Listening to Arcueid, I'm shocked. I know that dead apostle's can live a very long time however the longer they live the faster they deteriorate, thus the more they need to eat.
"True ancestors, unlike dead apostle's are essentially high rank nature sprits, ranked higher then Divine spirits. Were closer to Fae then anything else.
True ancestors were created and based off crimson moon. However we posses a defect in our nature, the thirst for blood"
"So you need blood to survive. That sucks"
"No. Unlike dead apostle's, true ancestors don't need to drink blood. However, even if we don't need to drink it, we crave it. We all have an overwhelming thirst for blood. We true Ancestor's spend our childhood years asleep, growing and getting stronger, we only wake up and start our lives after we have enough power to suppress the thirst. However even if we suppress the thirst, it doesn't leave. It's always there, accumulating, getting stronger"
Damn, I don't know how to react to this. These girls, they are essentially Fae, however they live with such a curse.
"Eventually, the thirst reaches as point we can no longer suppress it. At that point we have a choice. Give in to the thirst, or, go into a deep eternal sleep. We True Ancestor's, due to our nature, are connected to the planet, we have support of the counterforce, and are capable of using marble phantasm. It's ironic, were immortal, have incredible power, and can change nature at will, but we are slaves to our thirst"
Arcueid finishes her explanation on a rather somber tone. As bad as is sounds, these True Ancestor's are a bit stupid.
"Have any of you guys thought about investing in the creation of artificial blood"

"Well, there's this thing called biology. Now most people in the moonlit world will call my next words as blasphemy, however science has come a long way. Thing's like cloning exist, I'm pretty sure if you vampire's actually put any effort into researching the production of artificial blood. You could have solved this problem centuries ago"

It seems that not just Arcueid, Altrouge is also shocked by what I said. Not surprising considering I just shattered their own perception of the world.
As far as they were concerned, the only thing's they could do about their thirst was ether suppress it, or give in and drink blood. It never occurred to them to artificially create blood that they can drink.
"No no that wouldn't work"

Out of nowhere Altrouge gets up and leaves with Fou. She probably going to set up a blood production plant.
"So. What about dead apostle's. You told me about True Ancestor's"
"Eh, ah, right. Well, unlikely True Ancestor's, dead apostle's are human who became vampire through the use of magecraft or turned by a True Ancestor.
Unlike True Ancestor's, Dead Apostle's are not immortal, once a human becomes a dead apostle, their cells, their genes that compose their bodies begin to break down and degrade.
In order to fix this and continue living they need to consume blood from humans. By taking in the blood and genes of their victims they can repair and maintain their own.
However, this doesn't work forever. As dead apostle's grow older, the amount of blood that they need to consume to survive will continue to grow, and the older they get, the more they need to eat"
Well, I did not know that, having said that, there's was a lot about this world I did t know. I only knew basic things from the grail war and a bit from garden big sinners.
Looking at the TV, the movies finished, and it's almost midnight. Damn we spent more time then I thought talking.
"It's late, I'm going to go to bed. Wait, actually, you never answered my question though"

"Oh that. Well, for True Ancestor's were not affected, as high ranking nature spirits it would be stupid for us to be affected by something like sunlight, as for Dead Apostle's, sunlight speed up the rate at which their genes degrade"

Getting up, I walk to my room, have a shower and go to bed. During the night I woke up to a knock on the door, but I ignore it and go back to sleep.
Waking up I first get up and close the blinds, why the hell didn't I close them last night, who want to wake up to the sun in there eyes. After another short nap, I eventually get out of bed and get dressed.
Walking into the living room, I find Arcueid and another girl I don't know. Based on the situation I can assume she's the apostle girl.
Walking to the kitchen, I make myself a bowl of cereal.
"So, I guessing this girl is the vampire girl with the reality marble who instantly turned"
"Yep. Nicholas this is Satsuki Yumizuka. The girl who instantly turned in to a dead apostle after she was bitten by Roa. Satsuki, this in Nicholas, he's the person I'm traveling with"
Satsuki stretches out her hand which I grab and shake.
"Nice to meet you Nicholas my name is Satsuki Yumizuka. Thank you for taking care of me"
"Not like I had a choice. These girls didn't plan on telling me about you until you were here. You being here is all there doing. So, Tell me about yourself"
With that, we all sit at the table and talk about ourselves to each other. Talking about our like, dislike, hobbies and goals.
