Chapter 53: New favorite grandchild

Maya pushes Marve's wheelchair after checking in they decide to meet Darwis who will be coming home today.

"Don't make trouble with grandpa. When you disappeared, he was very worried about you." Maya whispers right at the moment of entering the Darwis room.

"So now you're on grandpa's side now?"

"Come on honey... You have to make peace, I know that you care about each other."

Marve hides her smile as if the events that befell her give wisdom to Maya and her grandfather's relationship.

"Grandpa..."

Marve smiles again and Maya calls him in such a soft voice that he was impressed.

"Oh Maya, come here dear. Eat this orange, it's so sweet." Darwis said when Maya and Marve came and he quickly grabbed Maya's hand and took her to sit by his side and then peeled an orange for Maya.

Maya smiles and enjoys the orange given by Darwis, they then laugh together like a grandfather and his granddaughter.
