Chapter 6: Chapter 6 - I Will Try
*Chen corporation CEO's Office...
Su Min stood outside the door and took deep breaths before knocking.
"Come in." Li Wei called from inside.
Taking slow steps, Su Min stepped inside and forced a smile. "Good morning sir," She greeted
Li Wei immediately raised his head to as soon as he heard her voice. "Good morning Miss Yan, Chen Liwei answered, How are you today?"
"I'm fine thank you sir." Su Min put forth her hand to pass Li Wei some files. Sir, here are the files from the collaboration, and the documents for the Makano Mall.
"Oh...okay, what's the progress on the Mall?
"It's almost completed sir, it should be fully done in a month's time.
"Okay, that's good then, it should be in time with the "Ariel" Launch right?
"Yes sir."
"That's Good." Li Wei nodded.
"I'll leave the files here sir," she dropped all the files on the table and turned to leave.
"Miss Yan."
"Yes sir?" Su Min turn back to look at him.
"About the other day, I am sorry if I had made you sad, I really didn't mean to. I just wanted to confess my feelings to you. I didn't know that it would open old wounds, I'm really sorry." Li Wei cracked his knuckles and looked at her. "But if you are really hoping to move on and take the steps, I don't mind being your rebound. I could give you my shoulder to lean on, and I could lend you my ears to listen, please just give me a chance.
"It's okay sir, I don't blame you because it's not your fault, it's mine. Because, I am still holding on to a past that cannot be. "I am trying to move on though, it's a little tough but I believe I'll get there soon.
"Then why don't you let me help you? Li Wei retorted.
"I....I just.....you...you deserve better," Su Min stuttered. You deserve a better person Sir. You deserve someone to love you and not becoming someone else's rebound.
Li Wei stood up from his seat and went towards her. "I know no one better than you. You are the best person I ever met. Your faithfulness and devotion to the one you love makes me love you even more. Plus," Li Wei shrugged, "I don't mind being a rebound if it's to be with you. He held her hands and made her look at him. "I didn't choose to love you Su Min, my heart chose you, and there's nothing you or me can do about it. So, please don't tell me what I deserve, because all I want is you.
Su Min sighed seeing him insist so much. she nods her head in agreement. "Okay sir, I'll will give it a try."
"What?! Li Wei asked in disbelief.
"I said I'll try."
"Wow, did you really say that? i don't think i heard it.
"I said, I will give it a try and see how it works out.
"You are willing to be with me? He asked still surprised.
"Yes sir, since you don't mind me at all.
Li Wei Pulled her towards him. he kissed her hands and said, Thank you so much for accepting me. "You just made my day Su Min.
"No sir, I should thank you more, because you are willing to help me come out of my shell, even though you know I might not love you...."
"Don't worry, you'll learn to love me. I Li Wei opened his arm wide for her to see. "I mean what's there not to love about me? I'm rich, handsome, cool, caring and faithful. So, how could you not fall for me, when I am totally a lovable person.
Su Min smiled at his words and said, "You really are lovable sir."
Li Wei looked around as if searching for something, he turned back and frowned. "You know what?"
"What Sir?"
"I think you should stop it now."
"Stop what sir?
"The 'Sir' thing, I mean Since we're doing this we should do it properly, Right? You are my girlfriend now and it doesn't sound proper to call me sir, just say my name. "Li Wei."
"But isn't that a little too soon? I mean, I just agreed to give it a try, nothing is official yet...."
"Well, to me it is, Since, you agreed to be mine. it's already official and you're mine now until forever. And Su Min remember, "No Take Backs." Since you already accepted me let's start immediately. What do you say?"
"Okay."
"Good"
"I'll take you to dinner later, to celebrate the beginning of our relationship, How about that?"
"It's okay sir."
Li Wei frowned at the address. "What did you say?"
"I mean okay L....Li.....Liwei"
"That's good, now let's get back to work. I'll pick you up after work." He said Happily
"Okay." Su Min said as she went back out.
"Yes!! Li Wei jumped up and threw his fist in the air.

*Gu Conglomerate....*
A woman stepped in majestically. She looked like a Princess from those fairy tale stories. She was wearing a yellow skin tight gown, with knee length slit which accentuated her heavy curves, she wore a gold color stilletto. Her long hair stopped right above her waist. The light make up she wore compliments her beauty making her look very hot and alluring. She walked towards the reception and greeted the receptionist with a smile.
"Hi,"
"Good day miss, welcome to Gu conglomerate. "How may i help you?
"I'm here to see Jun, is he around?
"Yes ma'am, the CEO is around.
"Oh, Good I'll go up to him then. Ye Soo Ya said proudly.
"Is he expecting you ma'am?
"No, he's not, I want to surprise him."
Looking at the beautiful woman, the receptionist shook her head. she has seen a lot of women come in and claim they know the CEO or that they are in a relationship with him which usually turns out to be false. "This one is probably one of them, the receptionist thought.
"I am sorry miss, but I can't let you in. Without an appointment you can't see the CEO.
"Don't worry, he'll be happy to see me." she said walking to the VIP elevator.
"Please Miss, you cannot do this, you can't go up." The receptionist said and pulled her away trying to stop her from going inside the elevator.
"What did you just do?! Soo Ya shouted. "Did you just pull me? How dare you?! Do you know who I am?! Do you know I could get you fired for this?! Soo Ya yelled angrily.
The receptionist trembled in fear,
"I'm sorry miss, I'm really sorry, I was only trying to stop you from going up to the CEO's office.
"And who are you stop me from seeing my fiance?!
"WHAT?! she is the boss's fiancee, the receptionist thought, and quickly bowed.
"I'm really sorry miss, I didn't know who you were I....."
She couldn't complete her words before the so called fiancee stepped into the elevator and went straight to the CEO's office.
"Is she really the boss's fiancee? one employee asked.
"I didn't know the boss was engaged," said another.
"She's so beautiful," stated another.
"But intimidating," Added another.
"Do we get to see her often now?" another employee asked.
"We are so finished!
"Why? A blonde woman asked.
"Didn't you see the way she spoke to Jinjin? poor girl almost peed in her pants, I can't imagine what will happen if she comes here daily."

At the CEO's Soo Ya opens the door to the office and barged in, to see the Jun Pyo and the account officer busy with something on the computer, they didn't even notice someone come in.
They were so close, that from a third party's view it seem she is showing her cleavage to him and he was enjoying the view.
