Chapter 54: Chapter 53: To Slaughter City

"...I have come to take you." Nian Zhen said. He left out some things purposely to make Huo Wu flustered.
"..C-Come to t-take...m-me" Huo Wu trembled as the blush deepened. Seeing this, Nian Zhen could barely hold back his laughter.
"...W-Why are you smiling." Huo Wu said. She could not help but stiffen up when she saw Nian Zhen smiling. Well, she probably misunderstood.
"Well, by saying I have come to take you I meant to get you a domain and make you stronger. What did you understand?" Nian Zhen said teasingly.
"N-Nothing." Huo Wu said, turning her face away from Nian Zhen. Even if Nian Zhen has reduced his face value to some extent, the temperament he gives off completely cuts that out, causing Huo Wu to not be able to look directly at him.
"Where are you taking..?" Huo Wu said shyly.
"Hmm. You must know what domain is right? Well, even if you don't I will explain it as we go our way. We are heading to slaughter city. If you can temper yourself then you will become much stronger. So, get ready. We will be going tomorrow morning. You will come, won't you?" Nian Zhen said with a smile.
"Yes.." Huo Wu nodded shyly. Seeing this Nian Zhen kissed her again.

The next morning,
Nian Zhen got up from Huo Wu's bed as he found that Huo Wu had already started to prepare. Nothing happened last night except for some kisses and hugs. The two just cuddled.
"Are you ready?" Nian Zhen asked Huo Wu.
"Yes. Let's go." Huo Wu nodded.
"Hmm. Go inform your teachers and friends. I will be waiting outside for you." Nian Zhen said, patting Huo Wu's head as he went out of the room.

Outside Blazing Academy,
"W-W-What the hell is that beast up there!?" Several shouts of alarm sounded as they looked at Nian Zhen's pet, Xian Lei. (AN: Basically Mega Shiny Rayquaza but bigger, scarier and better)
"Are we under attack!? Call the elder!! Fast!!" Some shouted in panic, some admired the beast, some started to pray to survive.
"Don't shout!! That thing is our guest's pet. It won't attack us." Huo Wushuang's loud voice immediately quieted the quartet.
At this moment, Nian Zhen fell from his Xian Lei stop and landed beside Huo Wushuang. Not long after, Huo Wu came only to be shocked by the scene she saw.
Immediately after that Huo Wu ended up blushing. Well, who won't. She was going away with Nian Zhen all alone in front of so many disciples and students. Obviously she will be shy when she thinks what others will understand from this situation. Though, she is just overthinking.
Right now, everyone is in no mood to think about the relation between the two. All are captivated by Nian Zhen's beast that is quietly hovering in the sky. Reaching out his hand, Nian Zhen smiled at Huo Wu.
"Let's Go." Nian Zhen said to the blushing Huo Wu. Even though she was arrogant and filled with pride before, right now she has become a shy little girl.
"How much did I influence her?" Nian Zhen smiled bitterly as he thought this. Firmly grasping Nian Zhen's hand, Huo Wu forgot how shameless Nian Zhen was. As soon as Huo Wu gave her hand, Nian Zhen pulled her to himself and carried her in the standard princess hug.
"!!!?" Huo Wu became frightened from this sudden turn of events. Looking at Nian Zhen, who was now wearing a mask she could not help but blush deeper. Remembering last night's drama.
Nian Zhen at first was quite sincere, did not do anything as Huo Wu said she was not ready. But, as the night went deeper, this bastard's hand became more and more inobedient. Huo Wu lost count of Nian Zhen's relentless pinching and teasing.
But, after so many years, last night she was able to sleep in a warm and gentle environment causing her to sleep peacefully after a long time. Now, being carried by Nian Zhen all this thought appeared in her heart.
She did not even notice when she had arrived at the top of Xian Lei. Only after getting laid down on Xian Lei's head did she come back to her senses.
"Ah…" Huo Wu let out a small gasp. Remembering all those thoughts again caused her to blush.
"What is wrong with you? Your face has been red since last night? Feverish?" Nian Zhen asked, taking off his mask and touching Huo Wu's forehead with his own, he pretended to check Huo Wu's fever.
Seeing the charming face so close to her face, Huo Wu's mind started to go blank. Seeing this Nian Zhen laughed as he patted Huo Wu's head.
"Xian Lei, go." Nian Zhen said, as he covered Huo Wu in a layer of spiritual barrier in order to let her keep balance and not be affected by the strong wind as Xian Lei flies at an extremely high speed.
A huge roar was issued from Xian Lei's mouth as he flashed at an extremely high speed towards the town which contained the gateway to Slaughter City.
There were many places from where you could access the slaughter city after you have become the God of Slaughter, but as Huo Wu was a newbie, Nian Zhen felt that this way will be much more easier and efficient.
After Blazing Academy was not visible anymore, Xian Lei slowed down following Nian Zhen's instructions. Slowly flying on top of a lush green forest, Nian Zhen looked at the dazed Huo Wu. Sitting down next to her, Nian Zhen shook his hand in front of Huo Wu's eyes.
"Ah...Oh, Sorry. This just amazed me." Huo Wu said with admiration towards Xian Lei.
"Hmm. Now, let's get back to the topic. Slaughter City is a place where there are no laws. It is a place where murder, rape, stealing and all sorts of criminal activities occur. As long as you have the ability, you can do whatever you want. In the city all spirit master abilities are ineffective. To survive one must use their own physical strength and instinct. Though Spirit power can be used as a source of strength. Now, you must remember that you should not show any mercy towards anyone in the Slaughter City." Nian Zhen said solemnly.
No matter how strong he is, he will not interfere in the business of Huo Wu. If one wants to be stronger, they must rely on their own strength. External help is of no use in such areas. Even though Slaughter City was nothing to him, for Huo Wu it may be one hell of a ride.
"Later, most things will be revealed on their own. I will be in the slaughter city with you but I won't help you unless you really need me. Don't blame me for this, I am doing this for your own good." Nian Zhen sighed as he looked straight into Huo Wu's dazed eyes.
"Hmm." Huo Wu nodded. Listening to Nian Zhen explaining many things about Slaughter City, she slightly understood what kind of place she was going. But, without experiencing it first, she did not understand all of it.
"Now, don't feel pressured. As long as the high level staff of the Slaughter City do not attack you, you will be fine. There is even a possibility of killing a Titled Douluo there. But, they will still have their spirit power so don't be too arrogant." Nian Zhen reminded me again.
Even if Huo Wu has changed slightly, some things cannot be changed in just a few months. It may take years and even decades.
"...Okay." Huo Wu nodded continuously. After accessing all this information, she leaned on Nian Zhen's shoulder as she prepared herself for what was to come.

