Chapter 192: Don't Be Afraid, I'm Here

Chi Jiao raised her head to look at Quan Jue. From the corner of her eye, she saw the black figure holding a wrench behind him. Her pupils shrank.

But before she could react, Quan Jue suddenly moved.

He seemed to have sensed someone approaching from behind. Just as the wrench in that person's hand was about to land on the back of his head, he quickly picked her up and dodged to the side.

With a loud bang, the wrench smashed heavily onto the wooden table, creating a huge hole in it.

The attack did not succeed, but the black figure did not continue the fight. It turned around and ran out of the room.

"Brother Quan, let's go after them. Don't let the person escape," Chi Jiao said as she grabbed his hand and rushed out of the room.

"They're gone?" After rushing out of the room, Chi Jiao was surprised to find that the black shadow had disappeared from the corridor.
