Chapter 4: Chapter 3
The person tilted their head back making his hood fall off. "Hatori?" I was so shocked. He smiled then leaned in till our faces were inches away from each other. He closed his eyes and kissed me on the cheek. "Follow me." Hatori told me as he let me go. I did as I was told and followed Hatori. He led me to this aquatic room where there were a bunch of tanks with water in them. He took me all the way to the back of the room and stopped once we got to this tank. "Stay here." He went to the other side of the tank and called out, "Shelly" multiple times until a dark shadow emerged from a cave-like thing. Once the shadow got to where I was I saw what it really was. "A TURTLE!!!! OMG!! IT'S SOOO CUTE!!" I exclaimed. We stayed with the turtle for about an hour before we left. Hatori walked me back to my room before going to his room in the hospital.
Author: In case you're wondering, Hatori has a special room that he stays in sometimes. Yes he sleeps in the hospital sometimes.
When I woke up in the morning I saw a note and a tray of food on the side table next to my bed. 'Izumi, here is some food. Please eat so you can get stronger.' Is what the note said. I didn't eat. I wasn't very hungry. Hatori came into the room as I put the note down and pushed the tray of food away. "Aren't you going to eat Izumi?" Hatori asked. I quickly grabbed a donut and took a bite. "Of course! I just didn't like how it was so close to the edge." I quickly responded. He nodded. I finished the donut then asked Hatori if we could go for a walk. I loved our walks. Hatori made me feel special. I think I might have started gaining feelings for him. "Of course, Izumi. Get dressed and meet me at the cafe ok?" Hatori asked. I nodded and got dressed then went down to the cafe and looked for Hatori. As I started walking, I felt someone tap my shoulder. I turned around to face a light hazel haired boy with red eyes. "Hello, Izumi! Please come with me." The boy said. "My name is Sakamaki Ayato and Hatori told me to check up on your health. We have to go to my office but it won't take very long." I nodded. I felt very uncomfortable with him but I didn't want to be rude so I continued to walk with him. "Izumi?" I heard someone call. I turned to see who called me and saw Hatori walking towards me. "Izumi? What are you doing with this person? I thought you were going to meet me at the cafe?" Hatori asked. He kept looking from me to Ayato. "Oh, well A-" Ayato cut me off. "I was asked to check her health before she did anything, Hatori. So I was simply taking her to get her health checked." Hatori looked at me and then back at Ayato. "Who asked?" Hatori asked. Ayato shifted. "Her doctor. Her original doctor." Hatori glared at Ayato. "Her original doctor had no concern for Izumi which is why I was assigned to be her doctor." Hatori stated. Ayato simply smiled. "Yes but she was told to check up on her health but since she didn't want to she asked if I would and I said I would so therefore I am taking Izumi to get her health like I was asked to." Ayato smiled while talking. Hatori was giving Ayato the death glare. "Fine she can go to get her health checked but...I'm coming with because I don't trust you." Hatori said. Ayato nodded. "That's fine. Izumi, let's go." Ayato motioned for me to go with him and I did with Hatori not far behind me.
Once we arrived at the room, Ayato kept looking at Hatori but checked my health. When he checked my temperature he must've noticed something because his eyes widened. "What's wrong Ayato?" I asked. He walked around for a minute then grabbed his jacket and put it around my shoulders. "I'll be right back Izumi. Is that ok?" Ayato asked me. I nodded. When he came back he had at least 2 big blankets. He put them both on my shoulders as well. "Ok, now please leave the blankets on for at least 20 minutes minimum. I'll be back in a few minutes." Ayato told me. "I'm going to use the bathroom." Hatori said then left. Ayato came back before Hatori so it was just me and Ayato in the room. "Izumi. How are you feeling? When I took your temperature you were extremely cold." He put his lips on my forehead. "Now it feels like your warm." Ayato moved the blankets from my shoulders. "Let me take your temperature again." Ayato did and to my surprise I was a lot warmer than I was before. "Here drink some water. You need to drink water to stay hydrated." Ayato said as he gave me a glass of water. I drank some then put the cup down. I felt dizzy all of a sudden. "Was that water? I feel really dizzy." I asked Ayato. Ayato grabbed my hand. Then I saw black.
