Chapter 3: CHAPTER 3: Too Adorable
The three maids attending to Snow looked at him with expressions that seem to be holding back, silence filled the room they are currently at and the one that broke that silence was the Head Maid Aria
"*cough! * Mary, start tidying up the Young Master, Barnaby you will prepare the clothes the Young Master will wear for this day" the Head Maid ordered which the two immediately obeyed
I was carried by Mary to another luxurious room that seems like a bathroom, she started preparing the mini bathtub while she laid me down at a soft cushion
When she finished filling up the mini bathtub with water, she started chanting words and her hands began to glow with a color red
"Oh, Spirit of Fire, I order thee to change the temperature of this water"
I watched her back with a surprised expression, yesterday the Pope did something like this too. I think this world that I am currently at is like those fantasy worlds I read in my past life. As I was contemplating my thoughts, Mary lifted me and started walking towards the tub, she took off the clothes I was wearing and submerged my body to the lukewarm water until my head and my face is the only dry thing, she started cleaning my body with a soft fluffy towel, I watched as she took a liquid-like soap and started to carefully scrub my body.
When she finished cleaning my body, she took a dipper-like tool and started pouring water at my head and gently shampooing it, she also started cleaning and brushing my teeth.
After tidying me up she dried my whole body using which I think is magic, we went out of the bathroom and she gave me to Barnaby and started dressing me up
I was placed in front of a big mirror and I took that chance to examine my appearance, I looked at the reflection on the mirror, and what I saw almost made my heart sink, snow-white hair, milky pale skin, and deep violet eyes which resembled the starry night sky. It was like I was staring at a fallen angel, why the hell does I look so adorable?!
I stared at my reflection dumbfoundedly, while Barnaby started to apply something on my skin which I think is lotion, and started dressing me up.
When she finished, she carried me back to my own room and as we entered, I saw the flinching expressions of Aria and Mary, again, why do they always flinch when they look at me? I thought but a familiar voice suddenly spoke
[IT'S BECAUSE YOU ARE VERY CUTE]
I listened in disbelief, yes even I find my own appearance adorable but not to the point that I would flinch whenever I saw myself. I could only sigh in defeat as they intensely stare at me, I noticed Aria approaching Barnaby carrying me, and she took a baby bottle from the drawer
"Young Master it is time to eat," she said and placed the baby bottle in front of my mouth which I drank gladly took because I was damn hungry
"Oh my, it seems like Young Master is a good eater" I heard Mary said as she also approached us
"I agree, I wonder if he'll look cuter if he became chubby, I can't wonder how his cheeks would feel like if I pinched them hehe" Barnaby replied
"You two stop that! We still need to meet with His Excellency and go for a stroll, now hurry up!" said Aria which the two maids quietly followed
We began to go out of the room and as we pass by, I can't help but look around at my surroundings, in my past life I lived at a grand mansion but if I compared it to this manor it will look like a commoner's house. I also noticed that whenever we encountered a maid or a butler, they will bow down their heads until we pass through them and continue their works which I already expected
We continued walking until we reached a large door and Aria announced our presence
"Your Excellency, we bought the Third Young Master as you ordered"
We waited for a moment before a voice of a man replied
"You may come in…"
The door suddenly opened, and we entered the room, I tightly closed my eyes as a flash of light shined down upon us and when it disappeared, I saw a figure of a man standing beside another figure who was sitting down with a stack of papers at his table
I slowly opened my eyes and saw a familiar face, a man with white hair like me and pitch-black eyes, my Father
"Aria, leave Snow here and come back after an hour" my Father dismissed the three maids
I saw them leave the room and I turned my gaze at my Father who is currently carrying me
"Snow, my third child, I'm sorry I wasn't there with you yesterday…" he said and planted a soft kiss on my head
"Do you want to see your mother?" he asked me with a nervous tone
Why is he nervous? It's not like I'll eat him what the hell is happening?! and how the hell would an infant understand your words, Father? Who do they think am I? Albert Einstein?
I only nodded my head as a reply because I can't speak yet which made my Father sigh in relief
He looked at the man beside us and said that he'll leave now which the man only nod in response, I noticed him looking at me, so I looked back at him which made him flinch and avert his gaze, I sighed internally
My Father and I went into another room and as we entered, I recognized the woman laying on the bed, Mother!
I didn't know why I was happy when I saw Mother, but I felt relief when I saw her fine condition. She turned her attention to us, and a warm smile formed on her beautiful face as she placed down the book, she was reading
"Dear, thank you for bringing Snow here, I thought you're still busy?" Mother asked in a concerned voice
"I already handled the difficult affairs yesterday, so I left the lighter ones to Sebastian," my father said as he laid me down beside Mother
"I see, then do you want to join us?" asked Mother as she took another book from the desk beside her
"My pleasure!" Father happily replied
I laid down between Father and Mother as they read the book aloud alternately
I learned that we are currently at the Eastern Continent which is surrounded by 4 Kingdoms and an empire in the middle, which is ruled by the Emperor named Augustus Hyperion, there is also Academy for Magic, an Adventurer's Guild, different kinds of Races, a fantasy world indeed.
Snow attentively listened to the information the book until his eyes became heavy and he began to feel sleepy
'No! I still need to listen…' unfortunately Snow's consciousness faded as his eyes began to close and he finally succumbs to sleep
His Mother and Father chuckled when they saw him resisting his sleep as they began to talk to each other
"My Wife, did you see his face earlier? His expression doesn't even change a bit! I felt so relieved when he slightly smiled earlier when we told stories to him HAHA" Snow's Father said as he caresses Snow's head
"I'm relieved, he doesn't cry unlike children his age but when he listened to the story, we told him earlier, he looked happy. More importantly…" Snow's Mother said
"Yeah, I know, they're arriving tomorrow, and if they see Snow…" Snow's Father worriedly said
*Sigh~* Snow's parents could only sigh when they think of their First and Second children
...
On a road of cement and pebbles, a luxurious carriage is running at a fast speed, two teenage boys with white hair and dark blue and black eyes, wearing the uniform for the Academy of Magic with a white robe on their bodies is currently inside that carriage
"Hey 2nd brother, I heard Mother finally gave birth…" said the teenage boy who looked the older one among the two
"Yeah, that's right, and I heard our youngest is a MYSTIQUE, interesting…" said the younger one
Snow who was currently sleeping didn't know that the next morning he wakes up, a headache will be passed to him and two persons will be the cause of that
