Chapter 42: Chapter 41
[A/N:I really need to take some time out and think about the future chapter as the whole Mummy,Jinn and Santa claus stuff doesn't work with me.I am thinking of making Jinn like the ones in supernatural.]
Hope after her boyfriend went off was bored and started to spend time with Josie and Lizzie it was going good,until Landon showed thinking that he was trying to annoy her again Hope tried to ignore him.But it turned out he needed help with finding more about his birth parents feeling slight pity she told him to find a family friend that will help Landon find his birth mom.
Josie felt the same way as she gave him an enchanted locator ,should he ever need help, he'd just have to press the gem on his bracelet will let them know his location.But it didn't take long as 3 days later Josie came to Hope saying"Hope its Landon his locator just lit up,it seems he is in trouble."
Hope was surprised as she took Josie to Caroline and explained to her the whole situation ,Caroline who was sighed and said"You should have come to me before sending him anywhere.Now where is he ?"
Hope replied"I had placed a tracking spell on him and it showed he is in Kansas."Caroline nodded as she took her car keys and said"You both are coming with me."
Hope and Josie looked at each other and nodded,it took sometime to reach Landon's mothers place as they parked the car only to find Alex leaning against the gate smiling in their direction as Caroline said"I called him telling him about little situation with Landon."
Hope smiled seeing her boyfriend back as she went and hugged him,Josie didn't want to waste time as she explained everything about Landon to Alex.
Alex still had his familiar watching Landon as he said"It seems someone is after them."So without wasting time Alex took Hope, Josie and Caroline and apparated to the spot.Caroline entered the room, but she felt a gun behind her as she said, I'm looking for Landon Kirby."Seylah asked, "And who the hell are you?"Josie answered, "We are from his classmates."
Seylah is an attractive woman with long, dark brown hair and hazel-brown eyes. She wore a dark leather jacket and boots,she was studying Hope las she smiled and said, "You must be Hope."Hope was surprised hearing this woman recognize her as she then guessed it must be Landon who told her everything. Seylah So you're the headmaster of a private school for supernaturals."
Alex know knew the organization who was using Malivore it was Triad as he was pretty sick of the things they did
Caroline after hearing everything from Landon turned to Seylah and said" Well, now you know about us. All we know about you is that you gave birth to Landon, he says a monster attacked you, and now there's some sort of fake gas company coming after you two. So, I think it's time you start filling in some blanks."
Hope added, "Don't think about lying my boyfriend is a mind reader."
Seylah was surprised hearing the mind reader part and seeing she has no other way,she sat and explained"When I finished my service in the army, I was recruited by an intelligence organization. The States sounded like a better life. I didn't know what I was signing up for, but soon I learned that things like you exist in this world. My job was very much like yours. To keep the supernatural world a secret. Whenever a monster went bump in the night and risked exposing the truth, I tracked it down and brought it back to headquarters."
Hope was annoyed at being called that as she said"We're not monsters."
Seylah simply replied, "You are to me."Alex snorted and said"I have seen humans do worse,just the other day I found the fact human experimented on kids with witch heritage and trianed then to be child soldier,so don't talk bullshit about us being the monsters."
Seylah was stumped,but she couldnt deny anything,as
Alec asked, "You learned about Malivore didn't you?"Seylah was surprised Alex knew about Malivore as she questioned"How do you know about Malivore?"
Alex shrugged and replied"My ancestors kept a record of everything, they knew about Malivore's creation to how he was sealed. Malivore seems to be able to control the monsters to a certain extent as they all came looking for the keys to his prison."
Seylah nodded and continued"The organization I used to work for Triad guards the portal to Malivore. When I realized I was having memory lapses, I started writing everything down. Drawing maps. I wrote about the creatures I captured and where I took them. Each entry ended there.Triad didn't like me snooping around as they threw me into the pit.I'm still not sure that I believe what I'm about to Malivore consumes you, you experience endless darkness and when I got out two years had already passed and I was covered in mud."
Josie recognize the name of the company as she said"Isn't that the company MG's mother works at?"Alex, Josie, Hope and Caroline made sure to remember to ask MG about this, while Alex knocked out Landon causing Seylah to be worried and check on him, and seeing he was just sleeping she asked"Why did you do that?"
Alex replied, "Because when I looked into your memories,I found out you had few guesses about who Landon's father was?"Seylah flinched seeing she was not answering Alex continued"You were in Malivore for 2 years and before that, you didn't have any flings or relationships with anyone before being thrown into Malivore. So how did you get pregnant with Landon?"
Seylah had already guessed who it was, but she was just denying that fact as she hesitantly answered, "Landon's father is Malivore."Everyone was shocked as they looked at the sleeping figure of Landon as Alex who was thoughtful muttered"Make sense only Malivore is capable of releasing you from his prison and we all know he is obsessed with continuing his bloodline."
Hope, Caroline and Josie became slightly green at the thought now they knew why she left Landon no matter how much she cared for him, Landon will always remind her of the fact Malivore had impregnated her without her consent.
