Chapter 2: One
Vellas City, a small town on the western mainland of Westmorth Country, stands on the green outer crust of the planet Nexuz in the Diandra Galaxy Universe, a galaxy with a flickering pink disk in the middle of a dense universe, centered on the giant star ZARA as the energy pillar of its solar system.
Having two moons that will appear to be side by side when it is dim, a large reddish moon paired with a smaller yellowish moon is always faithfully present in the night sky of Nexuz.
Nexuz consists of a greenish sea whose color comes from B-type plankton with a very wide distribution evenly throughout the planet, making the oceans here look like greenish glass with an emerald tinge from deep troughs at some points as well as various kinds of fauna that inhabit the famous Nexuz seas beautiful and exotic, in the middle of the vast ocean, don't be surprised if you find a creature that looks like a mermaid, because mermaids are not a legend in Nexuz, it's just that they are like fish that don't understand human language.
The mermaid here is called the Siren who mostly inhabits a large lagoon on the small southeastern island of Nexuz, many rumors circulate that inside the lagoon there is a 'something' guarded by the sirens but no one knows what that something is, no one has ever touched it.
In fact, for some people who live in big cities, it is just a story made by parents in the past as bedtime tales for their children.
In addition to the vast ocean which is like the endless Nexuz has land that is divided into several parts of the land, the land is not separated by the sea but large rivers that divide and then connect to one at the ends with the ocean.
There is only 1 isolated island in the middle of the mainland area, separated by the only narrow sea that stands alone around it, the shady sea with a bluish-green color is in stark contrast to the island that looks rounded with a stretch of beach along its coast limiting the waves that seem to want to erode the island little by little.
Towering green hills side by side with a luscious white shoreline, that is the island of Zorgot, the island which is closest to access from the mainland compared to the other exotic small islands scattered across the vast sea of Nexuz, but no one wants to get close because of strange rumors blanketing it, they said the people who went to Zorgot Island would no longer be seen, would never come back, disappear somewhere in the jungle no one knows.
The mainland area of Nexuz is divided into 4 and all of them are far apart, making Nexuz only has 4 country areas based on its geographical location, in the eastern part there is a prosperous country called Elysium Country, it can be said that this country has the largest area status compared to other land areas, as well as a country with a number of the largest population in the world.
The southern part of Nexuz lies a land smaller than Elysium, named Shouthbern Country with the characteristic aster flower as a symbol of statehood.
Continuing to the north of Nexus, here is a country that is arguably the most barren because this is the area with the largest number of deserts, pseudo violet sand spreads out like a carpet on a large dance floor, or is like a stretch of blooming lavender fields with a few hills, makes it look beautiful but at the same time deadly.
This is the Gazhal Empire, the only country ruled by a king.
Turning to the western part of Nexuz, this western state is called Westmorth Country, a country with 4 seasons that regularly take turns greeting the Westmorth people, and this is where there is a small town called Vellas City, a city that is quiet and quite prosperous but also has quite complicated problems. Social inequality is visible here

18.30 ZTC (Zara Time Coordinate)
Ambulance sirens can be heard screaming through the peaceful dimness that begins to descend, Zara (the Sun of Nexuz) begins to disappear, replaced by a pair of moons who always make their love in the night sky.
People gathered in front of a narrow alley behind the buildings to see what had just happened, when one of the residents who was about to urinate was startled by the body of a woman without clothes, again with her neck slit almost cut off, her eyeballs slit as white as the eyes of a dead fish, its mouth was closed tightly, the tip of the nail was broken as if it had been scratching at something and there was a gaping hole the size of cherry in its left chest, right where its heart was.
Suddenly the narrow alley that divides cheap apartment buildings on the outskirts of Vellas city became bustling with curious people. It made the officers of the VCPD unit-8 (special violence and crime unit) confuse because the crime scene, which was supposed to be clean, had now been cleared before they arrived.
Police lines are installed as markers of the boundaries of the area that can be approached, police forensic units are scattered around the crime scene to identify and sweep the area to find evidence that could be scattered by the perpetrators.
A dark-haired woman in a monochrome suit approached the scene of the crime scene, cutting through the crowd of people who were watching this scene like a movie. He approached one of the officers who was his subordinate, Ryan Haltz.
"The same pattern?" Mel whispered.
"Emh! Exactly ..." Ryan replied with a small nod.
"Find out the background, comb the area up to 500 m to the outside as usual," she said.
"Yes, ma'am," Ryan replied with his hand on his temple showing respect for his superior Mel.
"And remember, don't talk to the media yet," Mel said cautiously.
"Got that Connor, I'll take Tony with me," Ryan said then immediately walked over to his partner and then started combing the area according to Mel's orders.
In the same place, a young man with a black hoodie was attached to his head, a brownish mane that had started to long down his forehead, almost covering his eyes, with a mask that was always attached to cover half of his face.
Lex was annoyed that he had to go out to buy food and bath necessities which almost ran out at the same time as the body was found, in the area of his apartment. The deep black suddenly mixed in with other tints, rising around the crowd. All the smells bumped into his nose, luckily there was a mask perched there as a shield for Lex.
He paused for a moment behind the people, just to see whose corpse was lying in the corner of the trash can but useless, nothing could be seen from where he stood, without realizing that a pair of round blue eyes caught his presence from behind the crowd and began to watch him.
Lex does look striking because the height of which reaches 185 cm makes it easily seen even though it is behind the crowd plus his clothes and appearance that is inviting suspicion, who will use masks in this summer. Lex began to leave the place towards a 24-hour supermarket not far from the apartment complex.
Mel quickly caught up with him, chasing after the suspicious man, his heart racing as his body started pumping adrenaline as a response from his brain which led to the conclusion that the culprit might be that man.
"Stop there!" Mel snapped while brandishing her weapon from behind the man.
Lex reflexively stopped his steps but did not turn around, his back to the woman was silent.
"Turn around!" Exclaimed Mel then.
White? Ah ... I've never seen this color before. The smell was ... also imperceptible, strange, Lex's mind, he turned around and noticed the white flames emanating from the woman behind him, only tiny black dots coloring it.
"Please show your identity ... Then, can you take off your mask? I have to identify it," Mel said while putting on a flat face.
Lex took out his ID card.
"Your mask, sir .."
"Sorry, I can't take it off of this," said Lex.
"What ... why?"
"I have the flu"
"No problem, please take it off for a moment."
"Sorry I can't."
Mel raised an eyebrow, suspicious of the boy, the reason was absurd.
"Then you have to come with me to the police station to give information, you live around here, don't you?" Mel insisted.
