Chapter 2: Beginning of the piece part 2
As I wiped away my tears I heard Lina's voice saying "good morning Alice, you wake up very early, right".
I showed a slight expression of surprise when I heard you Lina and said "I am a goddess, I do not need to sleep".
This was the second time that Lina's lack of presence surprises me, the first was when we met in the city center.
Certainly no one else was awake at this time of day within a 1km radius. With a low you and eyes still half sleepy Lina asked me:
"But why did you tell me yesterday that you just woke up from a long sleep?"
I looked out the window with the sky still dark, Lina was standing in front of her looking out, apparently waiting for my answer.
"One day awake is not enough to make me sleepy, for me to sleep I have to stay at least a thousand years awake ... And you Lina, why are you up so early?"
Lina stopped looking out of the window and looked at me with a direct look and said:
"I woke up because I heard a noise coming from the kitchen and came to see what it was".
With a smile on my face I said "Oh it was me, I was examining your mother's medicine".
Lina hit a palm with a smile on her face and said:
"Ah, that's why the medicine is in the middle of a circle of blood on the table, hahaha ... You managed to find out what it is for".
Angelina is a very attentive and intelligent girl, but sometimes she can be quite innocent
"This circle you saw is an alchemy circle, with which I can discover".
Lina moved away from the window and sat down in a chair next to mine and asked me looking at me with an ecstatic look:

I smiled slightly and said, "That's better."
I picked up my cane that had fallen to the floor, and put the top of my thighs back on as I sat back in the chair.
"After helping your mother ... I will start teaching you, first I will analyze the medicine in order to save your mother".
Lina sat down on the chair next to me and agreed with a smile "Yes! Let's save my mom first".
I took the medicine in my hands and opened the bottle. The medicine that was inside the bottle was shining in various colors, and from the bottle a smoke of bright green shining like glitter came out.
[When an alchemy circle detects that something has come into contact with magic, it makes the place that has come into contact shine in various colors. The smoke coming out of the bottle was the visual form of the mana residue left by the user of the magic. Mana is usually invisible, but an alchemy circle can make it appear, the color represents the way you see your mana, mine for example I see it as a dark red ...].
A chloramine-smelling medicine that contains magical properties, I wonder what it is for.
After properly analyzing the remedy and making a brief reflection I decided to test the remedy ...
Lina watched me carefully holding the medicine bottle, I took the medicine bottle and poured a drop of the contents of the bottle on top of the alchemy circle.

Probably when ingested it mixes in the blood and cleans up the mana inside the body until the magic effect wears off and it disappears.
It cleans the mana from the body until it disappears, but that is when ingested in small quantities, what would happen if someone drinks a whole bottle at once?
If you ingest a large amount it will clean all the mana from your body, when all the mana of your blood runs out it will start to clean the other cells of the body until the effect ends and it disappears or explodes inside your body, both things can result in death.
I put the medicine on the table and turned to Lina, who was sitting on a chair next to me.
"I found out what your mother's illness is and how I can save her."
Lina knocked over her chair as she jumped up and gave me a hug.
Lina quickly released me and said "Now that you know what is the cure for mom's disease, we just need to have breakfast and go buy your house, right?".
"Yes" I let out with a small smile in response to her question.
Seeing a 12 year old girl wanting to save her mother fills me with happiness, I really want and I can help, but what I want I can't ... I still want to die.
