Chapter 48: Warm and Ease
"I promise," Nick said
"I know you are stupid and dumbass but still I love you," Ava said before pouncing into his embrace.
He then pulled her more closely and wrapped his arms around her waist. With his arms wrapped around her, Ava's heartfelt warm and ease. She missed him a lot, she missed his touch and presence a lot.
Pressing their foreheads together, he said "I promise, I will be the world's best boyfriend and I will never leave you, babe."
"I trust you, Nick." Ava smiled and said
Lifting her chin up, Nick slowly inched closer and brushed their lips together.
When Ava didn't deny his instances, he slowly captured her lips.
When a very familiar sensation started spreading all over her body, she wrapped her arms around his neck and returned his kiss.
The kiss was soft, slow yet very passionate. Tightening her grip around her, Nick deepened the kiss.
They had longed and craved for each other for a long time. A small stupidity from Nick dragged their relationship down and forced them to waste their love life but it wasn't late, right? They could still start and lead a very blissful life.
Reluctantly breaking the kiss when they were breathless, Nick looked at her who is blushing vigorously.
"Don't blush honey, I might not control myself." Nick sucked her earlobe and whispered
"Nick, it was ticklish." Ava blushed and said
Looking at the food which turned super cool, Ava pouted her lips and said "Ahhh, my French fries."
"Never mind, I will order them again," Nick said before ordering them
Placing her hand on his chest, she asked "So, you are my official boyfriend, right?"
"Yeah, do you have any doubt?" Nick frowned and asked
"No, I don't," Ava said
Pausing for a while, She asked "I have all rights on you, right?"
"Yes babe, you have all rights on me." Nick smiled and said
"Give me your phone," Ava said
"Why?" Nick confused and asked
"What? You don't want to give your phone? Is it because you have secrets?" Ava raised her eyebrows and asked
"No, I don't have any secrets," Nick said and gave her phone to her
Ava smiled and locked the phone before opening his contacts.
Her smile turned evil when she found out a particular person's contact details.
"I don't want Julie to contact you," Ava said and deleted her number
"Babe, she is my friend," Nick said
"I hate her Nick. I hate when she looks at you. No, she ogles at you." Ava frowned and said
"I wish I could take her eyes off and play with them." Ava groaned in frustration
How can she forget Nick's so-called friend Julie entered Nick's office and claimed herself as Nick's would-be girlfriend? The way she ogles at Nick always irritated Ava but she couldn't say anything at that time. Now, when Nick is all for her, How can she allow such a filthy woman around her boyfriend?
"Ava, Are you jealous?" Nick chuckled and asked
"Why wouldn't I be jealous when I know that Julie is counting on you?" Ava pouted her lips and said
Pulling her closer, He smiled and said "I won't talk to her anymore."
"That's better."
"Ava."
"Hmm."
"Could you please ask Elsa to stay with Calvin tonight?" Nick asked
"What? Are you mad? How can Elsa stay with Calvin?" Ava frowned and asked
"I just want to spend some alone time with you babe and Calvin is Elsa's would-be boyfriend, right?" Nick said
"But Nick, how can I ask her—"
Cutting Ava off, he pleaded "Please honey, we just got into a relationship after long waiting and just want to spend some time alone with you."
"I promise, this first and last time. I won't trouble Elsa for us again." Nick sighed and said
"Fine, I will call her," Ava said and dialled Elsa's number

Calvin's apartment
Placing all the ingredients they bought from the supermarket on the kitchen counter, Elsa sighed.
"Oh my god, it's already seven. We have to bake cake fast." Elsa said before glancing at the watch
"Calm down Elsa, I will drop you—" Calvin stopped saying when Elsa phone started ringing
"I told you, Ava is waiting for me," Elsa said before answering the call
"Hey, Ava," Elsa said before turning on the speaker mode
"Babe, we just bought all the ingredients and I am starting cooking too. I will come within one and half hour okay." Elsa sighed and said
"No El. You don't come." Ava said
"What?" Elsa asked
"I mean, Could you please stay there with Calvin tonight?" Ava asked
"W.H.A.T?" Elsa shouted before turning off the speaker and rushing towards the living room
