Chapter 2: Chapter 2.
The next morning, I woke up not knowing where I was. My head was throbbing. Based on the modern wallpaper, plain boring sheets, and a musty scent, I assumed I was in a hotel room. I rolled over, the silky sheets sliding across my skin, to find a note on the bedside table.
Hey Sunshine,
I thought you'd want to stay here for the night since you can't be at home. There are clothes for you in the bathroom. Your father and Becca are safe. They are a few rooms down. You passed out before we got to the hotel, so I carried you upstairs and had Becca put you to bed. Breakfast will be served in the lobby around nine. I will explain everything. See you then.

Not knowing what to think, I decided to get around for the day. I needed to talk to Becca. I went to the bathroom to shower, and I found not only one, but three different choices of outfits to wear. The outfits were clearly of top caliber. These brands were not worn by the general public. I thought we had money. Whoever this "J" guy is, he is clearly loaded with cash.
As I got out of the shower, I was startled to hear my phone ring as loud as it did. I must have left my ringer on high volume to hear it at the party. Thankfully, Becca called me before I could call her. "J where are you" she practically screamed into the phone. "Um.. I'm not sure what the room number is, but the note here says a few rooms down…" I said. "Stand outside your door" said Becca, "B- I.." "Just do it!" Becca insisted. So I quickly threw on one of the outfits not realizing I put my pants on backwards and stood outside my doorway.
"B, I'm outside". I said, anxiously waiting to see if she was there. I felt a hot breath cross my neck, startled, I turned around and saw my best friend. "B you nearly killed me!" I said exasperated. "Well at least it was me and not some creep". "Come inside, you have to see something," I said as I motioned Becca inside.
"You are never going to believe this", I said as I walked towards the bathroom. "There," I said as I pointed to the note by the bathroom. Becca scanned the note, "J, I don't know who this guy is, but Luka took me to my room…" Becca said. "Maybe Luka knows, do you know where he stayed?" I said. "He was a few rooms down from mine, but maybe we'll see him at breakfast" said Becca. It was getting close to nine, so Becca and I got dressed, and headed down to the lobby.
As we got into the elevator, two very attractive guys were already in it. "Going down?" Said the one, "Yes, we are" I said shakily. Whispering, I said to Becca "Um... who is this guy?". "J chill out, I haven't seen anyone this hot since, well, I don't know when". Said Becca. As the elevator got to the lobby, Becca and I stumbled out, mesmerized by the two men in the elevator. We headed to the breakfast counter and noticed that the men were following us. "Becca, they are still there... They are right behind us…" I said. "Chill J act normal, they are just regular guys, walking to get breakfast like any other person in the morning" said Becca. By the time we went to the counter, ordered our breakfast, and sat at a booth. Just then, we saw Luka and my father walking towards us.
"Hey we're over here!" I said waving. "Good morning kiddos," said my father. "How did you sleep?". "Pretty well, I don't remember going to bed" I said. "Well, I can explain that for you" said a deep, yet familiar voice. I turned my head around to see one of the most attractive men I've ever seen in my life. His deep brown hair, perfect sun kissed skin, gorgeous blue eyes, and his muscular figure would not be missed by the average bystander. Then I realized, this was the man who drug me out of my house. The same man who drove me to the hotel. And the same man who clearly left me the letter. "My name is Jesse Marinos," said the man. "I own this hotel, and I am a friend of your fathers" said Jesse. "I've come to make an offer for you, Jenny Avery".
