Chapter 56: Stuck

Ace walked into the boy's room, expecting to see him still in bed. 

He saw something even worse. 

The boy was wide awake and busy painting all along the walls with fruits that were left on his table. 

"Oh no." Ace froze before running to him as he was about to crush another strawberry on the wall. "What are you doing?"

"Your majesty!" The boy's eyes lit up instantly as his hands wrapped around him in a hug. "I missed you." 

"You were asleep for quite a while." He chuckled, patting the boy's hair as a soft, almost florally scent filled his nose. "Did you have a bath?" 

"Yup," he said, grinning at him. "Big brother Ajax gave me a bath."

"I-I see." Ace said, staring at the boy. It was only then that he remembered his age. 

A good two years younger than Ace's current age. 

Fourteen.
