"Please grant me another life!" She begged until all the people that attended the wedding dispersed and leave her soul in the church. The knights that was under her command brought her body back and said that they'll held a funeral for her.
Gabrielle kept kneeling in front of the statue to give her another chance to live. Even after the night comes, she did not stop. She won't stop. Now she understands what that man means. After all the things she have done for the Prince, she was treated as if she was nuisance that he does not need anymore.
"Please I beg you. Anyone. I beg to all the Gods, Please give me a chance." She bowed down, her fore head touching the ground as she weep and beg. As she keeps begging she heard the last echo of the bell, the last stroke of midnight before she slowly lost her consciousness.

Gabrielle woke up as she felt the cold breeze of air and with a sound of dripping water. She opened her eyes and saw her pitched black surroundings. She shivers as felt the cold breeze again. She roamed her eyes and turned around to check if she could find anything but to her dismay, she was only surrounded by nothing but darkness. She decided to follow the sound of the dripping water until she reach a beautiful paradise where the sun shines brightly, and the trees are abundant. The dripping water that she heard came from the falls.
She walks towards the falls and crouched near the base where the water is calm and looked at her reflection. But instead of her reflection, different images were flashed on the water for her to see. It was like she was watching someone else story.
"Hye-soo, have you read this one? This one is very popular this days. I bet you'll like it." A girl with her hair tied up in a ponytail said cheerfully as she waved a book in front of another girl with a glasses that is laying down with her stomach. The girl reached for the book and read the title.
"Angel's Love? No, I haven't read this yet. I do read the reviews of this book but I don't have the money to buy it yet." Hye-soo sat down and opened the book. "Can I borrow this?"
"Okay. Give it back to me once your down."
"Thanks, Yu-ri eonnie."
That's right. How can she forgot? This world that she's in as Captain Eve Gabrielle Baignard Ariston is a world inside a novel that she once read. Captain Eve Gabrielle Baignard Ariston is a supporting character that was once the Crown Prince lover before she became the Captain of the knights that operates under the direct order of the Prince himself.
When she was still Hye-soo, she loved reading so much and everyone knows about it. Yu-ri was her friend that usually lets her borrow any books from her. Angel's Love was the title of the novel that she was now in. She haven't finish reading the book because she died saving another person from her previous life that was almost hit by a speeding truck but instead she was the one who died from the accident.
After she came her and inhabit the body of Captain Eve Gabrielle Baignard Ariston she decided to go along with the story and to follow everything that was written on it not knowing the ending was. She did not know that the Gabrielle from the novel would die just to protect the Prince who she loved so much. And now she came to know that the Prince don't even care for her even a single bit and how rotten and selfish they were for only thinking about their selves.
It was describe in the novel and the reason why it was titled Angel's Love was because the female lead Lady Ingrid Azalea D'Aleo Ohlmannwas very kind and very generous that she was always compared to an Angel. But she was different from the moment she saw me died, she was worried for herself and scared for her life as she have married the Crown Prince who have many enemies. I treated her like a sister but she did not even mourn for my death.
Why did I even follow the flow of the novel? Is it because I do not know what was the ending of the story? And why did I even forgot who I was? Is it because I became so comfortable living here or was it because what I felt for the Crown Prince as his lover felt so real, that I really fall in love with him?
Tears streamed down her face as she continued watching her previous lives as Hye-soo and as Captain Eve Gabrielle. Her tear dropped to the water and everything, every image from the clear water vanished. Her surroundings spin and she can see a bright light shines from deep inside the Falls that it blinded her until she can no longer bear it and loss consciousness.
"Jeon Hye-soo, Eve Gabrielle Baignard Ariston, I will grant your wish to have another chance in life in one condition." Even though she was unconscious, she heard a calm, warm voice.
"Take back my beloved child's soul."

"Eve, wake up! We have a lot of work to do today!" the little girl stirred from her sleep before she slowly opened her eyes. She was greeted by the gentle smiling face as soon as she opened her eyes. She blinks her eyes as the old woman registered on her. She can clearly remember that face, that smiling face that misses so much. It was the same face that greets her the first time she got here in this world, it was the same face the comforts her when she was so lost. Eve's Mother.