Night, Outskirts of a certain town.
At a certain cave, Nian Zhen was seen roasting the meat of a rhino type spirit beast that he killed after arriving here. Beside him, Huo Wu looked at the rhino who was being roasted and could not help but look at Nian Zhen in terror.
How old was this rhino? Obviously more than 40,000 and Nian Zhen killed it in a single punch. How could Huo Wu not be shocked?
"Hmm? What happened?" Nian Zhen asked with a smile.
"N-Nothing." Huo Wu shook her head, turning away from Nian Zhen.
This cave was the same cave Nian Zhen rested when he just came out of the Slaughter City. As it was hidden deeply, Nian Zhen did not have to worry about outsiders ruining this calm and warm environment.
After the Rhino was roasted perfectly, Nian Zhen took out some spices that he created himself from the help of Enron and sprinkled it on the Rhino meat. Taking out a bottle filled with wine, Nian Zhen took a sip from it.
"Good Wine!" Nian Zhen said. Seeing this, Huo Wu also felt the urge of drinking it. Seeing this Nian Zhen handed the bottle to her with a mysterious smile. Failing to notice the smile, Huo Wu took a sip from the bottle only to spit it out.
"Hahaha." Nian Zhen laughed from the side. Obviously she would spit it out. The wine contained over the top amount of Alcohol. And this was specifically made to suit his tastes of a spirit beast. Taking back the bottle from Huo Wu, Nian Zhen put it down and started cutting the meat.
A delicious smell and fragrance spread around the cave. As a countermeasure Nian Zhen had already spread a barrier to close off all sorts of things from inside the barrier.
Looking at the juicy and tender meat in front of her, Huo Wu could not help but gulp down. Saliva was already dripping from her mouth as she looked at Nian Zhen with huge expectation.
Seeing this expression on Huo Wu's face, Nian Zhen smiled bitterly as he handed out a piece of Rhino Leg to Huo Wu. The leg was 50 cm long with large chunks of meat. Seeing this huge leg, Huo Wu gulped down her saliva as she slowly took a bite off from the leg. A rich flavor of meat and spice permeated throughout her mouth. Just a small bite made her mouth full from all those different juices and flavors.
Looking at the puffed out cheeks of Huo Wu, Nian Zhen smiled as he took out another leg for himself and savored it in big bites. The cave was filled with the smell of delicious meat and the sound of chewing as the two savored the meal.
After eating a full leg, Huo Wu could not eat anymore. Looking at Nian Zhen she opened her mouth in horror. Nian Zhen had already finished three of the remaining legs and was now savoring whatever remained of the beast. Beside him were 4 empty wine bottles.
In less than 30 minutes, the entire body of the beast was cleaned. Only bones of the poor beast remained now. Looking at Nian Zhen he was satisfyingly stroking his stomach. While Huo Wu on the side was dazed while thinking how big Nian Zhen's appetite was. That was a rhino which was more than 5m tall and was extremely fat.
"Hoo...That was a nice meal." Nian Zhen said as he smiled at the shocked Huo Wu. Don't underestimate the appetite of Dragons.
