Chapter 3: A Date for an Apology
"Apologize." She said with a demanding tone.
"And who am I apologizing to… Miss Attitude?" He questioned, towering over her with his arms crossed over his chest. He looked quite intimidating.
She gulped, but refused to show her fear. "To my friend."
"And why would I do something like that?" he asked. 'Damn, this girl got some nerves.' he thought.
"Because you called her clumsy when you had no right to call her that." She answered sternly.
He rolled his eyes and turned to walk away again. One side of his lips turned up when she grabbed him to make him face her again.
"I said apologize." She narrowed her eyes and glared at him, obviously annoyed with him.
"Fine." He gave in and turned to Silvia.
Silvia just stood there, shocked at what her friend just did.
"I'm sorry Miss… uh Miss." He acted like he didn't know her name.
"You can just call me Silvia."
He nodded, "I am truly sorry for calling you clumsy when I apparently had no right to do so, Miss Silvia." He said in a mocking tone, then turned towards Brianna. "Happy?"
"No."
He blinked at her response.
"It wasn't sincere enough." She clearfield.
"You gotta be kidding me…"
"Nope."
"..." he had to think how to approach this in a way that it would be most entertaining for him. "If you want me to give a sincere proper apology, then let me take you on a date." He grinned.
"..." Brianna didn't know how to respond, she was doing so well in taking charge until he said that. 'OMG! OMG! A hot sexy guy just asked you on a date Brianna, accept the invite girl.' Her mind said.
Silvia just stood there, shocked at his request. She knew Jason was a playboy, that was his reputation was all around the world. She was shocked because he asked for a date, 'a date for an apology…' he thought. She hoped Brianna would accept just to hear a sincere apology from him, but hoped that she would reject it so she wouldn't fall for his charms and end up being heartbroken. Silvia already knew what it feels like to be heartbroken.
But little does Silvia know, her friend that never fell for a guy in her life had already fallen for his charms.
Brianna glared at him and crossed her arms. "Fine!" She said. "Now apologize." she demanded.
Silvia was left in shock at her friend's response.
He rolled his eyes and smirked before he turned back to her friend. "Miss Silvia, I am truly sorry for calling you such a name as clumsy. I promise I will never do such a thing again as I have no right to call you such a name." He said in a much more sincere tone than last time.
She smiled proudly. She was satisfied with his apology. He turned to look back at Silvia, "now Miss… uh…"
"Brianna."
"Miss Brianna, where would you like to be picked up." He asked.
"Jay Hotel." She responded quickly.
He nodded.
"When?" She asked right after.
"Tonight at eight."
She nodded. She was annoyed, she was going to miss part of The Voice because this idiot 'needs' to go on a date with her, just to give Silvia a sincere apology.
After he turned and walked away. He now has a date to prepare for.
He walked up to Theodore, who was standing in the distance. He was holding a laugh from watching his boss apologize. Now that was a sight that he never saw before.
"Take me home." He demanded. "I have a date to prepare for." He added.
Theodore tried to hide his disappointment. "Yes, of course, sir." He said and followed Jason out of the mall.
Brianna and Silvia grabbed some paper towels and cleaned some of the mess that they made with their drinks.
Everyone in the area was watching her. They couldn't believe their eyes. What just happened was out of the world no one ever dared to talk to Jason like that, he had the power to do anything he wanted to them.
Once she finished, she glared at everyone staring at her, causing them to go back to doing what they were doing like nothing happened.

They were in their hotel suite. Brianna was dead on the couch and it was an hour before it was time for her to go to her date. She was in sweats and her hair was a mess with her makeup smudged. She took a long nap once she got home.
"WAKE THE HELL UP BRIII!!!!" Silvia yelled, hitting Brianna.
Brianna groaned as she rolled over and fell off the couch. She opened her eyes, yawning and sitting up while rubbing her head. "What?" She mumbled sleeplessly.
Silvia glared at her, "Don't tell me you forgot about your date, Bri." she said sternly.
Brianna laughed. "I didn't forget about it, I'm not going." She continued to laugh.
Silvia's jaw dropped at her friend's response. "WHAT! BRI BABY, ARE YOU CRAZY?"
"No, he just doesn't deserve to go out with me.," Brianna smiled proudly.
Silvia face palmed. "Brianna, Jason is the king of this city, you might not want to anger him by not going out with him." Silvia warned..
"Don't worry, nothing is going to happen." Brianna assured her friend.
Normally, it is Brianna being the smart one and making the smart choices. This time, it is Silvia being the smart one.

An hour later, it was 8, and Jason was waiting outside of the hotel for his date.
He waited.
And waited.
He even played some games on his phone while he waited.
She never came.
He waited until it was 9. "I don't think that she is coming, sir." Theodore pointed out the obvious.
"No duh Sherlock." He mumbled, annoyed.
He stood out of his car. "Follow me, Theodore." Jason demanded.
Jason wore a black suit with a red tie. The first few buttons on his suit were undone, showing his white shirt underneath.
He started walking into the hotel with Theodore trailing behind him.
He went up to the top floor and walked to the suite, Z10. He took out his master card and swiped it before opening up the door to Brianna's apartment. He heard laughter coming from inside the room once the door was opened.
He knew which room they were in since he was able to keep an record of everyone sleeping in the hotel.

