Chapter 3: Chapter 003:- William and Vennesa
Adrian slowly entered the hall where a middle aged man who looked like he was in his mid 30's and a woman in her late 20's who looked very beautiful and elegant are seated and were sipping coffee.
The middle aged man and woman looked at Adrian immediately seeing him entering the hall.
"Greetings to the patriarch " said Adrian bowing his head.
Yes the middle aged man is the current head of the blake clan and the father of Adrian,William Blake.
"Hm....you don't need to follow the clan etiquette when there are only 3 of us"said William blake nodding his head.
"This is private discussion little lin your father won't mind it " said the woman with her gentle eyes and unconcealed love.
This woman is none other then the mother of Adrian,Vennesa Blake.
"Yes mother".replied leone.
Actually Adrian used to be very awkward whenever he used to speak towards his current life parents.
Adrian was an orphan in his previous life,so he was always used to being alone and taking care of himself.He matured early due to the hardships of life.But after transmigration into a young boy was a really uncomfortable thing.
Acting as a young kid with matured 25 year old mind was quite hard.
Having parents was indeed something different for him and even more hard to get used to seeing them,talking to them,eating with them and mingling with them.
When Adrian came to this world he directly possesed the body of 11 years old Adrian.
They both shared the same name yet had many uncommon things between them.
But the biggest difference was the old owner of 11 year old Adrian was a great slacker,careless,lazy and not even the least bit interested in anything rather than food,he was a food lunatic.
He wasted money with buying all sorts of food indulge in useless childish gambling and was a straight forward Idiot.
He was arrogant to the core and shamelessy stubborn.He was the embodiment of disappointment.
The biggest reason the old adrian was like that is because his mother loved him a bit too much,so he ended up this way.
He actually died because he was drowned in the swimming pool.
So Adrian took over the body at that time.
Seriously how could someone drown and die in a world where people can even fly in air and manipulate elements.
When Adrian possessed the body he literally had tears in his eyes as he was confused if he had possesed a human or a young Elephant.
His despair not even the least bit lesser when discovering the original talent of the people from blake clan.
It took him 4 years to get rid of all that fat.
After all the work outs and system tasks he finally lost all the weight and now had this healthy and fit body.
"Little lin your coming of age ceremony is in 1 week,have you finally decided what kind of partner you want to have as your first contract?"
William asked
"Uh....No father".
Adrian replied in an awkward manner.
"Little lin you have turned down the first elder again didn't you? He was tearing his beard and complained to me that you turned down all the beasts he showed you".
Said Adrian's mom Venessa with a forceful smile.
"Mom we already discussed this, there is no way I'm going to have a contract with those beasts they are too weak!"
said Adrian in a firm voice.
"I know that you youngsters want a strong beast as a partner but how can you turn down more than 200 types of beasts.The First elder said that if not for you being the most sensible among the younger generation and my son at that he would have beaten you down" said william blake with a laugh.
Vennesa Blake gave a fierce look towards William blake. The latter coughed and avoided her scary eyes.
"No means No! I Absolutely ain't choosing those weaklings".
Said Adrian in an unwavering tone again.
'Even though I have a system that doesn't mean I'll choose absolute useless shit like those, I'll only choose the best ones with suitable attributes,which I can later evolve into an absolute invincible monster team!'
said Adrian in his heart.
"Uh....fine I'll let you go and choose any kind of beast you want from the beast market.
I will ask your uncle wyatt to go with you,only he could tolerate your stubbornness I'm too lazy to care about it".Said william blake holding his forehead.
"Uncle wyatt is coming?
I thought he went on a journey to find opportunities for his Gale Vulture's breakthrough".
Adrian said in a surprised tone.
Wyatt was one of the 2 General realm friends william had,Wyatt Absolutely doted on Adrian as he was very mature and diligent.
"Yeah....it seems he wasn't successful so he will be coming tomorrow and stay till the end of your ceremony, go and buy whatever you want,but make sure to have a beast partner before the coming of age ceremony"
said william with a regretful tone.
"Alright then,I will take my leave father"
saying Adrian left leaving only William and Vennesa in the room.
"Hey vennesa have you ever thought that he wasn't our son?"
William asked vennesa.
"You old man! what are you talking about! look at that handsome face and charming looks how can he not be my son?!" Venessa shouted loudly.
"Uh....that's not what I meant 4 years ago ever since that drowning incident he has changed too much loosing weight,reading historical books at Library all the time,learning all the rules of a businessman, following the clan rules strictly, never wasting money again and Being respectful to all the elders and deacons without any arrogance. I still feel this change was a bit too much".
William explained with a helpless expression.
"I also feel it sometimes after the incident he used to be very uncomfortable with us we both used to worry all the time but he still returned to normal and the change of his behavior is pretty nice actually, isn't it good that my son matured earlier than all the others?"
Venessa said with a smile.
"But he nevers acts like a kid at his age normally do,always looks at the air in his front and mumbles strange words some of the servants said he might be speaking to a Ghoul type beast or have gone mad" William said with a strange face
"Hmph! those are all stupid rumors those guys made up to make my son look bad,don't tell me you believe them do you?" Vennesa asked harshly.
"Of course not!"William retorted immediately.
"You are just jealous as my son is better than you in looks or maturity".Vennesa said with a mocking expression.
"Mother's love is indeed blind"William shook his head.
"Hmph! So what should we do about his partner beast?" Vennesa asked at that.
"We can't force him to choose one randomly it's something that will decide his future even though we are a business clan we can't be careless when choosing a partner right?" William said.
"Yeah let's leave it to brother wyatt "
Said vennesa.
"Yes let's do that he is more suitable".
said william.
