Chapter 6: Chapter 6: The only habitable place on the planet?!
Shuzo then holds down Leina's small hands and take her to the dining table.
Arriving there, he made Leina be seated and took out all the foods he has made from the preserver and gave them to her.
Just by the smell of food, Leina's stomach was making sounds. She soon takes the chopsticks and ate the food one after another. It was so delicious that she have it all heartily.
Shuzo on the side was seating there and were watching her eat amusingly.
There were all smiles on his handsome face. He was feeling delighted at the thought that his meimei is finally getting better.
Soon after she finishes all the meal, Shuzo took out the coke from the freezer and open up the can. He then gave it to Leina charmingly.
Leina(Cuifen) turned to gawk at Shuzo with a puzzled face and spoke up hesitatingly, "I don't drink coke!"
Shuzo was left amused by his sister's words that he declared amazed, "Why? What's gotten into you?! Isn't this your favourite drink?! You usually have it after meal"
Cuifen pretended a smile at it and replied with an awkward face, "Ahh...That...I have a change of appetite! From here onwards, I will only drink fresh juices. You know the kind meant to keep you strong and in shape?!"
Shuzo turned to glance at her amusingly and exclaimed in charm, "Tsk...! Then what shall I do with this?! I took a lot of coke for you. I guess I better hurry to return them to the authorities"
Cuifen shooked her head at it.
After eating to her stomach full, Cuifen was all set to know what she is up to?! Where is she now?! And how shall she return to her home?! Since she needs to survive in this bizarre place she has to know how the world is working in that time. Curious to see the place, Cuifen turned to Shuzo and asked in earnest, "Ge...I have been bedridden for a long time, therefore, why don't we drive outside and get some fresh air?!"
Shuzo was left stunned by his sister words that he glances at her with a puzzled face and clamoured concernedly, "Leina...! You alright?! We can't get out from Vega! I thought you remember everything why didn't you recalled this?!"
Cuifen was left taken aback by his words, 'We can't get out from here?! What in the world has happened?!'
Amused by it she acted professionally and replied in caution, "Actually...I think the creature has hit some part of my brain therefore, I couldn't recall properly"
She was then making a pitiful face with it and asked him in curiosity, "Tell me why couldn't I get out from Vega?!"
Shuzo was left in awe by his sister comments that he turned to held her shoulder and seated in front of her. He then glances at her with his deep intoxicating eyes and spoke up alertly, "Leina...listen carefully! Don't tell anyone that you can't remember a part of your memory"
Cuifen eyes were left widened by it while Shuzo continued with a stern face, "Because...they will expel you out from the Vega. The special unit doesn't recruit any unfit persons. Once they got to know that you have some serious problems with your memory they will immediately expel you out of here. Here, in the whole world, the Vega is the only safe place that you can stay!"
Alarmed by it, Cuifen eyes enlarged and inquired in curiosity, "What do you mean by it?! What in the world happened?!"
Shuzo responded to it coolly, "Outside the Vega, there are many people with virus infection. They are starving and were showing some strange symptoms. The unit doctors are trying to find the cure for the disease but it seems incurable. And in some parts of the world, there are different types of weird skin diseases spreading around, people had become disfigure with it. The unit has already sent some forces to bomb them! Humanity is dying and the world is collapsing, we are on the verge of the end of the world"
Amused by it, Cuifen asked him in prudent, "Then..what about Shanghai?! In which country are we at right now?!"
Shuzo was left bemused by his meimei's remarks. Just what in the world is she talking about?!
After a moment of reflection, he conceded cluelessly, "Which country are you talking about?! There is no country in this world! The Vega is the only safe place here on the planet and the next to it is the Acrux. It lies on the far south in an island"
Cuifen was left shooked by it that she exclaimed muddled-headed, "Acrux?!"
Shuzo replied to it knowingly, "They are also a special unit like us but our vision is different from theirs.
While the mission of the Vega is to try to explore other habitable planets and to spread humanity there, the Acrux mission is to save the humanity on the planet, Earth itself"
Cuifen was left dumbfounded by it all.
This seems to be extra complicated. Seems like she is stuck to the only habitable place on the planet next to Acrux and the mission of the place is to find the other habitable planets?! Wah..! That's insane!
Wanting to know what has happened to the world, Cuifen turned to Shuzo and demanded his phone, "Ge, give me your phone!"
Shuzo turned to look at her bemusedly and gave her the unit cell phone.
Cuifen instantly opens it and tried to browse the internet.
Finding no web browser on his phone, she asked him with a puzzled face, "Why I could not browse the internet?! Where is the Google?!"
Shuzo was left startled by his meimei's mad act that he reacted in wonderment, "Leina you have forgotten everything didn't you?! The Unit has already shut down all the web browsers long ago. We cannot browse the internet as it will alarm outsiders. You know there are skilled hackers outside the Vega"
"We are not allowed to tap onto the internet as the hackers will get to know our location immediately!", he added in a serious tone.
"Don't you know how tough life is outside the world, there are zombies everywhere, various kinds of diseases are spreading. Some people on the other side of the world are dying from starvation while some are running to save themselves from the zombies. We are really lucky that our parents have worked on the Vega. Because of them, we get the luxury to stay here and be trained to become a member of the special unit. Otherwise, we will either be starving or dying from a weird disease. The situation is worse outside", Shuzo expressed alarmingly.
Cuifen was left dumbfounded by it all, never did she thought that she would be transmigrating into such a terrible time, furthermore, she was not able to browse the internet and know what has happened to her as well as to the world.
What a terrible place to transmigrate!
Since Vega is the only safe place to stay, Cuifen reckoned that she better hide her identity and play Leina no matter what!
