Chapter 99: Chapter 100: Leisure Night
09:00 PM 'Leviathan Tower, New York:
Arias was standing in the lobby with Dr. Veritas next to him. She passed him a tiny device and looked at a platform on the floor in front of them. She then smiled and spoke proudly.
"Will you do the honors?"
Arias nodded slowly as he played with the little device in his hands.
"Gladly *Beep*"
As he clicked a button multiple lights on the platform began to flicker rapidly. A bright light shone from it covering the entire lobby. It didn't take long for Billy and Natasha to rush down to the scene.
They both squint their eyes as they could barely see anything. Soon some silhouettes began to be seen and once the light faded one of the silhouettes moved and incredible speed towards Arias.
"Father.."
It was of course Nearítheá who dashed into Arias's embrace. Behind her Kara and Raven followed. Arias tilted his head a bit and looked at the two who avoided his gaze. He shifted his eyes back to Nearítheá and asked.
"It's barely been a week over there, why so energetic? and is your mother not coming?"
Nearítheá smiled and looked up at him.
"I know Father. But it was strange not having you around. Mother stayed behind just in case of anything, She said you can let her know when it's okay to come over. Kara and Raven were curious so they came along. Rose wanted to as well, but she still has training most days."
Arias nodded.
"I see. Well this Leviathan tower is pretty similar to the one you already know just smaller. And this world is also a lot like earth just different people and galactic races mostly so not much of your curiosity will be satisfied."
All three girls didn't seem the slightest bit disappointed. Kara only shrugged while Raven didn't react at all. As for Nearítheá she was too busy enjoying her father's embrace. Soon though Nearítheá's eyes shifted to Natasha who stood with Billy a bit further back.
"Who's that?"
Nearítheá's question caused Dr. Veritas to smirk while Raven and Kara also looked at the woman curiously. Anytime Arias was near a pretty woman they would of course be curious about who she is especially Nearítheá who hugged her father even more tightly as if guarding her territory.
Natasha was a bit hesitant. She didn't want to pretend anymore but also didn't know how to make a good first impression. This was after all a chance at a new life devoid of what she had to deal with as a spy. Ever since her eye-opening self realization about the events in her life thus far, she felt herself a bit different
Around Arias, she was still calm, confident and spoke free minded. But when she thought about how messing this up may close new opportunities for her, she chose to speak cautiously. Largely due to how Arias's presence made her feel. It was neither infatuation nor love but something she couldn't describe that simply made her feel comfortable. She didn't want to lose that without even understanding why she felt like this.
Even she didn't understand why she felt so close to practically a stranger, however she took a deep breath and spoke in her normal confident tone.
'I suppose I'll just have to wait and see how this plays out...'
"You can call me Natasha. I met Arias, Billy and Dr. Veritas at the auction they hosted. It was there were Arias offered me in place in his organization so here I am. I haven't yet decided to fully join so you could say I'm just a guest observing..."
Nearítheá seemed content with the answer and didn't ask further.
"Oh then, Welcome Natasha."
She spoke quickly and turned her attention back to Arias whereas Kara and Raven were suspicious about her words. From the way she looked at Arias they knew something wasn't right.
Billy on the other hand was more excited to show off his new blade to Kara and Raven. When Nearítheá saw this she gave Arias a pleading look and spoke.
"Where's my Father?".
Arias leaned into her ear and whispered in a domineering tone.
"Later"
Nearítheá immediately began to blush as certain memories came flooding back into her mind. Dr. Veritas who was pondering all this while had finally spoken up.
"I'll need a tweak a few things and install warp devices on the other floors. After which Arias can interlock our two different worlds at this point. For now, I'll need you all to leave me while I work in the lobby."
Arias pondered for a moment on where to go in the meantime. Suddenly Nearítheá voiced her idea out loud.
"Father you owe me a day out, so I'll just use it as a night out if that's okay with you... I want to try visiting a club. I'm curious after aunt Harley mentioned it".
Arias and pretty much everyone else looked at Nearítheá oddly.
"Hmm. I suppose there's no problem. Alright then, everyone get dressed".
Arias's agreement made everyone even more confused. Kara and Nearítheá quickly asked for Dr. Veritas's synthesizer to make outfits. Raven who seemed to not be excited simply used magic in preparation. After agreeing Kara, Nearítheá and Billy used the synthesizer to make outfits.
Soon Arias appeared downstairs all dressed up along with Natasha. He too just made clothes using his abysmal smoke. Arias wore Aviators to not be recognized immediately, Natasha with a bit of makeup and lenses was also all set. Billy copied Arias's style and he too put on some Aviators aswell.
About 20 mins later at a top class club. A luxurious limo arrived the scene. The doors opened slowly, and gorgeous women soon appeared out of it with two guys. Although Billy had a baby face he was no longer as short as he used to be. Just a bit shorter than Raven.
Arias gave the area a quick look then led the way. The bouncer was big and muscular looking and even taller than Arias. But Arias simply took his aviators off and asked.
"Do we have a problem?"
