Chapter 11: Streaming, what's that?
"Oihh...What did you bring me here Suisei?" With a dissatisfied voice, Anemachi questioned Suisei's motive. "You know that I'm not planning to come back anytime soon."
Dragged alone by Suisei without any of her consent, Anemachi had arrived at a familiar place that she didn't think she would see again, a single storey house design in classical Japanese building style on a street that she had gone through countless times.
"Sigh...I will get going first." Feet starting to move, Anemachi doesn't plan to entertain the idea of returning back. Anemachi is however confronted with Suisei's firm face while her hand is being hold tight
"Trust me alright? I'm not asking you to come back, mom isn't at home now so relax."
"But...I'm not-" Yet the face of Suisei when hearing that she is going to leave hit a certain soft spot inside Anemachi's heart. Suisei's face give off a feeling of sadness, loneliness, and perhaps, disappointment.
"Really...? You're not coming in?"
Damn it, what did you expect from me if you showed that kind of face to me.
"...Alright, just don't try anything funny."
"Ah! O-of course I won't, teehee!"
Gathering her thoughts and giving off a sigh, Anemachi stares at the house before her, her old home to be exact.
'Who knew going back home could raise such anxiety?' Thinking to herself, Anemachi finds it hard for her to take a step forward, as if her whole body just becomes frozen. Heart pounding fast, a certain fear is stopping her to revisit the home she had left for quite some time. A fear that is hard to explain.
"Why are you waiting outside? Come in already." But Suisei clearly didn't notice Anemachi's feelings. Filled with happiness from Anemachi's answer, she grabs hold of Anemachi's small hand without hesitation as she rushes home for the scheduled stream.
Greeted by the smell of oak wood and the aroma of a certain fragrance that Anemachi isn't quite sure of, most probably from some candle that Mom loves to use, the living room of their entered into her eyes. The Television at the usual spot, a simple sofa facing it with some small snack on the table, mom's plant at the corner, cozy and heartwarming her house is.
"Here here, Onechan hurry!" Suisei again hurries Anemachi this time into Suisei's room, and without delay begins setting up her PC to be ready for streaming.
On the monitor multiple screens begin to pop up one by one through Suisei's control. Anemachi isn't familiar with streaming, but from the text display it can be easily identified that all of them are streaming related things.
"Why did you drag me here anyway...Not like I can help you in streaming." Boringly waiting for Suisei to set up the stream, Anemachi proceeds to sit on Suisei's bed without hesitation. "Jeez, I could never understand what you are thinking in your mind despite all these years."
"Just shut up and follow me alright?" And with a few more minutes of tingling with her computer, Suisei finally drags out an interface that will display her character model.
Of course, it's the one that Anemachi has given to her as a birthday gift.
"Alright, come here Onechan." Waving her hand, Suisei signals Anemachi to come over, a free chair already appears beside Suisei somehow. "Hurry, we are late already."
And without much questions Anemachi comes forward silently and sit on the chair, wanting to see what Suisei is up to again.
To be honest, she just wants to go back home and rest for the whole day really, playing some gacha games and watchs some drama that she hasn't yet caught up with.
But Anemachi did realize something while sitting beside Suisei.
"Oh, you are using the new model huh Suisei. How is it? Does it suit you?" The model tracking Suisei's movement, Anemachi personally likes the design very much. "I don't know what kind of style you were going for, so I just ask the sensei to redesign it while retaining the original feel."
"The sensei originally wanted to go for a more fantasy setting, but didn't think it suits you, so it ended up looking like this."
"Ah, yes, I like it a lot, really." Still facing the monitor, Suisei however has a bright smile on her face, clearly happy for the gift from Anemachi. "The design, the art, the rigging, everything is perfect for me."
"I see, glad you like it then." Hearing Suisei's word Anemachi's heart becomes at ease, knowing that the money she spends didn't go to waste.
'Even though I managed to get a discount from that woman, it still cost me a fortune...At least Suisei is happy I guess.' Still remembering the pain when she looks at her bank account, Anemachi sometimes doubts the reasoning behind her action. 'God, I should have used that money for myself, who knows living by yourself is that hard after all.'
