09:00 PM 'Heaven Island, Lake Ontario:
"So will her growth be stable even with the overwritten code?"
Arias asked Dr.Veritas who was analyzing data on a nearby computer.
"Yes, the parts that are overwritten covered weaknesses, enhanced cell, enhanced strength, ..."
Dr.Veritas kept listing all the positive changes the unknown DNA brought about.
"And what does my DNA contribute to?"
Dr.Veritas analyzed the data once more at an immense speed before finally answering Arias.
"Aside from increasing her potential to a Godly level, it acts more on nonphysical characteristics, as to which ones she will inherit and which she will develop I can not tell just yet. More importantly, If you want her to be at her best she will need to be left to grow in the capsule till she reaches the same physical body type as the one the base DNA was taken from."
"Although changing the physical body type may not necessarily harm her it may bring out issues because your DNA and the other merged to fit and alter the characteristics of the body from which the catalyst DNA was taken."
Arias nodded and understood what she meant
"Okay I agree and how long will development till her prime take?".
Dr. Veritas has already done the calculations before hand and was quick to answer.
"Artificially aging her should only take two weeks and an extra 3 days to instill enough knowledge into her".
After saying that Arias nodded as he was satisfied with the time though it seemed something still bothered him.
He walked for a bit and looked into an empty capsule filled with a green bubbly fluid. Dr.Veritas walked over to his side.
"I'm sorry when I ran an analysis on her body I saw its cells were dying at an alarming rate and I only managed to gather the one untainted genetic sample the others seemed to dismantle after a short while...what kind of attack is capable of such...?"
The Doctor wore a worried expression on her face before Arias answered.
"It's not your fault your world had never experienced the infinity. What you see here is the work of Ted Khord's tailor-made Omni Mind and Community Nanovirus which turn the infected into OMACs, which are drone-like slaves. She must have caused her cells to start dying to prevent herself from being turned into one and as a precaution sent herself into the Phantom Zone."
Dr.Veritas seemed downcast at the fact she failed to neutralize the Nanovirus.
Arias looked at her and smiled while stroking her hair.
"Don't let it get you down the one tailor-made by Ted Khord was infused with the remains of the Anti-Monitor. A very powerful cosmic being who controls the Antimatter Universe. Seal the capsule and shrink it to an atomic level then send it back to the Phantom Zone, this technology is currently beyond your ability".
After doing as she was instructed and sending the capsule into the Phantom Zone, Dr.Veritas and Arias left the lab while walking in silence. Arias glanced at the Doctor who seemed to be deep in thought before smiling and saying to her.
"You'll see many different kinds of advanced technology as our organization grows and you will be able to study what most scientists can only dream of".
Hearing Arias's words Dr.Veritas seemed to regain her usual vigor and walked with the confidence Arias was accustomed to. After reaching the square they thanked the guests for attending and saw them off at the docking area. Once the guests had left and Dr.Veritas saw most tables in the square still full of food she announced that the residents and students may host their little late-night party if they so wished and wished they did.
Both Arias and Dr.Veritas had zero intention of staying to see the party take place so they had gone back to the main building. Arias and Dr. Veritas parted ways as she wanted to get some rest before monitoring the capsule. Arias on the other hand simply changed into his usual black attire and went to the training section of the building.
There he found his newly selected recruits training hard...well most of them. Both Raven and Starfire were in hellish training simulations in rooms below the gym area Arias walked into. He looked at the two separate screens showing the two women fighting hard and let out a smile.
In the gym, there was only Billy trying to lift weights. Seeing the kid trying to lift the smallest weight with both hands and still failing he couldn't help but chuckle at the scene before quietly approaching him.
"Need some help there?"
Arias asked casually but still startled the kid.
"Oh um no sir I just think my real body is too weak so I was trying to get some work in to improve, I mean what's the point of training as Shazam when I can be killed by a butter knife when I'm me".
Arias lifted the weight Billy was trying to lift and put it back on the rack "I get what you mean and I'm not really against the idea but...you do realize the smallest weight here is still 1 tonne right? Didn't Harley give you a tour?".
Billy's mouth gaped open.
"A tonne as in a tonne?..and yea she did but didn't specify the weights just said feel free to use the place anytime..."
Arias nodded before speaking.
"She probably thought you'd all train using your abilities I suppose, anyway, for now, train as Shazam you won't be going on missions soon so we'll work something out by then. Just train your hardest on what you can alright?. Now rush to the third simulation room and work your way up the difficulty levels".
Billy stood upright and saluted before answering.
