After the invasion was over, the injured started tending to their wounds while others went to check the gnurx if there are any treasures within their mini storage bag. While all this we're going on, Ray went to Maria.
" Hello, Maria can I have a word with you," asked Ray.
" Sure" replied Maria before gesturing for Ray to sit down.
After taking his seat, ray went straight to the reason he visited her since I started my adventure, I have not been able to utilize any power in my sword move due to my lack of experience in sportsmanship and seeing the way you annihilated the gnurx with your moves trigger the will in me to learn from you"
Taking a look at Ray, Maria was shocked to see that Ray was asking to be taught the way of the sword.
" I would love to help you but to learn the way of the sword take years of practice" replied Maria.
" What that long, wait is there any way around it," asked Ray while looking at Maria in a pleading look.
" No, and besides it's forbidden to teach others outside the clan unless you are ready to join the clan" replied Maria.
" But we both know it won't be possible," said Ray feeling frustrated.
" I know but if you want to learn the way of the sword, I have a manual here with me that's not from the clan, but the only problem is I don't understand the procedure to mastery the technique, so you will have to figure that out yourself" replied Maria while pulling a scroll that's full of dust out of her storage ring.
" Thank you, Maria," said Ray excitedly before taking the scroll and unseal it and was just about to go through the scroll, but then a notification from the system was received.

After learning the sword art, Ray asked Maria a lot of questions that get to do with swordsmanship before waking back to Ellis's resting place only to see Ellis is back to being a meatball.
" Hey, have you been eating since I left to see Maria," asked the confused Ray?
When Ellis heard Ray's silly question he couldn't help but roll his eyes before replying to his question.
" What if I am eating, is there anything wrong with it".
" Oh, just because we stop the gnurx assault you decided to celebrate by host yourself a meal forgetting about your comrades," asked Ray.
" And who told you that the battle is over" replied Ellis with a shocking question.
" What are you talking about, we defeated their leader right," asked Ray.
" Haha, you are dumb for a person alright. Have you forgotten about what the gnurx warrior said" replied Ellis?
" He said they were ordered to take over warberry as their new territory," said Ray in a low tone.
" Exactly, so do you think they will not be attacking when they heard their armies have fallen" asked Ellis while staring at Ray.
" These, why don't we ambushed them since they will be thinking we are still battling their armies," said ray.
Ellis sigh when he heard Ray suggestion before replying
" It not that we don't want to ambush them, but the problem is we don't know how many are they and besides we are short of men".
" Which means all we have to do is wait for their next attack and the one after until they decided to give it a rest," asked Ray.
" It's the only option we have for now unless my father decided to send reinforcement" replied Ellis before goes back to his food.
" I can't wait to leave this world," said ray before sitting to rest.
" About leaving this world, are you planning to leave, or you are just joking" asked Ellis
" Who told you I was joking" replied Ray.
" Since you have decided to leave I guess you must have a clue to leave" asked Ellis.
" Not yet but if you do know something please tell me" replied Ray while Ellis.
" I don't, but if you are thinking of leaving this world then you must have to pay the holy Church a visit," said Ellis
" What is this holy church you are talking about," said ray in anticipation.
" Well they are the believers of the existence of a God that created the three realms" replied Ellis.
' They are not that different from Christians back on earth' thought ray.
" If there is anyone who has a clue about this world then it has to be the" added Ellis.
" Hmm, so Ellis this holy Church you are talking about where can I find them," asked ray while looking at Ellis.
" Well their base is located in the azure empire but to get to them, you will have to be a member or a representative of the king" replied Ray.
" I rather become a member than to be the king representative," said Ray.
" Let me give you a little advice as a friend, just forget about your revenge if you want to live," said Ellis.
" Thanks for your advice, but my stance remains the same" replied ray before getting up and left Ellis's resting place.
and all Ellis could do was to watch him leave.
