Huobai woke up knowing exactly what day it was, and he hated it. He was never a fan of celebrating birthdays and even less when it was his birthday. 

But today was different. He was not alone in the dark anymore. He had someone beside him and he could feel the warmth of that person.

Huobai patted the bed around him and frowned. He opened his eyes, just to confirm that Yixing really wasn't in the bed with him. 

"Yiyi?" he asked, his voice raised just a bit. But nobody answered him. 

Huobai wrapped the blanket around him and went out of the bedroom, alarmed. Yixing's heart was securely hanging on his neck. 

He had been playing very much every scenario he could think of. From kidnapping to Yixing running away from him, but he hoped it was nothing that serious.