And as Anemachi space out in her thoughts, Suisei has already started her streaming.
"Afternoonnnn everyone!" With a much more energetic voice, Suisei facing the screen begins her live streaming now. "Sorry about the delay and all, I had to settle some things at home so hope that I didn't keep you waiting!"
Besides Suisei Anemachi watches the monitor silently. The view count of Suisei has significantly increased compared to a week ago and skyrocket to a whooping 150 viewer count as compared to the previous 70+. Most probably the result of Suisei's new model attracting more newcomers to her channel.
Not much of a surprise to be honest, humans like to look at pretty stuff after all than to look at a low resolution and less detailed self made model.
The chat box is now filled with messages greeting Suisei and saying that it's alright, meanwhile some asked what Suisei has been up to just now.
"Ahaha, really sorry about it, but I promise the wait will be worth it though." Laughing it off, Suisei begins to interact with the chat and just talks about random topics for a while which Anemachi isn't really interested in.
She gets to see Suisei every day, so she will say that she knows Suisei real self quite well.
"Alright, time to get to the real deal for today!" Energetic, Suisei moves her head around and proceeds to the main topic today. "Today we were gonna play some games originally, but I ended up scrapping the idea in favor of something else..."
"Let's welcome my onechan to the stream as a guest today!" Clapping her hand rapidly, Suisei turns her eyes towards Anemachi who is in complete disarray now. "Onechan won't you introduce yourself to them?"
Anemachi however didn't entertain Suisei's idea, immediately grabbing Suisei to the side and whispering into her ears.
"What the heck are you thinking!? I can't deal with this kind of thing, you know it!" Whispering with as little sound as she can, Anemachi didn't expect that Suisei would involve herself in the stream. "At least give me a heads up or something, don't just put me out in the spotlight!"
"Just act like the usual you and you will be fine, trust me." Suisei of course has expected this kind of reaction. Mischievous smile on her face, watching Anemachi panicking is quite fun indeed.
"Tch." Biting her teeth, Anemachi can't back up now. Suisei has already said the word, and she can't bring herself to shame Suisei on stream. Thus taking in a deep breath, she introduces herself formally.
"E-eto, I'm Mitsuko's Onechan, nice to meet you all." Slightly stuttering, Anemachi tries her best to calm herself while speaking. She hasn't been good with people, but at least she won't have to see them in real life.

"Hehe, since she was free today I invited her to join me during a stream. Oh and she is just as surprised as you all, I didn't tell her anything about this beforehand." Explaining some basic background, Suisei still with her big grin feels happy introducing Anemachi to her viewers. "She is still quite nervous now, I can see her shaking from the fear."
"Oih! Don't go making up stuff! I might be nervous but not to that degree!" Suisei's framing didn't sit well with Anemachi though, flustered with a red cheek she rebuked Suisei's statement. "Anyone will be nervous when you are talking in front of so many people!"
"Alright alright, don't worry too much." Dismissing Anemachi's worry, Suisei proceeds to lead the flow of the streaming.
'But Onechan's blushing face...Is so cute.' The face of Anemachi is printed in Suisei's mind. Suisei although looks normal now heart is actually beating fast from Anemachi cuteness. 'God I need to stay calm, I can't let her know about my reaction.'
"A-ahem, so we will be answering some questions together from the marshmallow. You can submit it now in the meantime, but don't go ask some weird question alright?" And with that, Suisei opens up some questions that she has prepared beforehand, originally for another stream. "Onechan, are you ready for it?"
"Ahaha...Y-yeah, alright."
'Not like I have a choice anyway...' Taking a deep breath, Anemachi braces for the upcoming question.
This is the first time she is actually joining in a stream.

A_stray_kat I concede! I haven't update for 2 weeks, why throw powerstone at me ahhhhhh, don't make me feel bad.
Anyway thanks for it, I will (hopefully) return to updating two chapter per week now. Throw your powerstone else where to more diligent author, not me. (Aiming gun)
