Chapter 534: Megan was Kidnapped

After finding out who Damien Roald really is, Nora was not surprised that he knew what was going on around her and even the people around her. 

Nora didn't respond to that. Instead, she just raised her brow to indicate that she was listening. So, Damien continued, "I have my men inside the syndicate that will inform me of Bowie's every move,"

Her mother was right, Nora thought to herself. Damien is already in control of Belladonna Syndicate without Bowie Faulkner knowing. He must be really good to be able to do that. But Nora would die first before she let Damien know that. 

Without showing any emotions, Nora asked, "How will I know that I can trust you?"

At her words, Damien turned serious. "I know it would take time for you to trust me again but at least trust that I will not let anything happen to you," He said as he stared intently at Nora. He noticed her subtly glancing over his shoulder as if trying to avoid his gaze.
