Now that we got it all out of the way, I cuddled with Elijah a little while longer. We both basked in each other's warmth as we processed the information and emotions that we immersed ourselves in a while ago. I couldn't help but be surprised at how calmly Elijah was taking in all the information. Had it been anyone else, they would have run for the hills or called me crazy and put me in a mental asylum. It made me feel happy at the fact that Elijah put his trust in me wholeheartedly. I thanked to the gods above for giving me the chance to repair my relationship with my brother.
A hand ruffled my head. "Whatcha thinking in that brain of yours, sonny ?" Elijah commented in his Texan accent which made me burst into peals of laughter. Elijah looked smug as if he achieved what he set out to do so.
Then, Elijah turned serious and got out of the sofa bed. I sat up and saw him go to the desk and pick up a bunch of papers. It is the same bunch of papers that he was holding on to when I woke up. He came back to the sofa and gave it to me. "Read this and then we shall talk." he said.
I took the papers from and looked through it. My mind was floored at the information present in front of me. We are the children of the main branch of the Fabbri Clan. Andre Fabbri is at the top of his game. He reminds me of Elijah of so much. Our mom, Ciana Agosti is the World No.1 Supermodel and the Runway Queen. The worst part is that they are alive and looking for us.
Anger. I could only feel anger.
I am mad at Leon and Ilya Fabbri. They dare to use us. They shamelessly told us our parents were dead while hoping that we will never know.
A pair of hands covered my hands. I looked up to see Elijah squeezing my hands in comfort and understanding. My anger cooled immediately. I knew that he was holding back his rage and will not spare anyone.
I looked back at the papers to see information on Kain. He was definitely at Estrela Academy studying Acting with business as a minor. He was already dating Max Silver.
Those two names increased the hatred I have for them. They will pay for everything they did with blood.
"I know that you have your past memories about everything they did but I have a few conditions before you continue on your path of revenge." Elijah spoke up. I was surprised that he was willing to let me continue on my plans of revenge. I nodded.
"First, you will keep in the loop. I refuse to let you do anything without my knowledge.
Second, we will make sure that Kain will suffer. I will promise you this.
Third, NO UNSPOKEN RULES.
Fourth, Self defense classes are a must.
Fifth, No murder.
Lastly, Always know that I am on your side."
As Elijah listed out the conditions, I felt that he was reasonable. "Okay, in turn I have a few requests for you." Elijah nodded, showing his willingness in listening to me.
"First, I will always listen to you. I will be your rock and sound board for anything you wish for.
Second, you will not pretend in front of me.
Third, keep eyes on our parents. I have a feeling that we will find out a lot of information.
Fourth, NO UNSPOKEN RULES
Fifth, You should learn self defense as well.
Lastly, I will not leave you unless circumstances force me to do so." I said.
Elijah nodded.
"Now, that is out of the way. I have to ask Eli." Elijah looked at me and quirked an eyebrow in response. I let out a mischievous smiles which Elijah didn't see. "So you like Clive. That is good because I want him as my brother-in-law and Decker as my cute nephew." I said in a sing-song voice.
What I saw next made me laugh out loud.
Elijah's face turned bright red and he was looking shy. He looked so cute. He turned to me. " One day, you are definitely going to pay for this. " he mock threatened me.
"I look forward to it. In fact, we should make plans to see how you can try and woo Clive." I said. Elijah put his papers down, rolled up his sleeves and turned to me. "You better start running." he warned.
I knew that he was serious, so I bolted from the sofa and ran out of the door with Elijah right behind me. I flew down the hallway surprising the servants. They noticed Elijah chasing after me playfully and began to laugh. I turned around the corner to sneak into the kitchen and then sped out into the garden. He caught up to me and tackled me down to the ground. I shrieked and he laughed. We wrestled in the dirt looking dirty and muddy.
We finally lay down on the grass looking up to see the pink and orange tinged sky. I smiled. I haven't felt this happy in so long. Elijah also looked happy and peaceful.
"Lucien, we will go back to our family triumphant and powerful." he said
"Yes, we will. We will make sure that no one ever harms us and our loved ones again." I replied back.
" I have to ask though, are you sure that you still don't love Valentino ?" I knew that he was not sure whether I truly gave up on my feelings.
" I have given up on him for good. I will never love him in this lifetime. He refused to believe me. That is proof enough." I replied coldly.
Elijah nodded. We just continued to lie down basking in the comfortable silence when suddenly Denver appeared above us.
He looked totally amused at us. " While I hate to interrupt, I bring good news and bad news." he said.
We just looked at him. He continued. "The good news is that your biological parents will be moving to City Daire from Greece." Joy filled us up. I could see the happiness in Elijah's eyes , however I sensed a but. "The bad news is that they hate the Second branch. It will be hard to get close to them."
That hurts. Elijah and I felt pain. We knew that it was going to be hard but we didn't expect that they would hate us. Something did not seem right. "Denver, who have they been promoting as their child ?" I asked.
Denver looked like he didn't want to tell. Elijah opened his mouth "They have been promoting Kain as their son to high society."
Bastards. Screw us over and expect us to clean up after them.
"We need to make plans and figure out to screw them over. After dinner, my study boys." We nodded.
Now that everything between me and Elijah is sorted, it is time to fight back for what is ours. Just you wait, pretentious bastards, revenge is coming.
However, what I did not know was that a change was coming that would bring us happiness of a lifetime.
