Zoe stared at the locked metal door. Her eyes shut close, hearing the loud bangs and curses coming from the other side of the door.

"How long do you think we can hold him back like this?" Thea asked, watching at the door with a worried face.

She was angry but also hurt and tensed. She couldn't sort out her feelings, unlike her husband, who was only glaring at that door with flared nostrils.

Thea knew what it took Rees to not jump over Edwin and avenge what he did or tried to do with Ruth. Yes, Rees could give up on his life for Edwin. But he had also made Edwin clear that he would always protect Ruth from every danger even if that danger was Edwin himself.

"Not much longer. It is a full moon night." Kevin pointed out the simple fact that others had forgotten about.
