It was 𝘯𝘰𝘵 a regular day in the uchiha compound.
Screams of a women could be heard given you were in the compund due to the secrecy seals you wouldn't hear a thing if you were outside it, That just seemed like an security hazard in Sasuke's opinion it was just asking for someone strong enough to attack the compound because there will be no reinforcements due to the seals until it was too late but he digressed it wouldn't matter anyway not with the anbu watching him
Oh? why was he torturing someone right in front of the anbu? well if asked he'd simply tell the woman to confess in front of the public and the hokage would have to answer why he put a proven pedophile and rapist in charge of a kid much less the last last uchiha the funny thing was the hokage hadn't probably even known about her background as she was one of danzo's me- women when her loyalties where discovered well danzo would burn so he would do my job for me and constrict the flow of information
It was also to send a message he was torturing one of danzo's subordinates in public and it was danzo who had to do a cleanup, It would hopefully prevent him from trying to send spy's among his ranks
It also might have something to do with the fact he hated pedophiles and rapists owing to the fact -
He would rather not talk about what his bitch of a stepmother did to his little brother.

Sasuke had already scouted the streets of
Konoha, It was the usual drab but colourful place everyone radiated excess positivity but there was an aura... of falseness it was like the artificial lifeforms aura they were human in every sense expect his instinct told him they were fake they had an clinical aura instead of a natural one they smelled of a liar
that aura of falseness was always there the fake smiles, the lies, the propaganda.... most adults generated a feeling of sheer lies but today it was.... concentrated... at first Sasuke was going to let it go thinking it was just the result of the Kumo ambassadors if not for the sudden explosion of bloodlust in the direction of the hyuga compund,
I immediately ran towards it abandoning all pretenses of disguise , normally i would never run towards a situation without any preparation but if what my instincts where telling me was correct.....
The situation was 𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘣𝘢𝘥, incite a war level of bad the people from kumo where trying to kidnap the hyuga heiress... Talk about stupidity
he perched in the trees and watched them trying to kidnap the hyuga heiress he needed an opportune moment to strike he had finished readying his genjutsu
He could sense another hyuga approaching it would take 9 seconds for him to arrive so Sasuke jumped down the trees forming handsingns midair before facing the group looking straight into the eyes of the leaders his sharingan blaring he formed the final handsign ,that of the snake before a burst of red chakra escaped him covering the assailants who immediately fell to the ground

the highs diminished and the lows of life exaggerated over and over again until nothing remained but the worst of their lives playing on repeat over and over again and due to fact all previous attachments are removed,well.... when the conscious and the memories are merged again the result is rather unique...
any form of guilt, sadnnes, or even hatred that might have formed towards themselves would interfere with the re fusion of their memories and consciousness resulting in them becoming mindless puppets thatis at full power though because of the strength of the jutsu... it comes with a lot of..... problems he would need 3 hours of preparation to launch it in full power alongside plethora of other reasons as Sasuke completed his internal monologue in few seconds he realised the hyuga girl... hinata he thought her name was was blank eyed and shivering he realised what happened and ran towards her over the bodies of the kumo nin and dispelled his genjutsu that had somehow hit her even with her being outside the range her eyes regained clarity and she looked at him with awestruck eyes as he wondered how the hell she had been effected by his genjutsu even partly perhaps it was due to the fact she was in direct contact with a target?
He could wonder no longer as the hyuga had arrived he looked at me and said a single word "explain" and so I did
at the end of my explanation he deactivated his byakugan and looked at me softly and said "The hyuga clan owe you greatly for saving our heiress, now let's see the hokage"
Fuck I forgot about the bureaucracy the eternal gratitude of one the strongest clans might not be worth it.
