Chapter 3: Farewell
After the war against the Vassuk, the planet Earth was in an awful state. As soon as humanity got access to the first spaceships, they decided to move quickly to a new one, the current home of humankind, "Eden."
However, to avoid possible damage to the new planet and its ecosystem, it was decided that all industries would remain and be developed on Earth. At the same time, half of the population and military forces would move to the new planet. Thus, in the event of a possible threat, humanity could react efficiently.
Thanks to space travel technology, moving between the two planets is an effortless task. The restoration of the Earth would be carried out gradually, following human technology development, thereby improving the industry's working environment.
The planet Eden is seven times the original size of the Earth. It presents an orbital period and rotation similar to the old one. Two moons, one with a light bluish tone and the other white, bringing a feeling of nostalgia to all who observe it. It has a variety of intriguing fauna and flora.
Today, thanks to exploration technology and the superhumans of humanity, every surface on the planet have been explored. Five large tracts of land with different breathtaking landscapes occupy sixty percent of the planet, separated by the rich and enchanting hydrosphere.
Human society selected the continent with the mildest climate and lower-level beasts to develop, which later came to be named "Aurora Continent." And in the largest developed city, surrounded by skyscrapers and breathtaking technology, Ayden Kale finds himself packing a suitcase in his apartment.

"Finally ..." murmurs Ayden as he finishes organizing his modern black suitcase. After closing it, the object decreases in size to the point that it can be carried easily with just one hand. This kind of technology is fascinating.
At the same time, he is warned by the apartment's AI that someone is waiting for him at the entrance.
"Half past six in the morning, it must be the military representative of the government that the director quoted yesterday ..." he thinks after looking at the small hologram emitted by his wristwatch.
He walks towards the entrance, inserts his finger on the same wristwatch, and the front door opens. As soon as Ayden sees who appears, innumerable emotions begin to cross his mind.
"I haven't seen you in a while, Ayden." says the man with a smile on his face as he takes off his black sunglasses. He is 5'11 tall, dressed in a black suit, emits a friendly aura, and appears to be in his 35s.
This man is nothing more than the person formerly responsible for taking care of Ayden until he was mature enough to take care of himself.
"It seems to me that you are ready to ..." Before the representative could finish his sentence, Ayden suddenly embraced him.
"Good to see you again, Briyan," says the young man with an innocent smile on his face.
Caught off guard, he pats Ayden's hair. "Good to see that you grew up healthy."
"So you're the one responsible for guiding me to the military school," he says after walking away from Bryan and clearing his throat.
"Uh? I almost forgot about this detail" the man lets out a few laughs before continuing his speech. "Have you prepared everything you will need at the military school? Remember that only a few changes of clothes are allowed, otherwise everything can be obtained inside the institution."
"Yes," Ayden shows him his black suitcase, which he is holding in his left hand.
"Perfect, take this, it will be necessary to identify yourself inside." he says as he hands him a small ID card. "Now that everything is ready, I will take you to the military teleporter at the Grandeur station, let's go to where I parked my aircraft."
As the apartment is on the 25th floor of the building, both take the internal elevator to the parking lot. To not end the sales of urban transport vehicles, teleporters have only been installed in specific locations around the city. Not to mention the high cost of installation and raw material for this technology.
After approximately ten minutes of travel, they arrive at the destination, Grandeur city's teleportation station. It is very early in the morning, so the station has many people leaving and entering. Some people stopped and started watching the beautiful cobalt-colored aircraft parking near the station.
"Isn't this the latest release from Millenius, Nebula 1.0?" asked Ayden as he left the spaceship with the man and followed him to the teleporter.
"Oh, I thought you wouldn't ask ~ yes! I completed some expedition missions recently and the salary that the government offers also helped a lot." Said Briyan with a radiant face, already entering the military-only area after undergoing a quick facial scan.
After walking a few meters, they arrive at the farewell place.
"Okay, this is the military teleporter. As you can see, the number of people here is already much reduced," he said, pointing to a type of circular portal about 10 meters long and 5 meters high. "The identity card I gave you has a small chip installed inside . Just hold it in your hand and go through the portal and you will be sent to the military school."
"Thanks for everything Briyan, when we see each other again, don't expect to find the same weak person as always," said Ayden with a serious and fierce expression on his face while looking at the light and movement show emitted by the portal's technology.
Holding the technological identification card tightly, Ayden strolls until he enters the portal and departs from the station.
"You were never a weak boy to begin with ..." said the man, putting on his sunglasses again, as small tears started to escape his eyes.