She stifled her cry but unable to hide the tear that rolls down her face as she slowly reached out for her face and softly caress it but her longing was then change to curiosity when she remembered something and saw her small hands.
"Why are you crying, Eve?" The woman, Amelia Mable Baignard Ariston, asked and wiped the tears that rolled down her face.
"I-i just got a bad dream, mother. But I'm fine now, It won't bother me." Eve sat down and lets her mother wiped her body with a wet clothe. Amelia then helped her to wear her dress and tied her long curly hair.
"Let's hurry and start working, now. It's a perfect weather to accomplish great deal of things today." Her mother said cheerfully as they went out of their house after eating.
The Ariston was a fallen noble that was now residing near the mountains with a very small house that only fits the two of them. Eve's father died aster they went bankrupt. It was too sudden that all of their business went out of business and the last of their money was donated to the church in hopes that the Gods will give it back to them and bless them ten folds back but it never happened. In result her father killed himself because of the humiliations.
She gets it now. The God of life gave her another chance to redeem herself and her mother. She went back to the time where she was first came into this novel world. When they were just eight years of age. When the Empress chose her mother to be the Crown Prince' nanny and when she will become one of the prince' maid and fall in love with the prince at first sight.
"Are we going to deliver this to the capital, mother? All of this?" she asked as she helped her mother lift all the vegetables that they are going to sell. Her mother looked back at her and smile gently.
"Yes, Darling. After we sell all of this, let's go shopping?" She knotted her fore head and tried to think what had happened during this time in the past.
"Let's just save the money mother and just buy the things that we will need." Ahh. That was right. She became so excited in the past that she agreed as soon as she heard the word shopping from her mother. They went shopping around the market place until they bumped into the Empress who came from an outing and that was the time that her mother was chosen to be the Prince' nanny. No, That should not happen ever again. Eve thought as she shakes her head.
"Are you sure, darling? Don't you want to buy a new dress?" She smiled sweetly at her mother.
"I don't need a new dress, mother. We need to save a lot of money to last us for the rest of our lives." Her mother stopped what she was doing and laugh hard at what she said before she pat Eve's head.
"You silly girl. Of course I know that but after we sell all of this vegetables we'll have a lot of money enough to shop for all the things that we'll need for the next days before the next harvest and save enough money for the future. We can still buy you a dress." They started lifting the vegetables again and filled their wagon.
"I'd rather save the money than buy a new dress that I won't even wear." Eve murmured but enough to let her mother hear her.
"Girls your age should be excited to have a new dress for the new season. Aren't you excited?" Her mother let her sit beside her before she softly beat the horse to run down towards the market place of the capital.
"I'm excited, mother but I still have dress that I can use for the next season so we don't need to buy a new dress for me." Eve explained before she leaned on her mother's shoulder enough to make her still move around while maneuvering the wagon.
"Okay. I understand you. We won't go shopping for a new dress." Her mother said in a low voice clearly sad for her response. "I'm sorry, my darling that we don't have enough money to buy what ever you wanted."
Eve looked up to her mother before she flashed her a sweet smile. She hugged her mother and caress her shoulder.
"You don't have to be sorry, mother. I'm happy with the two of us, I don't need anything as long as I have you in this world." She softly said and lean towards her mother again.
They continued their journey towards the market place in silent and feeling the cool gentle breeze of the air. Eve felt so calm and happy at the same time, now that she was with her mother again.
She won't let her mother go to the castle and let her mother be the crown prince' nanny. She remembered the time that her mother was always punished in behalf of the prince'. The Prince would always behaved terrible towards everyone but he won't get punish, instead her mother, the prince' nanny was the one being punished saying that she did not taught the prince any manners when the Prince have a tutor that should teach him.
In the past, she doesn't care anything about it because after all that was how the novel was written and that time she decided to just go along with it and she should not do anything that will destroy the flow of the novel but now is different. She now have the reason to do everything she can just so they remain safe and alive. She would not let anything happen to the both of them now that she was given another chance.
They arrived at the market place and started to open their vegetable store, and as soon as they opened the the vegetable stand and placed the fresh vegetables on display all of those who were in the market place to buy stocks came to them and started buying the vegetables. She assisted some of the customers and helped her mother with the payments. She smiled and muttered her thanks to the customer before assisting another and they became very busy until the afternoon.
