Michelle's pov

I was about to go take a shower when my dad knocked.

"Are you there Mich?" He whispered.

"Hey dad. Come in. I'm not yet asleep." I answered dropping my face cream on the bed.

"I saw the message your school sent." He said

sitting on my bed.

"I'm so proud of you." He smiled.

"Thanks dad but I'm scared." I said sitting beside him.

"Why?" He asked staring at me. His eyes wide open.

"Dad! I told you already. I only have one friend. I don't think people will cheer me up. No one likes me there." I said looking sad.

"I'll cheer for you. Your mom will also cheer so why are you feeling so sad. You just have to prove to them that you are a good volleyball player. Trust me when you win the match tomorrow I'm sure you'll have more friends." He said pinching my cheeks.

"Okay dad. Thanks for the advice."

"I need to go get some rest. I had a long day." He said standing up stretching his body. His bones made some creaky sounds.
