The next day, Chai ended up in the hospital because the night before she got attacked in her own house. The attacker threatened her and ask question about the murder. The attacker had a deep voice, manly like. He also had a gun. While he was pointing the gun at her he said "what did you know about that girl, huh?!" Chai said "I am not going to tell you anything!" Then he throwed her a punch right in her face and she bleed out. He asked her again "what do you know about the murder?!" She replied "I am still not going to tell you about the murder! It is classified" and Chai spited to his face. Then he shot Chai right in the chest. The detective, Madee went to Chai's house right after the attacker left and saw her laying on the ground. She was bleeding heavily. Madee saw her and called the ambulance and Chai was rushed to the Emergency Room (ER). Chai was in critical condition, Madee asked the doctor when she will wake up. The doctor said she will wake up in two days or tomorrow, the doctor added "she was very lucky to survive that bullet because it hit her right in the chest but it almost hit one of her important organs, so she is very lucky" Detective Madee said "really? Wow." The next day came and Chai woke up. She saw Detective Madee sitting next to her, sleeping. She woke Madee up she said "Madee wake up, what am I doing in the hospital?" Detective Madee woke up and said "huh? Oh, you got shot last night in your house, I saw you lying on the ground and I saw blood so I called the ambulance" Chai's memory of last night came back and she said "oh yea, about last night…...the attacker had a deep voice, manly like" Madee said "really then the attacker was a man, but who?" Chai said "I don't know but he asked me about the murder" Madee said "wait really? Why?" Chai said "I don't know, he asked me as if he knows the victim and murderer" Then Chai and Madee looks in each other's eye. There was a fling between the two of them. Chai looks away quickly. Detective Madee smiles and said "your eyes look beautiful, you know Doctor" Chai looks away and blushed. She said "your too much". Three days later, Doctor Chai was discharge. She called the detective to fetch her from the hospital, then her intern 'Art' ask "do you need a ride, doc? Cause I can send you" Chai said "no need my ride is already here". Art saw the detective's car in a confused face saying "since when did Doctor Chai and Detective Madee were close?". Doctor Chai went into the detective's car and the detective drove her home. While on their way home Chai and the detective had a proper introduction and conversation with each other. The detective started talking first she said "I am Madee, Detective Madee. Me and my family are quite private." Chai answered "I am Chaloem Chai, I am a doctor in forensic medicine and I hate people that wants to be my friend but they have some secrets." Detective Madee still looked calm and she said "I can't tell you about my secret unless you want to be my wife." Chai stares at her madly and answered "First things first, I don't want to be your wife, second things second not only wives know their husband or wife's secret friends too you know." Madee smirks and says "I know." Chai turns and says "look at where you are driving." Madee answered "ok….Ok". A few moments later, they reached Doctor Chai's house. Chai was still scared that the attacker would come again to hurt her and she wanted to ask Detective Madee to sleep there with her but she might tease her about that matter. As soon as Doctor Chai wanted to ask the detective, the detective ask her if she can sleep at her place for the night in case the attacker comes back. Chai was quite surprised that the detective asked her first and she said "uh….sure you" and the detective quickly cuts the doctor's words and said "alright then I'll sleep on the couch". That night Doctor Chai saw a figure outside of her room window. She ran to the living room and wake Madee up. Chai said "Madee, I think the attacker is outside my room." Madee went to Chai's room and looked outside the doctor's window but no one was outside there. Madee said "Nobody is here Chai." Chai replied "but…but I saw a man's figure outside, I really saw it." The detective replied "Really, well maybe it was that big tree outside there." Chai looked outside her window and said "Maybe…." Madee said "Be honest with me, did you just wake me up because you saw a strange figure outside your window or you just wanted me here with you" Chai replied "I woke you up because I saw a strange figure outside my window of course." Madee said "ok, if you are worried that the attacker would come back again. I think you should stay at my house with me" Chai replied "ok, I agree." Then Doctor Chai and Detective Madee went to the detective's house. When they reached Madee's house, Chai was surprised when she saw the house cause it was quite big and it was also very beautiful. Then the detective asked her "do you like? Cause your making that face when you like something" Chai said "it's decent" The detective just a smirk. When Doctor Chai went in the house, she was very surprised cause the interior design was very beautiful especially when she saw the fire place. The detective asked her "I see you do like my house don't you" Chai said "yes….yes I do" and the detective smiles.
