Chapter 108: Chapter 93
While in Mikaelson manor Sirius Black slowly regained his senses, gradually returning to his former self. Upon regaining consciousness, he felt confused and ready to fight, but he was thankfully calmed down by the presence of Frank and Alice. Sirius narrowed his eyes as he looked at Freya and Davina, questioning their identity.
"Who are they?" he asked.
Alice Longbottom responded, "They are Freya and Davina Mikaelson."
Sirius recognized the name and remembered that they were friends with Alice and Frank. He recalled how Alice had considered moving to the States with the Mikaelsons for safety reasons. Dumbledore, however, had opposed the idea, labeling the Mikaelsons as a dark family.
Now, seeing Alice and Frank safe with them, Sirius realized that they had made the right decision.
As Sirius slowly regained his memories, he quickly inquired, "Where is that bastard Pettigrew? And where is Harry?"
Frank and Alice carefully explained the events that had unfolded since his capture. They told him everything—how Dumbledore had sealed the Potters' will and even managed to protect Snape despite his association with the Death Eaters. They revealed that they had been in a coma during the time Harry was placed with Lily's sister, Petunia.
Sirius found it hard to believe, but he knew Alice and Frank wouldn't lie about such matters. He then hurriedly asked, "What about Remus? He must be visiting Harry, right?"
Frank spoke up, saying, "No, we talked to him, but he remains fiercely loyal to Dumbledore. He believes that Dumbledore will take care of Harry."
Sirius felt completely dazed. He quickly questioned, "Can't we go get Harry now?"
Freya interjected, "It's not possible. While you were in Azkaban and the Longbottoms were in a coma, Dumbledore used his status as a witness to the will to not only seal it, but also become Harry's primary guardian. Taking Harry out is extremely difficult. Moreover, neither Alice nor Frank can contest Dumbledore's position as guardian due to his immense influence."
Sirius didn't know what to do. He had trusted Dumbledore before, but with all this newfound information, he realized that the man couldn't be trusted. He was also furious upon learning that Snape had escaped without consequence while he was thrown into Azkaban without even a fair trial.
Freya informed Sirius that they had received information about Dumbledore's plan to use Harry based on a prophecy involving him and Voldemort.
Sirius scoffed and asked, "A prophecy?"
Frank replied honestly, "It's true. Dumbledore himself came to Lily, James, and us to inform us about how the prophecy was linked to either Harry or Neville."
Sirius processed everything and, in a defeated tone, questioned, "Can't we do anything?"
Freya, aware of Klaus's intention to meet Harry and stay by his side, answered, "We have plans to stay close to the Dursleys, providing Harry with enough information about the magical world and warning him about Dumbledore."
Sirius felt a glimmer of hope and asked, "So we can meet him?"
Freya nodded, affirming his question.
While Davina ventured outside and spotted Alex, who was observing everything from a distance. Curiosity piqued, she approached him, her voice filled with intrigue.
"Since we are involving ourselves with Harry,Are you considering removing the horcrux from Harry's scar?" she inquired.
Alex nodded in affirmation and responded, "Indeed, I possess the ability to extract it. However, I also have the means to retain certain skills that were imbued by Voldemort, such as Parseltongue, and transfer them to Harry."
A warm smile spread across Davina's face as she expressed her approval. "That would undoubtedly be a good outcome," she acknowledged.
The prospect of removing the horcrux from Harry's scar and preserving valuable knowledge will potentially change the course of Harry's life and pave the way for a brighter future.
Alex asked, "When are Freya, Kol, and you going to the ICW to discuss bloodline issues, such as the dangers of inbreeding and the misconception about Muggleborns?"
Davina smiled and replied, "We are giving the presentation this week."
The following week, the magical world was astounded by the theories presented by Kol, Freya, and Davina. They discussed how purebloods who attempt to maintain their lineage's purity by only breeding with other pure-bloods actually encounter significant mental health problems, as evidenced by examples such as the Gaunt family. Additionally, they highlighted the rising number of squibs as an unintended consequence of such breeding practices.
Furthermore, the presentation delved into the topic of magical genes, disproving the notion that Muggleborns steal magic from others. The experiments and their conclusive results were shared with the public.
While many magical communities like France, China,America and India understood the significance of these reports.But some like British wizarding communities disregarded and suppressed the knowledge.
Although some of the noble houses like Greengrass, Bones..etc found about it.Others like Weasleys learnt from the outside sources.But still many hardcore purebloods rejected it.
While Dumbledore turned a blind eye to this like before, while he was called Champion of Muggleborns.He rarely did anything to better there lives even in Hogwarts.So he was a fake.
