Chapter 986: SOMETHING IS NOT RIGHT

Ruth was silent and sad these days. She kept herself busy in training and helping the others in taking care of the ship. She didn't speak much, nor did she smile even for once.

She was not sharing the same room as Edwin and was staying in the other room. But not even once she questioned Edwin for his behaviour or tried to confront him or Maya.

She hadn't fought with Edwin or Maya, which only confused Thea more. If she was in Ruth's place, then she would have sat on Rees' shoulders, banging his head until he apologised for his mistake to her heart's content.

Watching Ruth standing on the deck, Thea's face saddened. She wanted to help Ruth but didn't know how. She tried everything to belittle Maya, to keep Edwin and her away, but none of her tricks worked.

It was like that girl had brainwashed Edwin completely.
