Chapter 7: Tinder

Half an hour later

Ava's apartment

"Oh my god Ava, your apartment is too good." Elsa excitedly said

Ava is Elsa's childhood best friend who is from San Francisco. She moved to New York a year back and currently working as an assistant for the CEO of Jones enterprises. Ava is energetic, bold, super cool best friend who always Elsa in every decision and also stays with her no matter what. Ava and Elsa friendship started from school days and still continuing at the same pace.

She stays in two bedroomed apartment which has a huge living area and separate balcony for two rooms. She used to stay alone because she knew today or the other her best friend is going to invade the apartment.

"Firstly, this is our apartment okay. Secondly, your to be boss's apartment is just a few meters away from here." Ava stated

"Is it? Did you saw him? Is he a handsome hunk? Is he cold and aloof? Is he single or committed? Does he look good?" Elsa started shooting Ava with different kind of questions

"Too many questions El and I have little brain," Ava said

"But—"

"I will answer your questions later but first go and freshen up babe," Ava said and pushed Elsa to her room

"El, what do you want to eat?" Ava asked

"Anything but don't prepare sandwiches because you suck at it," Elsa said and rushed towards the bedroom

"You have a bad fate that you are not eating Ava's best sandwiches." Ava chuckled and said

"I am glad that have bad fate," Elsa commented before stepping into a washroom.

As Ava busy preparing dinner for her best friend, someone called her.

"Hey Cal—"

"What?"

"Yeah okay, I will inform her," Ava said and hanged the call

"Who is it, babe?" Elsa asked before walking towards her wearing a boyish t-shirt

Ava helplessly shook her head and asked "When will you stop buying clothes from the boys section?"

"They are comfortable honey and Don't you know Elsa's boyish theory?" Elsa asked

"What kind of theory?" Ava asked while whisking a pancake batter

Sitting on a tabletop, Elsa said "Night wears should directly proportional to the body shape. I mean, boy's t-shirt makes you look hotter and look at my legs babe, they make me fall in love with myself. You can sleep comfortable and so good sleep equals too good health and good beauty."

"Irrational theory and Anyway, your boss just called me," Ava said

"Why?" Elsa asked

"Your meeting is preponed." Ava calmly said

"What? How can he just prepone without my concern? Babe, This is so unfair." Elsa frowned and shouted

"Yeah, I am wondering too. Cal strictly follows his schedule but this is probably the first time he changed something in his schedule." Ava explained

Giving her fruit custard, Ava sighed and said "We have to reach Lewis by 9 Am."

"Which is too early," Elsa muttered

"Wait, how do you know my to be boss?" Elsa asked

"Cal and Nick are best friends," Ava said

"Wait, who is nick?" Elsa asked

"Oh god El, my boss is nick and your boss is Calvin," Ava stated

"El, why are you asking so many questions? Didn't you read the magnetize I sent you?" Ava asked

when Ella avoided her gaze, Ava frowned and said "I knew it. Can't you act a little sensible and read them out? It has so much information and hot photographs of your boss."

Elsa pounced into her embrace "Ahh, your custard is yummy honey."

little ounce of anger that Ava is feeling is vanished and said "Fine, I will introduce you to cal and remember, he is a cold and aloof at works but he—"

"He is a jovial and kind-hearted man with little flirtatious skills." Elsa completed her sentence

Looking at her friend, she said "You told me this sentence for god knows how many times."

"Shut up, take those popcorns and pancakes. Let's start our party." Ava exclaimed before walking towards the living room.

After making sure all lights are off, Ava turned on dim lights and gestured her best friend to come.

"Bae, what movie did you planned?" Elsa chuckled and asked

Covering the blanket, Ava said "You will get to know." before turning on the movie

After some time when the title of the movie revealed, Elsa frowned and shouted "Who the hell will see fifty shades of grey with her best friend?"

"What? You have to learn some skills, honey?" Ava chuckled and said

Elsa helplessly shook her head and said "I don't want to learn and if you want to teach some skills, then teach how to be slim even after eating like pig? Teach me how to do perfect makeup?"

"Babe, your twenty-seven yet you haven't kissed anyone. You know how bad it is?" Ava stated

"Give me your phone. I will arrange a tinder date. Just swipe left and swipe right, you will get a date partner." Ava said before taking her phone

"Ava—"

Cutting her best friend off, Ava frowned and said "Shut up and let me see matches for you."

"How is he?" Ava asked while showing a profile

"Bad, very very bad." Elsa frowned and said

"El—" Ava stopped saying and pouted her lips

Taking a deep breath, Elsa said "Okay fine, you just swipe right whomever you want and I will go on a date but if I don't like it then you should stop using tinder on my phone.."

Sticking her thumb finger out, Ava exclaimed "Done."
