it brought to her...
"Miss?"
"Miss?"
"Ah... W-water..."
"Yes of course, immediately."
Said voice to Taylor's hoarse voice, her throat felt so dry...
"There, drink it slowly."
Taylor did so as she felt a straw near her dry and painful lips and took a slow gulp of water...
"T-thank you..."
Taylor said as she finally opened her eyes slowly and saw a concerned nurse to give her a brief smile as she took the bottle of water away.
"You don't need to deary, but let me call doctor, yes? Im sure you have questions, but you don't need to worry all your alignments were healed by Panacea."
The blonde Nurse said as she went outside to call someone and let Taylor look around.
What she saw was a standard hospital room, white walls, a medical bed she lay in, and TV on the wall opposite to her bed, with the beeping sounds of multiple devices she just now registered...
"But then she heard voices, which was strange because she was sure she was alone there, and yet she could hear one angry and one strict voice to speak from somewhere."
And as Taylor focused, she could make up the words that were spoken.
"I can't let you in until im sure she is healthy enough to make such a conversation."
The angry voice said.
"She was healed by Panacea, her health isn't in question."
The strict voice said.
"Her body maybe, but her mind is a different matter, Panacea cant heal a brains and minds, and after the thing that girl gone through, she at least needs time to adjust!"
The angry voice said and Taylor felt the need to thank him?
"Panacea refused to speak about her condition, which means the patient is Parahuman, the PRT needs to speak with her before she chooses something ilogical as to turn Vilainy, and about multiple other things."
The strict voice said and Taylor felt a jolt go through her...
Her Parahuman? But that was... Wait, was it the reason she heard their voices even through the walls?
"By it, as it may, I can't let you in, not without her or hers guardian consent as she didn't do anything incriminating and was rather subject of bioterror, so you can come at a later date Armsmaster."
The angry voice said and there was silence until Taylor felt heavy boots go away?
"What a prick..."
The angry voice uttered as it sighed in tiredness and after a while of listening to walking, Taylor could hear another set of feet that seemed to come closer to her, she panicked, even if without reason, until she heard a knocking sound on the doors of her room.
"C-come in."
"Hello there, how do you feel, Taylor?"
An elderly voice said, and Taylor recognized it as the angry voice, which now seemed to be more relaxed as the elderly doctor spoke to her.
"G-good? I-I don't know..."
"Then you must feel alright, let see, all of your body problems were healed by that child Panacea, so there isn't any problem with that, tell me, do you feel strange, do you feel as if something was different?"
The doctor kindly asked, and Taylor had the urge to speak, but she stopped herself as she looked away from the kindly elderly eyes that seemed to recognize her dilemma.
"I see, Taylor, what you went through, must be one of worst things to ever happen to you, we call it Trigger event, the worst event in your life that gave you your powers, and don't try it to hide it, child, you aren't first, and surely not the last one who this hospital housed as, but let me tell you, no matter what happened child, don't let it consume you, don't let the negative things take away your reason."
The elderly doctor said as he fished out a leaflet.
"There, your father was contacted, and is already surely on his way, until then, read this, im sure it would help you, and answer your questions much better than I could."
"You will not ask me?"
"Of what? What powers have you gained? No, later you will learn that such questions are dangerous, so read it, and make sure you remember it."
The doctor said as he went away, leaving Taylor to her thoughts and the paper in her hands, and as she looked at the inscription, she froze.
"Manual how to not die as a newly triggered cape."

Aegis looked at the name in the Schnee family book and couldn't but help to ask who was Taylor Schnee Anne Hebert, or just Taylor, as even if there were different names, her name had the same color as any full-blooded Schnee as it was mean that the blood of Schnee flow in their bodies, and they had their semblance...
"Was it you Gaia?..."
Aegis muttered but, after a while, he knew he wouldn't get an answer as the Gaia tree seemed to slumber...
"Big brother?"
"Weiss."
Aegis in greeting as Weiss walked into his office with a complicated face.
"I... I want to speak about the thing I long ago said..."
Aegis quirked an eyebrow.
"Yes?"
"I meant the huntsmen academy, about my and others' decision to go to Beacon and train as huntsmen, I know there isn't a reason to, Grimm isn't our enemies any longer with aunt Salem there, but..."
"Weiss, do you wish to try it?"
"...I?... Yes? I don't know it is, I thought it would by easier choice..."
"Weiss, don't take it too hard, but if the distance is the thing that you worry about, then you should know that the new bullhead prototype is very capable of flowing from Vale to Atlas in under an hour."
Aegis said with a smile as he saw Weiss's face morph into that of relaxed.
"I see, and you aren't against it?"
"And why would I? Weiss, it is your decision, and more importantly, I don't mind when you try something new, being imprisoned in this sole castle, no matter how lovely it is there, for a long time wouldn't be good for you, so go and explore the world, I will wait there, as your brother and houseband."
Aegis said with a smile to Weiss, who grinned at him.
"So you want to change our roles? From housewife to househusband?"
Weiss asked and Aegis came to her as he took her into his embrace and deeply kissed her.
"Yes, I will, by it you or any other, I don't mind if you wish to go out and live life, I will wait there for your return, as any loving husband should."
Aegis said and Weiss just smiled.
"Yes, but you don't need to speak about others with me in your arms, so tell me, what you have for me, mister husband."
Weiss said as her shoulders relaxed, knowing her big brother wouldn't ever leave her, she knew it, but she always liked more of such promises, it just made her tummy feel good.
"Well, as I saw in some Earthen works, I should ask you if you wish dinner, a shower... Or me?"
Aegis said and after he said it, he found himself on the floor with Weiss on him.
"Next time, bring an apron."
Weiss said as she tore her and Aegis's clothes off.
"Will do, wife."
Aegis smiled as he helped Weiss to unclothe, his mind entirely on her and her beautiful body, thus not noticing another pair of wide blue eyes that were so similar to Weiss's ones, that looked at them from the hallway through the opened doors.
