Chapter 3: Spin is kinda hard
It's been a few days since my reincarnation, and mastering spin is much harder than expected. Johnny Joestar could use spin only after seeing it a couple times which shows that this world is unfair af, the Joestar bloodline needs s big fat nerf. I have barely made any progress with my spin mastery, and the only proof of my progress is a hardly visible spiral on one of my crib's bars. Another problem I encountered was that since I'm in Japan, it's obvious that people here will be speaking Japanese. Unlike the fucking bullshit MC's in fanfics that somehow speak fluent Japanese after watching anime, I have to learn from scratch and unfortunately for me, Okuyasu's personality is slowing down my progress a lot. I have been trying some pronunciations but as I'm still a baby, my vocal cord hasn't been fully developed yet, which makes me need to lip sync which isn't very effective.

After 1 year of practicing spin, and practicing Japanese, I have made quite a decent amount of progress. My spin isn't that strong but with my current mastery, I could spin a bottle cap for a couple minutes. My Japanese on the other hand didn't have much progress. My pronunciation are quite good but my speaking skills are still bad since my vocal cord has recently been developed properly and I couldn't make much progress yet. Another worry for me is that I could see signs of some kind of sickness. Luckily, I studied med science in my last life, so I had a decent understanding of diseases. From the symptoms I observed from her like coughing, shivering, and I could even hear her vomiting when no one else was around her, she must have some kind of lung disease. I'm not sure if she has went to a doctor or gotten some medication, but at this point there isn't much I can do.

While I probably won't be able to save my new mother in time, unless I have a good mastery of spin, I could help the financial situation of our family. I'm not sure if the dates of inventions are the same in this world as my old world, however I could do some smart investing to gain a lot of money to help with the depression of my new father in the future, so that DIO won't become a problem for me.

3rd person POV
Okuyasu's father and brother have picked up on the signs of his mothers sickness but she insists that she's fine. His dad still dragged her to get diagnosed, and she had pneumonia. Unfortunately, they didn't have enough money for the treatment and Okuyasu guessed the only reason they could get a decent 2 story house in the first place is because of luck, but that's just his assumption. His dad has picked up multiple jobs to get enough money, and even insisted that they should sell the house but that's where the mom really got on the offensive saying that the house was more important.
1rst person POV
Besides my mom's sickness, I have begun to walk and I can proudly say that I am decent at walking. My pronunciations in Japanese are pretty good.... I think but I still don't understand a single word my family is speaking. Luckily my parents already had a test run on my older brother so they seemed to know how to teach my letters and stuff like that. So my understanding in Japanese is alright, I'd say slightly lower than beginner level.
In terms of spin, quite good improvement if I do say so for myself...which I do. I can spin things like pencils and paper fluently, but I still haven't reached the ball spin stage or spinning my own body. Regarding hamon, I have had no progress whatsoever since hamon relies on breathing and on my body. Since I'm only around 3 years old, I haven't go to exercising yet, but I think I'll start running at 5 years old, and doing more other body part workouts when I'm 7. I don't really have time to wait around since there is a serial killer around, and I'm not sure if he has a stand yet. He probably doesn't but its never hurts to be too cautious especially in Jojo's.
I am continuing to work hard on spin and on Japanese, and unfortunately my family situation isn't helping. My parents think I'm a bit odd since I already know how to use the bathroom and never cry but they don't seem too suspicious and since I haven't really gotten to intermediate phases of Japanese I still don't really understand what they are saying. Unfortunately, I don't think I can help my family right now, since I'm basically stuck at home and my parents are too busy.
I hang out with Keicho sometimes since he's stuck in the same boat as me, but our communication together sucks. He just plays with toy foot soldiers and airplanes which is ironic because of his future stand.
