Chapter 17: [The Eidetic Library Of Knowing], Eating The [Forbidden Fruit Of Eden]
Vincent carefully held the note and proceeded to read its contents
''My son, if you are reading this note that means you entered the gate of knowing and are currently in your mind space. The place where you find yourself now is called [The Eidetic Library of Knowing]; This place is not an artifact but a spell on the level of one.”
''Artifacts? Spells?” Vincent questioned particularly to no one before continuing to read the letter
''[The Eidetic Library of Knowing] will give you the ability to have all that you see to be permanently stored in the books of the library you see before you, even if it's just a glimpse. It also allows you to sort out any stored information and call on it at will. “
“This is my last gift to you... I am sorry for leaving, I am sorry for not finding you sooner, I wish I could be with you, hold you, make up for lost time… But I can’t. However, I am with you every step you take. We'll meet again soon, my dear child. Until then, Make me proud!''
With the last paragraph of the letter read, the hanging tears on the edge of his face slowly fell to drop onto his thighs

Moments passed and Vincent had calmed down, his tears gone but face sour.
“I should explore this place more.” He said at the same time getting up from the floor.
Vincent set out to comb the library for a long time, He didn’t feel tired or weary so he kept going until he came before a simple dark oak wooden door. Bit by bit he went closer to it, he twisted the doorknob and pushed the door open into a wide room about the size of a small hall.
In this room was one cozy black oak chair before a brown study table beneath a small glowing ball that illuminated the room
Vincent was spellbound by the soft glow the ball emitted, He stretched out to it and was about to grab onto it, but a familiar monotone voice in his mind stopped him

The system's voice forced Vincent awake from the trance.

''The core…'' Vincent stared more intensely at the ball, taking notice of a myriad of colors and scribes that lay within it, “Fascinating.” He marveled.

[Over time, War, Greed, and Bloodshed led these items to be lost in time or kept in the vault of heaven. However, History still remembers these artifacts and calls them The Artifacts of Elohim, Immanuel (God is with us).]

[The Eidetic Library of Knowing (S-Rank) (EX-Rank): This is a spell formation on par with the Treasures of Elohim in terms of potential, it creates a library in the mind where everything is seen is compiled into books and stored on the shelves. It also boosts the user's intelligence passively. Over time, it’s speculated that the formation will fuse wholly with the mind raising the user’s thinking capacity to high levels. “This is awesome!” Vincent exclaimed in amazement
He almost could not believe his eyes at the ability of this S-Rank item with the potential of getting to EX-Rank item. Still to him, it was a cause for celebration.
So, after looking around a bit more, Vincent left the space by simply saying so
“Exit.”
He was cast out from the space and into his body which made his body awake from the empty state it was in.
He unfolded his eyes to meet the bright light of the morning sun head-on.
“Morning already.” He grumbled, regardless, still got up and prepared for the new day.
After a nice shower, he realized that he could not leave the room.
“Shit! My clothes are tattered. I can’t go onto the streets like this…”
“However, If I use an illusion to cover myself, I can head out with no problem. But my stop would have to be a clothing shop.”

“Genuinely system, Go fuck yourself.”
With that, he snapped his fingers causing the illusion of a simple brown shirt and trouser to be cast on him with the passing of a gold simmer, after he left the room and headed into the streets. A few minutes of asking for directions later, Vincent was able to find a clothing store before noon.
He walked in and greeted the caramel-skinned, red-haired woman who gave the impression of a receptionist in charge.
“Good morning, I would like to buy some men’s wear and shoes”
She beamed at Vincent's presence and responded curtly, “Yes sir, please follow me.” She proceeded to lead him around the store.
Minutes later, Vincent picked up sets of normal comfortable wear of average quality which caused her to sneer within a little until he paid and left after tipping a token of 100 Silvers.
He noticed her surprised expression as he gave her the tip and noted within, 'It seems I need to understand the value of money before I buy something next time.’
Back in his room, he changed into one of the sets he bought. A modest white shirt above brown trousers and fur boots. He sat on the bed contemplating an important issue he put off before resting.
[The Piece of The Forbidden Fruit of Eden].
“What should I do with this?” He asked himself.
‘I do trust the system wouldn’t willingly allow me to ingest something harmful to me but this… This is something else. I wasn’t so much for Christianity but I do remember that this fruit was the reason Adam and Eve were sent out of paradise. I wonder what it’ll do to me’
‘Nonetheless, the system has never before led me astray. I see no reason that it should now.’ He steeled himself, Vincent took out the fruit from his storage ring and after a while of thought threw it into his mouth and ate it.
Thereafter, His vision darkened and he passed out.
If anyone stumbled into Vincent’s room at this moment, A body twitching on the floor would be the first thing they see. But that wouldn't be possible as they would have first died from the amount of wild, rampaging ether coming off his body.
If it wasn't for the system sealing the room, all powerhouses in Eulogeo would have felt the enormous amount of energy excluded from the hotel.
Hours passed and Vincent's body was still exhibiting large expulsion Ether. Worse yet, A new phenomenon began. At the center of his chest, A blue glow slowly changed into more of an Amalgamation of all colors. This continued for some time until all of a sudden it came to a halt.
The twitching, pulsing veins, Ether expulsion all stopped.
At that moment, The fruit of Eden Vincent had eaten came out of his chest and floated mid-air appearing to look for something.
It must have found it shortly later as gold tentacles came out and flew off somewhere while the rest were connected to Vincent’s chest

In all of the realms, various nobles, common men, and different people of different origins pass through the gates of [Yggdrasil] into other realms. It is a mystical treasure created to allow travel between the 3 realms and more.
Today, however, [Yggdrasil] all of a sudden closed all movement and began to quake.
When the travelers noticed this, they panicked and outright lost control of themselves, falling into havoc.
Amid the chaos, [Yggdrasil] then extended a branch of his to meet the golden tentacle of the Fruit of Eden, those who managed to see it were shocked. The magicians and magicians on the other hand were filled with an unfathomable amount of fear and awe at the same time.
Who was mad enough to try to form a pact with [Yggdrasil] whose branches were said to be able to reach the heavens? They asked themselves.
However, what was truly scary was that [Yggdrasil] accepted the pact.
In the mind of all the powerhouses across the realm was one thought
[Yggdrasil] forming a pact with a person, impossible. I must obtain it.
While all this was happening, the perpetrator of this incident was having beautiful dreams.
