Chapter 6: Chapter 6: Stay for the night
After swiping the room card, Xia Qin Yi opens the light as she entered the room. The whole 39th floor consists of only two residential suites, one is hers and the other is vacant. The whole suite is painted with monochrome colors such as black and white, furniture such as tables and chairs are presently coated with a layer of dust.
After checking the whole living room, she walks through the wide hallways and enters a large room that seems to be the masters' bedroom. The queen-sized bed was covered with a thick quilt. The whole room was covered with sunlight as the curtains are not available in the room. There are empty wardrobes and another door for the bathroom.
Xia Qin Yi enters a room on the left side of the hallways that seems to be the guest room and another smaller room with empty bookshelves and a furnished table.
She made a mental list of the furniture and necessities needed and heads to the intercom in the living room. She told the manager to send someone to clean the whole place immediately.
Time passed by so quickly and it's already 7 in the evening and her stomach started to growl. The suite was cleaned already, making the whole place brighter and lighter to the eyes.
Xia Qin Yi grabs her wallet and newly-bought phone and heads towards the door.

"Uncle!~" A voice broke the silence in the empty hallways of the 40th floor. The milky sound brings a soft touch to the whole floor.
The kid keeps knocking on the door of the only residence on the floor. His hands start to turn red and his voice starts to choke. The sweat on his face makes his little face more adorable and makes people feel pity.
There's no sound coming from the inside after a long time. The kid lowered his head and stop knocking. After standing at some time, he headed to the elevator and press the 1st floor.
He stands there in a daze while waiting for the elevator to get him to the 1st floor. There's a lot of people coming and going on the elevator and the little man was squeezed in the corner, lowering his existence.
He clenches his fist on the side of his waist, slowly curling up the corner of his shirt. After some time, the elevator opened on the 1st floor.
He walks to the chair in the lobby and stares at the people who are entering the building. His cute little figure is so cute, that it attracts a lot of people and staff in the building.
"Hey, little kid..." said the beautiful auntie with a smile.
" Do you have someone with you? Why are you sitting here alone? " The auntie asks him with a soft voice.
The kid looks at the sound of the voice and stares in a daze.
" Uhm-- I am... " He didn't continue what he is about to say and look down to continue looking at the entrance of the building.
" Okay. Auntie here will give you candy because she has to go now. If you are still waiting here, don't walk around and just sit here, okay? Maybe someone is looking for you. The security guards are just nearby and call them if you have something urgent, understand? "
The Auntie looks at the little softly while saying these sentences. If the time permits, he doesn't want to leave the little guy here alone.
This kid reminds him of her son who is not living with her because of divorce. The Auntie took something out of her bag and put the sugar in the palm of the little boy. She looks at the kid and strode outside the building after saying she's leaving.
The little guy looks at his palm with the candy in the middle of it. He fiddled with the candy wrap for a while but didn't eat it.
The kid continued to stare at the entrance and saw someone familiar. It's the beautiful sister in the elevator earlier.

Since Xia Qin Yi can't cook anything in the meantime, she decided to buy for take-out in a nearby restaurant. And also bought a cake, by the way.
She strides towards the building, and as she walks past the lobby something soft nudges her back. She looks down and saw the kid in the elevator earlier.
" S-Sister... c-can you take me in for the night? My uncle is away when I visit his house earlier and I don't have someone with me to get home." The little kid said with a red face.
Seeing her not responding, the boy took out something from his pocket and grabs her hand to put something on it. She looks at her hand and saw a milk-flavored candy.
" Please sister... I am obedient and will not disturb you at all. " The kid starts selling cute.
Xia Qin Yi walks towards the elevator and presses the button. She looks towards the boy in a daze.
" Are you coming or not? " she said while preventing the elevator door from closing.
The kid's eyes lit up and run towards her.
After getting into the house, Xia Qin Yi prepares to eat as someone behind her follows her to the dining table. She took out the dishes from the bag and put them neatly on the table.
The scent of the dishes lingers in the whole place. The braised pork smells greasy and sweet. There are stir-fried vegetables, steamed carp, beef glass noodles, and fried pork glazed with spicy sauce.
The kid stares at the food, drooling, but didn't immediately go to the table.
Xia Qin Yi gave him a little glance on the side.
" Eat. " She said as she passes a pair of chopsticks to the kid.
The kids' eyes sparkled and head towards the dining table. He struggled to sit on the chair because of his small height so, Xia Qin Yi grabs him and place his stiffened body on the chair. The kid glances at the girl and looks away.
As Xia Qin Yi starts to eat, the boy spoke in a low voice.
" Xiao Yunxi, my name. " The cute milky voice gets in her ears. the little boys' ears are red like tomatoes and cheeks with a stain of blush.
The kid looks at the food, and glance at her before eating.
