Chapter 31: A Mad Woman
The sound of the waves hammering the beach can be hear clearly. It gives a peaceful and calm atmosphere. But the two men sitting on the nearby trunk did not feel it.
"Hey Dan..you okay?"
"...Yeah..I guess.."
Danial fidgeted with his phone, where Luna's picture was displayed as his screen wallpaper. She looked more younger in the picture with bob hairstyle. The picture was secretly taken when she sat on the bleacher, cheering for their university team in basketball. She adorned a huge smile on her face. An air of melancholy surrounded him.
"..Cal, am I not good enough..?
Calvin does not know how to consoled him. After contemplating, he opened his mouth.
"You'e good..the most successful among us. But, feelings is not something that we can dictate or predict like when we're doing business plan. Not every love is requited and not every relationship is successful. Like business plan, not every plan will reach an agreement and not all business plan will be a success. As I said before, perhaps Luna was not your forever. Maybe you should just move on, enjoying your life more. Probably you'll meet another woman who will gives you the same feeling as Luna. Just that, you already have a fiancee. Dan, you need to sort out your life priorities."
Danial nodded absentmindedly.

Monday came and people could be seen rushing to their respective workplaces. Some drive their own cars while others prefer public transportations. It was a busy morning for everyone.
In the City S Hospital's lobby, a woman screamed at the receptionist to inquired about Alex's room.
"I'm his girlfriend. I want to see him. So tell me his room number, you bi*ch!"
She try to snatched the phone away when the receptionist calls the guards to kicked her out from the lobby.
The guards arrived quickly to apprehend her but the woman resisted.
"Let me go, bastards! Let me go! I'll sue you, you, you and you for harassment. Let me go," she screamed.
The hospital staffs apologise to their patients and guests for their unpleasant experience. They just nodded as they know it was not the staff's faults.
After a while, the peaceful atmosphere restored. Everyone went for their own works. Cindy, who was being kicked out from the hospital shouted hysterically outside the hospital.
"Is this how your hospital treat their customers? Hey you..looks here..don't come to this hospital in the future, they'll treat you like a dirt."
She pointed back at the guards that stood rigidly in front of the lobby main door.
"I'll sue you, you and you..just you wait."
She paced at the entrance of the hospital when she saw someone. She rushed at him and grabbed his arm.
Alex's PA, Lee Jia who is on the phone with Luna, startled when someone suddenly grab his arm tightly. He looked towards the person and frowned.
"Who're you and what do you think you're doing?"
He tried to pull away his arm but the woman's grip become more stronger.
"Bring me to Alex's room. I know he stays here, he told me himself."
He scrunched his face.
"What do you want from him?"
'This crazy woman.'
"I'm his girlfriend, so bring me to meet him. The hospital staffs prohibited me from meeting him and they kicked me out. So, now..bring me to him," Cindy demand.
Alex's PA was shocked. He discretely glanced at his phone's screen and realised it's still connected. Then he heard Luna calmly says, "Bring her in. I don't want her to cause ruckus here. Use the regular entrance."
Then the call is disconnected.
"Follow me," Lee Jis said in a cold hard voice.
Cindy follows behind him while smugly smiled at the guards. The guards just shaking their heads.
In the VVIP suite, Luna clenched her jaws hard.
'Unbelievable! He told her he was here. I got the best room in the best hospital so he can recuperate well, in peace. Now, that woman made a ruckus here. The audacity of them.'
She went out of the bedroom and into Alex's room. She silently leaning her back beside the door entrance. Alex who is watching the business news on TV felt confused. He thought Luna has something to tell him but she just kept mum. She had an unreadable expression on her face.
Suddenly, the door is pushed open and a woman came running towards him and side-hugging him.
"I missed you so much, darling." She kissed his cheek.
Alex was shocked. He robotically turns his head towards Luna. He saw Luna already staring at him with a complicated expression.
"I'll give you twenty minutes," she said before she stand properly and walked out.
"Follow me," she said to his PA who was frozen outside the door.
Lee Jia quickly follows after Luna into the bedroom. He looked towards Luna but he did not see any slight anger on her face. She still calm and composed as usual.
'Guessed she already knew beforehand.'
"Baby, can you continue playing the toys on the bed? Mommy wants to discuss works with Mr Lee."
Lily nodded and smiled at her mother before she picks her toys and jumps on the bed. Luna smiles warmly at her.
Luna tidy up the couch and stack the files on the table neatly.
"Please has a seat, Mr Lee. Sorry if the lounge is a bit messy. What do you like for your drink?"
"Anything is fine, Madam."
Luna went into the kitchenette and soon brought a pot of chamomile tea and some cups.
'Guessed she's not as calm as she portrayed.' Lee Jia thought.
Luna pours the tea and serves a cup to Lee Jia. He thanked her.
"So, did you get what I asked yesterday?" Luna inquired.
"Yes, here it is."
Lee Jia passed her a black folder and watched as Luna flipping through the documents. Soon she closes it and put the file on the table.
"Next?" she asked.
"These are several projects that being hold because of the lack of funds."
"Lacks of funds?" Luna frowned.