Brianna was lying on the couch with her head resting on Silvia's lap while they were on a video call with one of their friends and Elena.
Brianna was in an oversized black hoodie with shorts underneath, she removed her makeup and messed up her hair.
"Bri baby." Blake complained, "are you going to help me out here or just sit there and watch these two make fun of me."
Blake is the boy on the video call. Brianna and Silvia have known him since grade 1. They saved him from being bullied and ever since then, these three have always been together.
They always call each other baby because it is how they address each other.
When Jason heard Blake call Brianna 'baby', he glared towards them, crossing his arms.
Brianna laughed, "I'm sorry Blake baby, but this is just too funny to watch. If I do something, then where will the fun be."
"Bri baby, please do something and save me." Blake pouted.
Brianna shook her head. "Nope."
"Women." He mumbled.
Elena rolled her eyes, "Come on Blaky, just allow us to have fun. You can have fun with us." Elena offered.
"Yea, what Elle said." Silvia agreed, "do you not want your favorite girls to have fun?" asked Silvia.
"Guilt-tripping me will not work this time, Silvi baby."
Brianna rolled her eyes, "I will be right back, I'm getting some ice cream." Brianna said standing up and dusting her sweater off. She looked around and her eyes widened in shock when she saw Jason standing a few feet away from the door with his arms crossed. His face expression showed how annoyed and angry he really was.
Brianna gulped and cleared her throat, "what the hell are you doing here? How did you even get in here?" Brianna glare putting both of her hands on her hips with attitude.
"Uh oh." Silvia said when she looked towards them. She felt the tension that was in the room, and it felt extremely uncomfortable.
This was shocking to them all, Jason would never go to someone's living space just because someone changed their mind and skipped the date.
"I am here because we have a date if you forgot." He said with a hint of sarcasm, "and I got in here because of this." He said waving his master card in the air.
"The sooner we get an apartment, the better." Whispered Brianna to Silvia.
"What's going on! Did Brianna get in trouble with someone very important?" Elena asked, wanting to know the drama that was going on.
"Yes, your sister got in enormous trouble," Silvia answered, "not if you don't mind…" Silvia hung up and turned to look at the two that were glaring at each other.
Jason was glaring because he was annoyed and angry about the date, and Brianna was glaring because she was angry that he broke into her hotel suite.
"I'ma just.." Silvia said as she quickly ran to her room and locked the door.
Now that she was gone, Jason was the first one to talk, "why did you not come like you said?"
"Because I forgot." She lied.
He rolled his eyes.
She crossed her arms.
Silvia was sitting at her door, with her ear against it, trying to listen to the drama going out in the living room.
Brianna faked a yawn, "yawn, it's getting late and I'm getting tired."
He looked at his watch, "it's only ten." he raised an eyebrow.
"Wow, it's already my bedtime, well, out you go so I can sleep." She said the last part a bit aggressively. She walked up to him, putting both of her hands on his back, and tried to push him out of the hotel suite. He didn't move.
"Humph!" She used all her might to push him. You sadly can't push a wall.
Five minutes passed, she was lying on the ground panting. He looked down at her. "Are you done yet?" He asked.
"Can... you… just… LEAVE!"
He shook his head with a smirk.
She glared at him.
"I promise you, you will make up for this date that you forgot... and my time that you have wasted." He warned before turning around and headed out the door.
"Finally Mr Annoying is going!" She exclaimed with joy before standing up.
Silvia walked out of her room when she heard he was gone. She looked at her friend with a sigh. "Bri baby, you need to be careful around him, he has the power to bring down mine, yours and your parent's companies."
"Just because I didn't do something that he wanted me to do?"
Silvia shrugged, "Probably, if you anger him enough, he would find a reason to do that. Your company is just a small national company after all, he wouldn't be afraid to do so."
"Whatever, I'm tired. Let's just go to bed." Brianna said with a yawn and walked towards her room.
She laid down on her bed and covered herself with her blanket. She tossed and turned for half an hour before sleep took over.

"AHH!!" Brianna shot up from her bed with her eyes wide open. She looked at her alarm clock on the nightstand beside her bed. It was 3:30 AM.
"God, what was he doing in my dream." She mumbled and rubbed her eyes. She laid back down and tried to go back to sleep. It wasn't until 4. She decided she would not fall back asleep and stood from her bed stretching. She walked over to her drawer and pulled out sweat pants, putting them out then throwing on her black oversized hoodie and her gray slippers, then she walked out of her room.
She tip-toed to the door and walked out of the suite, hoping her friend didn't wake up. She traveled down the stairs, not bothering to go into the elevator.
Once she got to the bottom floor, she went to the restaurant in the hotel.
"What can I get you this early ma'am?" A server who was cleaning the tables asked.
She looked over at him before taking a seat at a clean table. "Just a cup of black coffee."
"Alright, I will be right out with it." he said as he stopped cleaning that table, and left to go get her coffee.
Fifteen minutes later, the man came out with her coffee and placed it on the table that she was sitting at. She had her head in her arms on the table, sleeping.
"Are you okay, ma'am?" The server asked.
She woke up and looked up at him with a small smile. "Yeah, I'm fine. Tired." She responded honestly as she took the cup and started drinking it, "and call me Bri, I hate when people call me stuff like 'Ma'am'." He nodded.
"Alright Bri, you can call me Dave or David."
She smiled, "alright."
