Chapter 1: Prologue
After countless wars, difficulties, retaliations, and agreements made, humanity has finally been unified, numerous technological advances have contributed to the development of society towards something that in the past would have been considered a utopia, several areas of the industry have developed at an unbelievable level, we can mention, for example, entertainment, medicine, and space travel.
Advanced virtual reality technology and holograms are available to most of the population. Illnesses? Genetic problems? Physical disabilities? There is nothing that current medicine cannot solve. A trip from Earth to the Moon and Mars can be accomplished in a matter of seconds. That is, if you have the necessary resources, if there is something that has not changed after countless years, that would be human greed, but we cannot deny that this is one of the pillars that made humanity reach where it is today.
A unique language and the end of thirst and hunger are some of the benefits conquered and appreciated by all humanity. After years of war and conflict, the human population had reached a meager number. However, thanks to the peace and unification agreement, society managed to recover its numbers, which now occupy the still habitable parts of planet Earth.
Much has changed since the remarkable event in the middle of the twenty-second century, the appearance of those who came to be known as the "new humanity" the reason behind all these monstrous advancements. These individuals, since their birth, have characteristics that differentiate them from their ancestors in a noticeable way. Still, the most striking would be their incredible learning capacity and remarkable improvements in their genetic aspect, providing them with conditioning considered superhuman.
Not much is known about the trigger that brought about this significant change. Still, the benefits that this has brought to humanity are strongly notable. Thanks to this event, humankind has developed rapidly in several areas until it reaches where it is today. Advances in technology and medicine are the most striking.
"The human race is taking another step towards the peak of evolution " was what many came to say. The door to the new world is about to be opened, which will change all the destinies of humanity and break down barriers throughout the universe. Secrets will be revealed, blood will be spilled, the notion of possible and impossible will be remodeled.
Will humanity be able to survive and adapt to this new environment? They will be obliged. Otherwise, they will depend entirely on the piety and mercy of the races and entities that were anxiously awaiting this long-awaited moment.
