Chapter 12: World 1.11

Weeks have passed by, the exams were taken by the students smoothly.

Jiang Rui,on the other hand,already went back to School after a week of treatment.

"Man!! Exams really drained my brain.." Min Jiwoo, together with Qui Yuan and Jiang Rui, complained. They were all eating their lunches inside the School Cafeteria.

Qui Yuan looked at him before munching his food "At Least we survived.." he added

Min Jiwoo shrugged his shoulders down "I wish I would still got a passing score" he said

Qui Yuan noticed Jiang Rui's silence, he paused as he watched the male eat his food quietly at the corner of their table.

"Jiang Rui?.."

Jiang Rui stopped from chewing, his cheeks bulged. He looked at the male who called his name.

Min Jiwoo pushed his water towards Jiang Rui "How's the exam?" He asked "Drink more water, how's your wound in the head? Are you okay now?" He added

Jiang Rui lowered his head "I-It's okay.." his fingers were fidgeting the chopsticks.

Qui Yuan suddenly remembered something, he slipped down his hands to his pocket and then "Don't forget this!" He exclaimed in a lower tone as he put a medicine onto Jiang Rui's table "I've already forgotten to give you this.." he said, brushing his face

Min Jiwoo was delighted by Qui Yuan's action. "Woah! Such a reliable friend!" He quickly grabbed the male and hugged him "Can you take care of me too, my sweet darling Yuan" he said like a sweet child

Qui Yuan chuckled "Ehehe..Jiwoo...Stop squishing me..We are at the School Cafeteria" he nervously said

Min Jiwoo paused, his childish face turned to a cunning one. "Heh?..Why do you feel embarrassed?" He asked, turning his gaze to Jiang Rui.

Jiang Rui saw the closeness between the two but he remained calm, this has nothing to do with him anyway. But he can feel the tension crawling towards his body, he almost snapped his chopsticks into two.

Meanwhile, Min Jiwoo was sulking in the corner, pursing his lips out "Yuan, we've already talked about this.." he said

Qui Yuan jolted "E-Ehh?! Talk w-what?!" He replied

Min Jiwoo clicked his tongue, then he grabbed the other male's hand "You don't need to feel embarrassed, We are dating now.." he said, with an emphasizing tone.

The words caused an echo sound to Jiang Rui's sense of hearing, it was playing repeatedly. He didn't even notice that he already broke the chopsticks into two.

While redness crawled to Qui Yuan's face. Some of the students, who were eating near their table, looked at them with suspicious faces. Qui Yuan was stunned for a minute.

Yes, he agreed so that Jiang Rui will not trouble him, but after what happened to the male; he decided to stop the dating thing with Min Jiwoo.

[Oh my! This is not what I wanted!!]

DICCU: You really like making things complicated, host

'BREAKMETER RAISED TO 50%'

DICCU: See? You are progressing fast! Congratulations host! Keep it up!

Qui Yuan was so dumbfounded at the moment. He didn't expect that Min Jiwoo would say that just like that.

After a few minutes of processing everything inside his brain, he managed to look at Jiang Rui's place; the chair was empty.

He heard a chuckle "Look, Yuan..Jiang Rui seems upset right now, he quickly dashed outside the moment he heard my announcement" he said

Somehow, a feeling of discomfort crawled to Qui Yuan's nerves. It was his fault in the first place but he didn't want it to be like that. He wanted it to be in an understandable way, at least.

His feet move on their own, he dashed outside. Looking left and right, he saw Jiang Rui's back "J-Jiang Rui!! Wait!!" He yelled

His voice echoed on the busy hallway, the noises coming from the students chit chatting was deafening Jiang Rui's ears from his voice.

The next thing he knew, he followed the male at the rooftop.

Qui Yuan stopped in the doorway, catching his breath from the long stairs.

[Dang! I can't breathe..Can Qui Yuan body can't hold more physical activities?]

DICCU: If I remember, the doctor told you to don't overwork yourself from your coma

Qui Yuan leaned his back on the side of the doorway, wiping the sweat from his forehead, he was so exhausted.

"J-Jiang…..R-Rui.." he accidentally stumbled, he was going to hit the ground but another arm caught him in an instant. His eyes widened as he recognized it.

"Why did you follow me here?"

Qui Yuan looked up, Jiang Rui was tall; so his shadows were covering the noon sun. He was shading Qui Yuan's face.

The male let him go, reaching a handkerchief "Your sweat...wipe it" Jiang Rui said

Qui Yuan grabbed the folded cloth unconsciously "T-Thanks!" He exclaimed, then he started to wipe his face.

The wind from the warm noon passed between them. The two stayed silent, both only listening to the sound of air.

"Uhmm..Jiang Rui?"

The two were both leaning on the wall, there was only a little space between them. Their eyes were both fixated into nothingness.

Jiang Rui clenched his fist secretly, gritting his teeth in silence "You don't need to explain everything to me" he said

Qui Yuan was left dazed, there was something inside of him expecting something but he guessed that he micalculated it.

He lowered his head. "I'm sorry…" he replied like there was something heavy in his words.

Qui Yuan turned back "I will go back..Sorry for disturb---"

A warm embrace enveloped his body from behind, he instantly lost his words. He was so stunned that he couldn't think properly. He remained speechless like his throat dried up.

"Yuan…"

Qui Yuan snapped back. He tried to untangle Jiang Rui's arms that were wrapped around his waist but the other male only squeezed him hard.

"Jiang Rui?!" He exclaimed as he felt the male's breath tracing his neck.

Jiang Rui didn't reply, he just leaned his head on Qui Yuan's right shoulder. It was so warm that he was feeling sleepy, a comfortable spot that cleared his mind. A warmth he was longing for so long, something that he really wanted to feel but he was too shy to tell.

[Oh my! Should I let him be? He was so cute!! I'm going to melt here]

DICCU: Hold on there, host! You can do it

[I'm not joking!! Damn!]
