Chapter 11: Chap 11 New Family
Lucien POV
What a coincidence. I did not expect Elijah to know Clive at all. I couldn't help but notice how Eli had softened at the sight of Clive. He must really like Clive a lot for him to let down his guard a bit. I was lost in thought when I felt the cat squirm and jump from my arms and run to Decker. Decker picked up the cat and apologized for dropping him.
I couldn't help but feel a bit envious at the sight. A hand dropped on my shoulder and squeezed it. Elijah was aware of my mood. I looked up and smiled at him showing that I will be okay. A loud grumble echoed. I looked back at Elijah but he shook his head. A chuckle sounded and we looked to see Decker blushing and Clive had an amused look on his face.
I couldn't help but give a chuckle at the sight of Decker's cute face. "Would you like to have breakfast with us ? Something tells me that Lucien would like to get to know you guys better." I could kiss Elijah for asking them. This would help me in getting to know them as well as my secret plan to matchmake them together. Decker turned and gave an expectant look to Clive. Clive was looking at him and then turned around to us. "Sure. We would like that". With that, we made our way to the mansion. Decker and I went ahead of the two and we were talking about all kinds of things. As we reached the house, we made our way to the room and had a great time. It felt like home.
Elijah and Clive were chatting about business and showbiz while I was playing with Decker and Cruz. I was happy since I was reborn. Elijah looked over to me and smiled. I smiled back. I decided right here and now, Clive and Decker will be our new family. I will protect them for as long as I can.
