Chapter 4: Royal Magic Academy
Ari woke up 8 hours after going to sleep getting an overall boost in his stats by +80 as he used sleep magic as well as super-growth being his passive. and was the day of the entrance "exam" even though it is just a bunch of tests to place you in your class, and it was also the day when Shin would meet Sicily von Claude and Ari wasn't going after Sicily there were plenty of other girls and he was basically Shin's brother as they grew up together so he wouldn't steal her from him unless Sicily liked Ari more. Shin and Ari were getting ready to go outside and roam the town as they needed to experience the outside world. as they lived in the forest for basically their entire childhood.
Shin was walking out of the house as Ari followed him but, as soon as Ari got past the gate he used his favorite spell [Flash Step] which imbued lightning into his legs as he traveled at 1/200,000th the speed of light or 1490 m / s and explored the city and stumbled upon a market stall where they were selling antique items and Ari wanted to see what it was all about. Ari saw a sword wrapped in cloth and some other small trinkets and used Identify on all of them.
[Irithyll Katana] A sword forged in the coldest environment, this sword forged by a legendary blacksmith has been forgotten to time. This sword increases the effectiveness of Frost-related damage and is very sharp can cut through steel with only a moderate amount of force.
[Book of Minister of Mana] A dusty book where the Minister of mana the origin of mages wrote down all of his notes. This book has unknown effects, this book has been reduced to nothing but a dusty book of a foreign language as language has changed over time.
[Ring of Space Manipulation] Only Available information is; User learns skill [Alternate Dimension] when first equipped and after will reduce to a fancy-looking ring.
[Antique Ring x15] A bunch of old rings.
'Well that was was pretty lucky' Ari thought to himself as he walked up to the old man behind the stall "Sir what is the price of the items here?" Ari asked as he was curious about what the old man thought was the most expensive item.
"Well young one," the old man said, "these rings here are all 250 gold coins, this book is 150., and this sword here is 100 as it is basically just a normal sword."
When Ari heard this he said "Well sir Ill take 1 of the rings the book and the sword" Ari said as he used up almost all of his money which he used 500 of his 650 gold coins as he put all his stuff in his storage space after grinning like a madman as he heard the biggest cliche as he heard Sicily von Claude and Maria von Messina getting harassed in an alleyway.
Ari sensed Shin walk over to the alleyway as Ari with his blindfolded self walked over there as well as Generic Thug #1 was about to try and stab shin as Ari used a simple [Freeze] Spell as Generic Thug #2 couldn't move as his legs were turned completely into ice. Ari walked out as Shin couldn't sense him due to him having [Presence Concealment] on his blindfold which he updated the enchantments on every year.
Maria and Sizillien were awestruck at how Shin managed to get out of that unscathed as Ari walked in as he greeted Shin, "Yo bro, didn't think I'd run into you again so quickly" as he teleported over to Shin and gave the man a high five. Sicilly and Maria looked at the two as They saw two men that saved them (Both of them are also VERY handsome) as they heard their hearts start beating like an African Ritual is happening inside their chests as Shin asked them if they wanted to go and hang out a bit as they sat down at a cafe table.
Maria was talking as they both asked Ari how he can see through his blindfold as he simply responded with "I can't" which is technically true as he has been using haki the entire time and that is sensing your surroundings not seeing.
Ari and Shin both left as they had to figure out where the magic academy is as both Shin and Ari have no clue where it is at all. Then they turned a corner and saw a huge building that just screamed Magic Academy as they both walked in to start their entrance exams when they both walked in and were ready as the other people went first
The first one stepped up and said "Water, be my weapon and hit my enemy [Splash]" as this happened as both Ari and Shin physically recoiled as theycould feel the amount of cringe terminating off of them.
The second one walked up and said " Mother Earth, Come forth and shatter my enemy until there is nothing left [Earth Blast]" As both Ari and Shin felt physically ill as they couldn't stand it as the third person used wind magic and struck a target with force equivalent to a 2-year-old with a sockem bopper.
Ariwent first as the instructor said "hold back a bit I hard about you frommy boss" as she said this Ari used [Freeze] as he froze the entire room as Shin used a basic [Fireball] as he melted the ice as the instructor and other student all were worried as they both said "sorry I held back quite a bit actually"
