Chapter 2: How could he be this handsome!
Wang Yi Yi took the train home, and skipped her daily drama time.
She takes out her journal, and takes out the photo that's stuck inside.
"That's why I thought he looks so familiar. It's him."
The more she looks at the picture, the more she doesn't understand.
"I never knew a chubby kid from elementary could become this handsome. Time can really change a person."
Wang Yi Yi then remembers that she was holding his hand the whole time before.
"OMG! Wang Yi Yi, how could you do this. How come you couldn't hold on to your hand." She started to blame on herself, and how embarrassing it was.
"Wang Yi Yi, stop screaming!" her sister came to her room and gave her a stare.
The whole night, Wang Yi Yi couldn't fall asleep.
"Bai Luo Chuan, what did you eat to become this handsome," as Wang Yi Yi couldn't stop thinking about him.
The next day, Wang Yi Yi slept past her alarm. She quickly grabs something to wear and heads out the door.
"It's only the second day, and you can't do your job?" as the supervisor saids and looks at Yi Yi.
Today morning, Yi Yi was supposed to give the photos in but she couldn't find her USB anywhere.
"Mr. Chen, give me two hours.I'll get the photos to you."
"Don't say I didn't give you a chance. Only two hours, and if I don't see it by then, you can leave."
Yi Yi quickly gets to work, and fastens her pace with her fingers and eyes.
"Boss, Miss. Wang is given two hours to get the photos edited. Should we give the usb back to Miss Wang?" as Secretary Li asks Bai Luo Chuan.
Bai Luo Chuan holds on the usb, and a smile appears on his face.
"Wait a little longer."
Secretary Li didn't ask why because whatever his boss does, there's always a reason behind it.
Even though Yi Yi said she'll finish in two hours, it's impossible.
Two hours she can't finish everything in this short amount of time. No matter how fast her pace is, Yi Yi couldn't finish.
"Is this really my last day?" as she saids to herself.
She remembers that her past working place would go bankrupt the next day after she joins. But this time, she will get fired on her second day.
The phone rings, and it's Mr. Chen, her supervisor.
"Yi Yi, someone found your usb and handed it to me already. Next time be more careful…."
She couldn't believe what she just heard. She was about to pack her things and leave today, but at that last minute someone found her usb and gave it to her supervisor.
"Who is that person?" as she wonders. "If I found who that person is, I definitely have to buy that person food," as she said to herself.
The studio door then opens, and a young man walks in.
"May I help you?" as Yi Yi asks.
"Hi, you must be Miss. Wang. I'm your new assistant from now on." He takes off his cap, and puts his hand out.
"I'm Qin Hao."
Wang Yi Yi is only 25 years old. Not old but not young. But everytime she sees someone younger than her, she'll have this feeling of staring at them.
"Miss. Wang?" as Qin Hao looks at her with his hand still out.
"I'm sorry, and please call me Yi Yi." She shakes his hand with a smile.
"How old are you?" as Yi Yi asks him.
"21."
Yi Yi's eyes wide open. "21? Wow, so you're still in college?"
Qin Hao nods.
"Majoring in photography?" as Yi Yi asks.
"No, I'm majoring in Art. But photography is my hobby. My grandpa is a photographer, so I learned it from him."
Yi Yi nods with a smile. "That's great. We need people who love photography from the heart."
After a short introduction, they went straight to work.
But today wasn't as busy as yesterday. Only a few model shoots, and their day ended early.
"Is it gonna be like this everyday?" as Qin Hao asks.
Yi Yi shooks her head, and she drinks her water.
"You didn't come yesterday and you don't know. Yesterday, I felt like I was in war. It was my first day too. So, the workload today is just normal out of the normal." Yi Yi saids and then gives him a pat on the shoulder.
After packing their stuff, Qin Hao went first since he had night class.
The moment she walks out the building, her stomach starts to growl.
She hasn't had anything this morning, and now she's very hungry.
"One day of fast food won't hurt right?" as she starts to crave for fried chicken.
She walked over to the nearest KFC, and ordered her meal. This was the most delicious meal that she's eaten this past month.
Wang Yi Yi walked out of KFC, and saw a flyer saying "ANNUAL WINTER PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST IS BACK!!!"
She remembers exactly two years ago. She joined this contest, but at last she lost because someone stole her idea. No matter what she said, the judges didn't trust her.
That person was exactly her EX.
Yi Yi scratches her head, and then turns her head. She doesn't care about these contests anymore. RIght now the only thing she has to worry about is not to lose her current job.
"What was she looking at?" as Bai Luo Chuan who's sitting inside the car.
Secretary Lin looks closely, and replies "It's the annual winter photography contest."
"Interesting."
